NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 3, 2016) – LOCASH fans are eagerly looking forward to June 17, 2016. It’s on that date that the fast-rising duo of Chris Lucas and Preston Brust will release their first full-length album for Reviver Records, entitled The Fighters.

“The past year has been filled with so many highlights, and Chris and I have been so honored and humbled with the attention our music has gotten from radio and the fans,” said Brust in a statement. “Since we released the I Love This Life EP back in October, our fans have consistently been asking for new music. I can not wait for everyone to hear what we have been working on so hard for years!”

KELSEA BALLERINI SHINES BRIGHT WITH BIG AWARD WINS THIS WEEKEND

KELSEA BALLERINI SHINES BRIGHT WITH BIG AWARD WINS THIS WEEKEND
“Peter Pan” Singer/Songwriter Takes Home Radio Disney Music Award for The Freshest - Best New Artist (all genre) and the American Country Countdown Award for Breakthrough Female of the Year

NASHVILLE, TN (May 3, 2016) – Black River Entertainment’s Kelsea Ballerini shines bright with two big award wins this weekend - the fan-voted Radio Disney Music Award for The Freshest - Best New Artist (all genre) and the American Country Countdown Award (ACCA) for Breakthrough Female of the Year. Thanks to the support of her fans and country radio, Ballerini is the only artist to score award wins at both shows.
Taking her third single “Peter Pan” to a new level, Ballerini teamed up with rising pop star Daya for a special mash-up of the chart-rising hit and Daya's pop anthem, "Hide Away" on the Radio Disney Music Awards. And, the ACM New Female Vocalist of the Year continued to illuminate the stage at the ACCAs, literally, with a flirty, colorful performance of her #1, GOLD-certified hit “Dibs,” featuring a custom-designed light up romper. She kicked off the song by sending a tweet from her phone and then kept the playful social media theme going with emojis corresponding to her song lyrics appearing on screen.
Ballerini rounded out the trip to Los Angeles with media stops at Access Hollywood Live, Young Hollywood, The Hollywood Reporter and Perez Hilton.

OLD DOMINION’S MEAT AND CANDY CONTINUES TO FEED THE COUNTRY MUSIC FAN’S SOUL

OLD DOMINION’S MEAT AND CANDY CONTINUES TO FEED THE COUNTRY MUSIC FAN’S SOUL
ACM Best New Vocal Duo/Group of the Year and AIMP Breakthrough of the Year winners now 2016 ACCA Breakthrough Group/Duo of the Year Victors
Second Single “Snapback” Top 5-and-Climbing
Indio, CALIF. (Tuesday, May 3, 2016) – The Press-Enterprise raved Old Dominion brought “fun summer vibes” and The Desert Sun noted Stagecoach-goers were “impressed by Old Dominion’s modern country” when the five-piece band made their debut on the Mane Stage at the 10th Anniversary of the festival May 1. But it was later that night that the enormity of the weekend sank in following a win for Breakthrough Group/Duo of the Year on the ACC Awards on FOX.
“When we started this band, winning awards never crossed our minds,” shares frontman Matthew Ramsey who, like his bandmates, have celebrated successes as songwriters before having hit records as a band. “We just wanted to make the best music we could. But winning this award really shows us that the years of work we have put into this are paying off in ways we never dreamed of. We owe so much to our families, our management team, our record label, country radio and our FANS for embracing what we do and making us feel at home in the country music family!”
The win follows on the heels of earlier 2016 award wins at the Academy of Country Music Awards for Best New Vocal Duo/Group of the Year and the Association of Independent Music Publisher Awards (AIMPs) last month for Artist/Writer of the Year. Additionally, Ramsey, Trevor Rosen and Brad Tursi all individually took home CMA Triple Play Awards presented to top songwriters who have penned more than three No. 1 hits within a one year period in the Country format.
With an estimated 160 dates on the books in 2016—and it being a lighter year than 2015—Old Dominion are already looking to their next studio album, taking advantage of a break in touring to again join GRAMMY-winning producer Shane McAnally, their co-conspirator on Meat and Candy, in the studio to work on their upcoming second album. Old Dominion’s Trevor Rosen shared with The Press-Enterprise, “We’re working on new music. We’re writing and working up some new stuff and we’ll hopefully start recording in the fall.”
The five-piece band, consisting of Ramsey, Rosen, Geoff Sprung, Brad Tursi, and Whit Sellers, which Rolling Stone Country notes is “building on the country-band blueprint set by the likes of Alabama and adding some fuzzy guitars, catchy licks and even a little rap that shoots for stadiums, not saloons” is on the road in 2016 on select headlining Meat and Candy Tour dates as well as direct support for Kenny Chesney on his Spread The Love Tour amphitheater, arena and shed dates as well as his stadium stops along with Miranda Lambert and Sam Hunt.

CONFEDERATE RAILROAD Featuring Willie Nelson, John Anderson and Colt Ford

CONFEDERATE RAILROAD BACK ON THE TRACKS WITH NEW ALBUM, 'LUCKY TO BE ALIVE,' AVAILABLE JULY 15

Project Features Special 20th Anniversary Version of "Trashy Women" Featuring Willie Nelson, John Anderson and Colt Ford

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 2, 2016) – Multi-platinum recording group Confederate Railroad is making their return to radio and retail with the upcoming album, Lucky To Be Alive. The project marks the first album release in nine years for the Grammy-nominated group, and will be released on July 15 to music retailers nationwide. The ACM award-winning band are also bringing the star power on the album, with guest appearances from Willie Nelson, John Anderson, Colt Ford and former NFL coach, Jerry Glanville, on a special 20th Anniversary version of the signature smash, “Trashy Women.”

Lead singer Danny Shirley observes, “Every night we play this song I am amazed and thankful at its staying power.”

In addition to the new, revamped version of “Trashy Women,” the highly anticipated album features all-new material. From the instantly catchy title track, to the feel-good anthem “If I Ever Cross That Line,” there is a perfect combination of intense ballads and infectious upbeat songs. Something new is that Danny is a writer on seven of the album’s tracks. The Blue Miller & Danny Shirley-produced album showcases the band’s unique style, bringing their southern–rock-meets-country-conscience front and center. “Fast Cars And Guitars” is another standout song, with a classic 90’s feel that will leave fans of traditional country music singing and dancing for days. It’s revved up by long-time friend of the band, Hall of Fame member, Charlie Daniels.

Another nod to Danny’s musical roots and ground-breaking track for Railroad is the shimmering bluegrass jewel “Don’t Feel As Young As I Used To” highlighted by guest artist Dan Tyminski of Union Station.

Confederate Railroad is hitting the road in support of Lucky To Be Alive, with a jam-packed spring/summer tour schedule (see dates below). Fans will be treated to performances some of their biggest hits including “Queen of Memphis” and “Daddy Never Was the Cadillac Kind,” along with new tracks from the upcoming album. Be sure to check out the country-rockers in a city near you, as they remind concertgoers of the hell-raising, good-time band they fell in love with 20 years ago.
