About Country's Family Reunion
Gabriel Communications, started in 1996 by long-time disc jockey Larry Black, is the producer of the popular Country’s Family Reunion and Larry’s Country Diner series. Black first applied the “Reunion” concept to the legends of country music in 1997. The idea was simple: bring America’s most-treasured artists together into one room to reunite and reminisce about their careers, perform signature songs and share stories while the cameras roll. The result has been pure magic, documenting hundreds of stories and performances that would have otherwise been lost. The series’ popularity has led to top-rated shows on RFD-TV and wildly successful DVD sales, spurring the creation of more than a dozen more projects and Country’s Family Reunion News (a monthly newspaper that highlights the music of yesteryear), as well as giving rise to sold-out theatre shows and ocean cruises by the ever-growing fan base.

OLD DOMINION TAPPED FOR NPR FIRST LISTEN

OLD DOMINION TAPPED FOR NPR FIRST LISTEN

Contemporary country music has gotten an especially bad rap in recent years, routinely dismissed by outside observers as mindless, artless, suburban party fare. If ever there was a band equipped to challenge those characterizations, it's Old Dominion” - NPR Music

NASHVILLE, Tenn.  (Oct. 30, 2015) – As anticipation grows for the November 6 release of Old Dominion’s debut album Meat and Candy fans are getting an early listen of the high-energy debut album via NPR Music’s First Listen
Leading into release week Old Dominion, the band that Billboard says is “helping to usher in a new wave of country” also has the No. 2 and still rising song at country radio; “Break Up with Him.” The hit song was recently certified GOLD by the RIAA and shows no sign of stopping.
With the excitement of their debut album being a week away before its release Old Dominion, who NPR names as “one of country music's few current, self-contained bands” will do what they do best, perform for fans. The band will attend the ASCAP Country Awards on Monday, November 9, as well as the 49th Annual CMA Awards on Wednesday, November 11 and then head back out on the road for shows in Mobile and Tuscaloosa, AL, Winston Salem, NC, Indianapolis, Kansas City and then wrap up the full release week in Los Angeles on Thursday, November 12.
No stranger to the road, by the end of 2015 Old Dominion will have performed over 170 shows which includes 18 stadium dates opening up for Kenny Chesney this summer on the Big Revival Tour. Furthermore, the band that’s comprised of lead singer Matthew Ramsey, multi-instrumentalist Trevor Rosen, drummer Whit Sellers, bassist Geoff Sprung and lead guitarist Brad Tursi will join Kenny Chesney head back out on the road in 2016 on Chesney’s Spread The Love Tour.
