OLD DOMINION ROCKS SOLD-OUT CLUB

OLD DOMINION, ROCKS 9,850 FANS IN FIVE CONSECUTIVE SOLD-OUT CLUB SHOWS ON PAST WEEK'S MEAT AND CANDY TOUR

 “Song For Another Time”
Charges Into the Top 5 & Climbing

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Old Dominion, the five-piece band who has toured more than 150 dates in 2016 with 14 shows to go, spent the last week with 9,850 fans, packing houses throughout the country with five consecutive sold-out shows. The band ended the string of headlining performances with two nights at Joe’s Live Rosemont (Saturday, Nov. 19 and Sunday, Nov. 20), just eight months after becoming the first act to sell out Joe’s Live Rosemont on March 1, 2016. Performing to a full house two nights in a row at Joe's Live Rosemont is special for Old Dominion, as Chicago was the first major market the band sold out in 2014 at the venue's sister location, Joe's on Weed.

"We spent so many years wondering if anyone at all would show up to our shows," said Old Dominion's lead singer, Matthew Ramsey. "So, when we step out on the stage and see the people that are coming out to the Meat and Candy Tour, it's a shock every time. The fact that these shows keep selling out too - it's really shaping up to be a tour that we will never forget. What a way to end an incredible year for us."

With eight No.1s between the band of songwriters, most recently “I Met A Girl” (William Michael Morgan) and “Make You Miss Me” (Sam Hunt), Old Dominion’s current single “Song For Another Time” is at No. 4 on the Billboard and Mediabase charts. The song, which People calls “their most charming, and certainly their most unique [single], yet,” is the third from their debut album Meat and Candy, following the two-week No.1 smash “Break Up With Him” and RIAA-certified GOLD follow-up hit, “Snapback.”

After a few days off for Thanksgiving spent with family, the “songwriter-driven, road-tested” (HITS DAILY DOUBLE) band will hit the road again for the last leg of their first ever headlining tour. The band will play nine sold-out shows in December, with stops in Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco and more. In spring 2017, Old Dominion will join Miranda Lambert’s Highway Vagabond Tour.

About Old Dominion:
Proving that they are not your average country band, Old Dominion blend old-fashioned country charm, lyrical wit and rock n’ roll grit into radio-friendly hook-heavy pop nuggets. Old Dominion has emerged as one of the hottest breaking bands in country music, fusing clever lyrics and an infectious sound. The band released their first full-length album Meat and Candy, which Entertainment Weekly called a “deceptively smart, occasionally cheeky, stellar debut.” Old Dominion released their PLATINUM two-week No.1 “Break Up With Him” and RIAA-certified GOLD hit “Snapback” prior to their third single “Song For Another Time,” which is Top 5 and climbing. They spent their summer on Kenny Chesney’s Spread The Love Tour and are now headlining their Meat and Candy Fall Tour, with 15 of the dates tapped as Stagecoach Spotlight: Old Dominion Meat and Candy Tour; the first-ever tour produced by the award-winning Stagecoach Music Festival. Spring 2017, Old Dominion will join Miranda Lambert on her Highway Vagabond Tour. This year, the band has been named ACM New Group of the Year, ACCA Breakthrough Group of the Year, AIMP Songwriter-Artist of the Year and Music Row Breakthrough Artist of the Year. Old Dominion consists of lead singer Matthew Ramsey, lead guitarist Brad Tursi, multi-instrumentalist Trevor Rosen, bassist Geoff Sprung and drummer Whit Sellers.

Nitty Gritty Dirt Band Nominated for EMMY

Nitty Gritty Dirt Band Nominated for EMMY

Nitty Gritty Dirt Band & Friends – Fifty Years, Circlin' Back! nominated for Special Event Coverage in 31st Midsouth Regional EMMY® Awards
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (November 21, 2016) For five decades, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band has remained one of the most iconic names in American roots music. With one foot planted in the traditions of country-folk and the other pointing toward something new and unexpected, the group continues to tour and release music, influencing multiple generations of audiences and artists along the way. Nearly a dozen of those artists join the group on this year's Nitty Gritty Dirt Band & Friends – Fifty Years, Circlin’ Back! PBS special, which was nominated for a Midsouth Regional EMMY® for Special Event Coverage on Friday. Produced for PBS by Todd Squared, Todd Jarrell, Todd Mayo, Steve Schweidel, and directed by James Yockey, Circlin’ Back ran nationwide in conjunction with a PBS pledge drive in March 2016. Circlin’ Back is also available as a cd/dvd combo with bonus songs and interviews, released Sept. 30 via Warner Music Nashville.
Recorded live at Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band & Friends captures a group of longtime road warriors who've yet to lose their grit, joined onstage by John Prine, Sam Bush, Vince Gill, Jerry Jeff Walker, Alison Krauss, Rodney Crowell, Byron House, and Jerry Douglas. Rock and Roll Hall of Famer (and early Dirt Band member) Jackson Browne joined in, along with longtime member Jimmy Ibbotson, while a sold-out crowd sings along in the background. From country classics to deep cuts, the tracklist finds bandmates Jeff Hanna (guitars/vocals), Jimmie Fadden (drums/harmonica/vocals), Bob Carpenter (keyboards/accordion/vocals) and John McEuen (banjo/fiddle/guitar/mandolin) swapping harmonies, trading solos, and shining new light on a catalog of vital, vibrant music.
The Midsouth EMMY® chapter received nearly 900 entries, which were judged by the Northwest Chapter based in Seattle, the Suncoast Chapter in Florida, and the Upper Midwest Chapter in Minneapolis. Nominations were announced on Thursday, November 17 and the videostream is archived. The awards gala will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017, at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville.
Long before Americana music had a name, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band helped lead the charge, mixing elements of country, bluegrass, folk, mountain music, and rock & roll into a sound that celebrated the full range of American music. The guys were traditionalists and trendsetters, performing songs that nodded to the past while still pushing toward the future. Released in 1972 — just six years after the group formed in Southern California — Nitty Gritty Dirt Band's Will the Circle Be Unbroken still stands as one of the most beloved albums in the country catalog, pairing the young band with legends like Roy Acuff, Doc Watson, Earl Scruggs, and Mother Maybelle Carter.

Many decades have passed since that milestone album's release, with the members of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band now enjoying their own legendary status. They continue to blur lines between genres, however, and the upcoming Nitty Gritty Dirt Band & Friends accomplishes something very similar to the classic Will the Circle Be Unbroken, pairing the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band with the hit-makers, rule-breakers, and iconic figures of today's roots music community. This time, Hanna, Fadden, Carpenter, and McEuen are the elder statesmen, passing down their influence and inspiration to a younger class without giving up the torch just yet. There's more music to be made, after all. More shows to play. Another half-century to chase down. The circle rolls on.

Brandy Clark Closes 2016 Acoustic Tour on a High Note

Brandy Clark Closes 2016 Acoustic Tour on a High Note
Critically Acclaimed Singer/Songwriter Tapped as Special Guest for A Tribute to the Music of Linda Ronstadt
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - CMA Award winner and four-time GRAMMY nominee, Brandy Clark, just wrapped a highly successful acoustic tour that Los Angeles Times said, “delivered a stream of smartly crafted songs,” that will make radio “hard-pressed to find songs more emotionally and musically rewarding than Clark’s,” with a bang Sunday in Northampton, Mass. Clark has now been tapped as a special guest for an esteemed event this December honoring revolutionary music icon and 11-time GRAMMY Award winner, Linda Ronstadt.
With an acoustic performance that made CMT write, “few artists can make you feel the power of music quite like Brandy Clark," the acclaimed songwriter sold out an entire run in the United Kingdom as well as multiple stops in Los Angeles, Philadelphia and New York City. The event presented by The Bluegrass Situation, Goldenvoice and Red Light Management is titled, A Tribute to the Music of Linda Ronstadt, and will use powerful voices of respected singer/songwriters to honor the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer in Los Angeles Dec. 11 at The Theatre at Ace Hotel.
Clark, who Washington Post said is “armed onstage with her own powerful voice and an acoustic guitar,” will be in great company as the tribute will feature performances by Ronstadt's close friends including: Jackson Browne, Maria Muldaur and David Lindley as well as those to which she was an influencer: Dawes, Gaby Moreno, Grace Potter and I’m With Her (Sara Watkins, Aoife O'Donovan, Sarah Jarosz) led by the Watkins Family Hour house band.

"Linda Ronstadt is one of my favorite artists and biggest musical influences," says Clark. "I admire how beloved she is within all music circles, from pop to rock to country and beyond. I am honored to be part of this great event and to help raise money for such an important cause."

All proceeds will benefit The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, a disease that affects Ronstadt.

Nashville, Tenn. (November 21, 2016) BIG LOUD MOUNTAIN and TREE VIBEZ MUSIC – a partnership between Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard, hit songwriter Craig Wiseman and more – are celebrating the signing of a talented young songwriter and producer, CAMERON MONTGOMERY.
Hailing from Scottsdale, Arizona, and schooled under the watch of hit-making super producer Dr. Luke (Katy Perry, Rihanna, T.I.), Montgomery brings his dialed-in sense of new-school pop, R&B and hip hop to Nashville, having already been a part of studio teams behind MULTI-PLATINUM-selling singles by Maroon 5 (“Sugar”) and Nicki Minaj (“Only” featuring Drake, Lil Wayne and Chris Brown), as well as projects by Flo Rida, Pitbull, Fifth Harmony and more.
As the latest addition to the Big Loud Mountain/Tree Vibez family, Montgomery is joining the push to expand modern country’s crossover popularity.
"I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to be working with both Big Loud Mountain and Tree Vibez!” shared Montgomery. “It is a dream come true to be joining a team of songwriters and producers that I have looked up to for so long. A big thanks to Seth England, Joey Moi, Craig Wiseman, Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley for bringing me onboard.”
Big Loud Mountain partner Seth England said of the signing, “Cameron Montgomery is a very special talent and a rare find in this town. I first met Cameron in the Tree Vibez bus in Columbus, OH and instantly knew he was someone we had to be involved with immediately. I also couldn’t be more proud to do this deal alongside BK and Tyler and their publishing company Tree Vibez Music."
Managed by Advanced Alternative Music (AAM), Montgomery has already put his skills to work on Music Row, co-writing and co-producing the self-titled EP of Big Machine Label Group’s Ryan Follese. Proving a potent creative fusion, their edgy and grooving summer anthem “Float Your Boat” became a Top 10 hit on Spotify’s Viral 50 chart in 2016. Another of Montgomery’s co-writes, the romantic romper “Put a Label On It,” is Follese’s current single.
Going forward, Montgomery will continue his work with Follese – former frontman of the platinum selling pop-punk group Hot Chelle Rae – again serving as co-writer and co-producer on the artist’s upcoming BMLG Records full-length debut.
