THOMAS RHETT SELLOUT

BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARD NOMINEE THOMAS RHETT NOTCHES FIRST-EVER DOUBLE SELLOUT AT ATLANTA’S WILD BILLS CAPTIVATING MORE
THAN 9,000 FANS

NASHVILLE, TN - Apr. 18, 2016 - ACM winner Thomas Rhett continues “pushing up against country music's boundaries” (Associated Press) while hosting the second of two sold-out headlining shows at Atlanta's Wild Bills (3/18 and 4/15) this weekend as the first artist to ever host double capacity crowds. The Georgia native's first date sold-out out in hours, prompting the addition of Friday's concert where every last ticket was snatched ahead of the show totaling more than 9,000 fans.

“Playing in Atlanta is something I always look forward to,” said Thomas Rhett. “But, to be asked to come back for a second night and for the fans to sell out both nights ahead of the shows is pretty crazy to me. I’d be lying if I pretended there wasn’t something special about Georgia crowds…their energy was undeniable and I’m already looking forward to figuring out when we can go back."

Proving he’s a "package deal" (CBS This Morning) on and off the road, Thomas Rhett recently earned a Billboard Music Award nomination for "Top Country Song” for his 2x Platinum No. One “Die A Happy Man,” which also nabbed an ACM Award for “Single Record of the Year” earlier this month.  As “one of country’s perennial 'next big things’” (Noisey), Thomas Rhett’s new single “T-Shirt,” off his sophomore album TANGLED UP (The Valory Music Co.), continues to escalade into the Top 15 at Country Radio while simultaneously earning Top 10 status on the Top Country Digital Songs chart this week. The multi-PLATINUM singer/songwriter will perform on the upcoming American Country Countdown Awards before continuing as direct support for Jason Aldean’s SIX STRING CIRCUS TOUR.

CHARLES KELLEY “SOARS” (ST. LOUIS DISPATCH)
ON FIRST WEEK OF THE DRIVER TOUR

Kelley Continues With West Coast Run in Anaheim, CA (4/23), San Jose, CA (4/24)
and Los Angeles (4/26) This Weekend

NASHVILLE, TN - Apr. 18, 2016 - Taking "a gritty, more intimate experience" (The Times-Picayune) to the road, GRAMMY winning singer/songwriter Charles Kelley completes his first week of THE DRIVER TOUR picked up by Enterprise. As the "Lady Antebellum frontman stretches his solo wings and soars" (St. Louis. Dispatch), his new single "Lonely Girl" from his debut album THE DRIVER (Capitol Records Nashville) has grabbed audiences attention for its "emotional, a little raw 60s ultra-lounge vibe" (The Augusta Chronicle). Leaving critics and fans "amazed at the kind of rapport" (The Press Enterprise) Kelley has with his fans, the singer along with special guest Josh Kelley will head to the West Coast this weekend including a sold-out show at Los Angeles' Troubadour (4/26).

“There’s nothing like being right there in it with the fans at these clubs,” said Kelley. “You never really know how the night is going to go when you step up on stage, but the energy has been unreal. It’s been really cool to feed off what the crowd is feeling and just go with it from night to night."

As Kelley "continues to stay true to himself — all while telling stories" (Albuquerque Journal) the singer/songwriter's new single "Lonely Girl" has been praised for its "soulful direction" (Rolling Stone). It succeeds his first-ever debut track "The Driver" which earned a GRAMMY nomination for "Best Country Duo/Group Performance" ahead of the album’s release. Produced by Paul Worley, THE DRIVER  explores new territory with a raw sound that pushes his vocals into a lower, grittier key. In addition to his success as part of seven-time GRAMMY award-winning trio Lady Antebellum, Kelley has also penned No. one hits recorded by Luke Bryan and Darius Rucker.

RASCAL FLATTS NO. ONE WITH “I LIKE THE SOUND OF THAT”

RASCAL FLATTS SCORE 16TH CAREER
NO. ONE AS COUNTRY RADIO AGREES
“I LIKE THE SOUND OF THAT”

Nashville, TN - April 18, 2016 - Superstar vocal group Rascal Flatts continue to add to their many accolades today as they celebrate their 16th career No. One as their infectious single “I Like The Sound Of That” reached the top of both the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase charts.  The smooth, catchy track that Rolling Stone dubbed as "sweetly reminiscent of the trio's early days” was penned by Jesse Frasure, with pop star Meghan Trainor and Shay Mooney of country duo Dan + Shay. The chart-topping single is taken from their current album, REWIND (Big Machine Records), which debuted at No. One on the Billboard Country Albums chart, making Rascal Flatts one of only four acts from the SoundScan era to have eight consecutive studio albums debut in the top spot.
“We've had a lot of fun with this single,” said Gary LeVox. “It’s a blessing and humbling to be achieving milestones such as these and it just motivates us even more to keep going on this crazy journey with our amazing fans.  A huge thank you to our friends at country radio and Big Machine family.  We can’t wait to catch everybody back out on the road this summer to celebrate.”
Offering fans a change of pace with an eclectic setup, which includes the trio playing alongside longtime drummer Jim Riley and new multi-instrumentalist Casey Brown, who with his keyboard and percussion work adds drama and volume to the set.  Rascal Flatts recently announced that their headlining RASCAL FLATTS: RHYTHM AND ROOTS TOUR will kick off in Charlotte, NC on 6/17 and the trio have invited red-hot newcomers Kelsea Ballerini and Chris Lane to join them out on the road. The best-selling country vocal group of the past decade Rascal Flatts has scored 16 No. One songs, sold over 23.1 million albums, over 31 million digital downloads worldwide to date. Rascal Flatts have earned over 40 trophies from the ACAs, ACMs, AMAs, CMAs, People's Choice Awards and more making them the most awarded country group of the past decade.

Country music humorist Randall Franks, "Officer Randy Goode" from TV's "In the Heat of the Night," recently debuted music and comedy from his upcoming Christian CD “Keep ‘Em Smilin’” at Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains, Ga. to an international congregation.
“Performing years ago for a Carter family gathering and grand marshaling the Plains Day Parade are some of my favorite memories of my entire career and I shared those experiences in my latest book Encouragers II,” Franks said. “I was so honored to join in study, worship, and sharing of musical gifts with the congregation at Maranatha including some old and many new friends. It was a blessing to be with the Carters again whose service greatly influenced my youth and inspired my desire to serve.”
Pastor Jeremy Shoulta shared a musically-themed sermon entitled “Why Sing” based on Colossians 3:12-17. Franks blended his fiddling, guitar and Appalachian dulcimer sounds with songs and humorous stories intertwining with the message and congregational hymns. Hymns were led by music leader Danny Ariail and supported by Maranatha musicians Carol Anderson and Jan Williams. The congregation included worshippers from China, Japan, Australia, U.K., Canada and within the U.S. from Hawaii to Washington, D.C. Former President Jimmy Carter taught a lesson on King Solomon and then joined in worship with former First Lady Rosalynn Carter. Also among the congregation was National Park Service Director Jon Jarvis.

Franks's latest book is “Encouragers II: Walking with the Masters” and his new CD “Keep ‘Em Smilin’” from Crimson Records will release in May.
