Russ Marsh takes flight on the International airwaves!

"I wanna be your love song" latest release from Russ Marsh, takes flight on the International airwaves!

Songwriter, recording artist & entertainer, Russ Marsh is a former Marine, with a great love for his country & fellow Americans. Besides being a vibrant & dynamic performer, leaving his audience energized & inspired, he touches the heart & souls of countless listeners with his original lyrics & music through his CD's: A-M-E-R-I-C-A, Walking in the Footsteps of Your Mind & his latest album, Lonely Without A Song.

Russ has had many wonderful experiences through his years as a performer. From world fairs, to patriotic events, Russ Marsh has made a difference in the lives of many, through his music. He was the winner of a four-state contest through KSOP Radio. He has shared the spotlight with Marty Robins, Mel Tillis, Roy Drusky, Billy Armstrong, Hank Thompson, Judy Lynn, Jean Sheppard, Tex Williams & Tom Smothers (of the Smothers Brothers), to name a few. Marsh has been named Utah Entertainer of the Year & continues to perform at numerous high profile benefits & charities.

With the A-M-E-R-I-C-A album, Russ Marsh keeps the patriotic flame burning brighter in every American’s heart. He has had the privilege of performing his touching ballad America Forever at the White House & Don’t Tread on Old Glory was the first song ever to be read into the Congressional Record (1989). Another song which he composed, I’m Walking in the Footsteps of Your Mind, was the last request & final song played for Gary Gilmore, the first man to be executed in 25 years in Utah. The song was mentioned in the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, “The Executioner’s Song” written by Norman Mailer. The songs from his soon to be released CD album, Lonely Without A Song are delightful, invigorating, mellow & warm; with each song pulling at your heart strings. The first release from this album is Russ’ version of Doug Kershaw’s Louisiana Man followed by his original compositions Talkin’, It’s Only Me It’s Only You, When Push Comes to Shove, and We’re American Made which have all made it to the Digital Radio Tracker’s National Top 200, Top 50 Independent, Top 50 Adult Contemporary, Top 50 Rock and Top 50 Country charts.

Besides writing patriotic songs, he also writes & sings about finding love, dreams, God & more. He sings clear-voiced & honest, with free flowing melodies & a can’t-sit-still beat. Russ is also a down-home kind of guy. He loves people & has often said, “You learn a lot from traveling & meeting people. I guess the most important thing is that people everywhere have a lot in common…their joys, their dreams, their tragedies & their hope for a better tomorrow.” His talents have caught the eye of publicist to the stars Danie Cortese of Danie Cortese Entertainment, who is currently taking his music career to the next level.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (October 22, 2015) – Country rockers Exile will celebrate the Christmas season with a new album, Wrapped Up In Your Arms for Christmas, as well as a concert Thursday, December 17 at the historic Franklin Theatre which will feature new holiday music and the band’s decades of hits.

After celebrating more than 50 years as a group, Exile will release their first Christmas album in late-November. “We’ve been talking about doing a Christmas album for years and we’re excited that we finally have been able to reach that goal,” said keyboardist Marlon Hargis.

Exile’s CD release concert will benefit the Southern Alliance for People and Animal Welfare (SAFPAW), a non-profit organization in middle Tennessee helping the homeless community face the daily challenges of living in poverty with their pets.

This will be the second year in a row that Exile has performed at the Franklin Theatre to benefit the organization. They have generously donated their time and talent to help raise funds and awareness for the mission of SAFPAW. In addition to the concert, there will be a silent auction featuring autographed memorabilia and hand written lyrics by Sonny Lemaire and Pat Boone.

“We are so grateful for the generosity of Exile and the awareness and financial support this event provides for the important work of SAFPAW in Middle Tennessee,” said Lee Ann Dichtel, SAFPAW Chairman of the Board. “This is the second year for this great event and it truly will be a great night of entertainment for a great cause!”

Exile has a history with the historic venue. The band recorded a live album at the Franklin Theatre, released last year, and a DVD “Exile - Live at the Franklin Theater.” They are excited to do the event again this year after successfully raising thousands of dollars last year for SAFPAW.
