Kip Moore European Tour
Nashville, TN - January 19, 2016 - Multi-PLATINUM singer/songwriter Kip Moore announced today that he will be crossing the pond once more to play a string of headlining dates in the UK and Ireland as part of the second leg of his WILD ONES TOUR. Kicking off on 4/22 in Dublin, IE Moore's return to Europe follows a triumphant visit earlier last year where he stunned crowds at the O2 Arena in London ending his set with a poignant cover of native band Oasis’ “Don’t Look Back In Anger” with Rolling Stone revealing that the "highlight arrived toward the end of the song, when he took out his inner-ear monitors and led the 20,000-capacity through a singalong of the final chorus.” Moore’s shows in Europe will come hot on the heels of his first dates scheduled in Australia. For a full list of tour dates and more information visit www.kipmoore.net.
“I was blown away by the warmth and passion of the crowds when we played Europe last year," said Moore. "It felt like we were playing for old friends and I knew that I wanted to go back as soon as I could. And we're taking it a bit further, well a whole lot further, when we go to Australia for the first time. This whole journey started for me by getting out on the road and building fans one by one, so to be able to bring our show to some new places this year is really exciting.”

DIERKS BENTLEY LEADS WITH “SOMEWHERE ON A BEACH”
AS FIRST SINGLE AND 2016 TOUR
41-City Tour Launches in Europe and Returns to the US in May
with Randy Houser and Special Guest Cam
Bentley to Debut “Somewhere On A Beach” today on The Ellen DeGeneres Show
NASHVILLE, TN – Jan. 19 2016 – After announcing his eighth studio album BLACK, set for release in early 2016, Dierks Bentley ignites country radio today with the album’s lead single “Somewhere On A Beach.” The multi-PLATINUM entertainer also announced today that the US leg of his 2016 SOMEWHERE ON A BEACH TOUR will begin on May 12 in Holmdel, NJ at the PNC Bank Arts Center with Randy Houser and special guest Cam. Fans can purchase tickets beginning Jan. 29 for select cities as part of Live Nation’s Country Megaticket at www.Megaticket.com.
“This album is about ALL phases of a relationship, including the breakups,” said Bentley. ”’Beach’ is a pretty blunt take on that wild rebound we’ve all had or maybe imagined having. The carefree attitude is exactly the spirit we wanted to bring out on the road this year. I’ve toured with Randy before, and he’s just a great dude - on stage and backstage. And I’ve gotten to know Cam a little over the last year, and she’s fun as hell too and so talented. It’s going to be a big summer for sure."
While BLACK sets a new artistic course, it’s “Somewhere On A Beach” that first breaches the candid message of the highs and lows romantic relationships face. Fans can tune-in to begin the journey today (1/19) with Bentley's first performance of the song on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (check local listings).
2016 SOMEWHERE ON A BEACH TOUR CITIES:
Baton Rouge, LA
North Platte, NE
Fort Loramie, OH
Virginia Beach, VA
Saint Louis, MO
Mountain View, CA
San Diego, CA
Salt Lake City, UT
(Openers vary on festival dates)
Bentley sets the tone for this year's 2016 SOMEWHERE ON A BEACH TOUR by hand-selecting breakout Grammy nominee Cam who will kick things off before powerhouse vocalist Randy Houser takes the stage. Citi is the official credit card of Bentley’s 2016 SOMEWHERE ON A BEACH TOUR. Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets through Citi’s Private Pass Program. For complete presale details visit www.citiprivatepass.com.
Since moving from Phoenix to Nashville in the 1990s, Bentley has established his own artistic trail in country music. Instead of rehashing proven formulas, he’s doggedly reinvented his sound and subsequently developed an uncommon mix of commercial success and critical respect. RISER debuted at #1 on the Billboard country album chart, and its trio of chart-topping singles upped his career tally to 13 No one. songs as a songwriter and artist. He’s now amassed 13 GRAMMY nominations and dozens of other award show nominations. Additionally, Bentley has been a Grand Ole Opry member for over a decade and will co-host the 51st Annual ACM Awards this April on CBS. The Dark Before The Storm - New Banjo Music
The Dark Before The Storm - From Moville to Red Oak - Stumbling - Forever Yours - A Fine Day - Boys of Wexford/Scotland the Brave/Come
Dance and Sing - Limehouse Blues - Remembrance of You - Wind Chill - Blues For Shorty - In Your Face.
Phil Nusbaum is a Minnesotan who is a banjo player! Well, yes, that, but he's much more than 'just' a banjo player. He's a banjo player extraordinaire. He's a composer of music created for the banjo. He wrote six of the melodies on this CD. He's a music preservationist, his version of 'Stumbling' in the old New Orleans style proves that, as well as the Blue Sky Boys "Remembrance of You." He's an old-time vocalist, proven by his "Forever Yours" romantic ballad. He's a 'keeper of the flame' keeping old-time 20's style of music alive, listen to "Limehouse Blues" and you can immediately connect to that great music. He's also an improvisnationist a well-spelled word to describe his work on "In Your Face." Phil Nusbaum is all of these, and more. He incorporated his music with some incredibly gifted musicians. On the very first track, "The Dark Before The Storm" he melded his banjo with that of violinist (I would say fiddler but don't want to down-grade ability) Gary Shulte. He also does the same with guitarist Steve Howard, and uses both of these fine musicians on "In Your Face." Remarkable to say the least. In another of his compositions, he switches the fiddle to mandolin, an extremely good one too, Dwight Deason. He also swaps guitarists frequently in all of these sessions, lending a ton of atmosphere and quality to the entire project. I've always liked the 'banjo' as a musical instrument, it is so vitally important to bluegrass music, and Phil does a good job of keeping that particular style alive in his playing. But he also likes blues as well as the up-tempo of the 20's music. Makes for a very interesting and entertaining listen. Oh yes, by the way, Phil Nusbaum is also a shaker and mover on National Public Radio. Well, you probably already knew that. Off this very interesting CD goes to the Rural Roots Music Commission. Phil was inducted into America's Old Time Country Music Hall of Fame in 2015, wouldn't doubt he's going to get some more nice honor, memory, and respect coming his way.

THE BUFFALO GALS
Won't You Be Cruel to be Kind
Sweet Marie - Captain Had A Bulldog - No Good Crazy Woman - Jerusalem Ridge - I Left Her Standing There - Just A Closer Walk With Thee - Frankie - Greasy Coat - Won't You Be Cruel to be Kind - Falls of Richmond - Weary Blues From Waiting - I Wish You Knew - Patty on the Turnpike, Shady Grove - I'm A Wild and Restless Cowboy from the West - Sweet Bye and Bye
The Buffalo Gals are without a doubt the only singular group still playing today, that plays early old-timey country music, and what it was all about. Their sound is almost like taking a huge step into the past. It is so authentic I find it hard to tell the difference between what this English group is doing today from the earliest recordings of Appalachian mountain music, the very best of early American rural music. This is this group's third recorded project, and lest I forget I want you to know who is doing what. Kate Lissauer plays old-time fiddle (extremely well) and also plays banjo occasionally. Sooz Clare is on the ukulele (extremely well), Peter Dunn on guitar (extremely well), Eve Morris on bass (extremely well), Johnny Whelan on banjo (extremely well), and Sibylle Riesen on foot percussion (extremely well), a kind of step dancing with a microphone to capture it with. Interesting, and exciting to hear this music done so well. I really love Kate's version of 'Jerusalem Ridge.' This 'sound' must be very very similar to the earliest of the Monroe versions. Especially good for old-time fiddle, Kate does a 'just-right' interpretation of the music, just as it was handed down in the oral tradition. The melody "Frankie" is the only song recorded by Thomas, but more of his tunes have been found by private recording, and are now available through the Field Recorder's Collective, a project which aims to preserve and disseminate recordings from private field collections, and to make proceeds from their sales available to surviving musicians or to their families. Isn't that the 'way' of rural America, so incredibly different than so-called 'country' music of today. Wow, the 'difference' is just the opposite. I was very impressed with the Buffalo Gals version of the Hank Williams song "Weary Blues From Waiting" just as that early Appalachian mountain musician may have interpreted it. Simply wonderful. Patsy Montana was a very close friend of mine, so an added treat to listening to this CD was the Buffalo Gals version of Patsy's song "I'm A Wild and Restless Cowboy from the West." Good foot percussion here as well as yodeling. The Buffalo Gals are already up for a "CD of the Year" award from the Rural Roots Music Commission, but I will be forwarding this one to them anyway. This wonderful old-timey group from England is going to be on the main stage of the LeMars, Iowa, festival, the 41st one of this high-ranking upper Midwest festival. Dates are Aug 29-Sept 4, mark your calendar and come hear this amazing group keeping America's old-time rural and mountain music alive, along with 500 or so additional performers.
