HUNTER HAYES SET TO RELEASE THE 21 PROJECT ON NOVEMBER 6

Special three-disc set will feature a unique blend of acoustic, studio and live recordings of seven new songs including Hayes’ current single, “21”

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Oct. 13, 2015) – Hunter Hayes has been exploring different ways to share new music with fans throughout the summer, and on Friday, Nov. 6 the Atlantic / Warner Music Nashville artist will offer up his latest creation with the release of The 21 Project. Featuring three discs – one acoustic, one studio and one live – the special collection will showcase the life of seven songs through each variation. Tracks will include Hayes’ current Top 25-and-climbing single, “21,” as well as a brand new song, “I Mean You.”

“This project has been a lot of fun for me, because it really brings the focus back to the music and shows how a song grows from its original form into something we play on stage,” said Hayes, who co-produced The 21 Project with Dann Huff. “We’re making our fall tour all about the music and connecting with fans in a closer setting, and just enjoying music together.”

The 21 Project is available for pre-order now at http://smarturl.it/HH21ProjectPR with a track listing as follows:

1.“21” (Dallas Davidson, Kelley Lovelace, Ashley Gorley, Hunter Hayes)
2.“Young And In Love” (Hunter Hayes, Dan Omelio, Dave Barnes)
3.“Saint Or A Sinner” (Hunter Hayes, Lori McKenna, Barry Dean)
4.“Where It All Begins (feat. Lady Antebellum)” (Hunter Hayes, Charles Kelley, Dave Haywood, Hillary Scott)
5.“Suitcase” (Hunter Hayes, Ashley Gorley, Ross Copperman)
6.“The Trouble With Love” (Lori McKenna, Hunter Hayes)
7.“I Mean You” (Hunter Hayes, Jimmy Robbins, Ashley Gorley)

Hayes will embark on his 21 Tour on October 22, playing a limited run of dates. The always-innovative entertainer collaborated with Spotify to help route his upcoming tour, targeting college markets with high densities of fans who stream Hayes’ music. Current dates for the 21 Tour include:

Ladies' Night, November 10 @ 3rd & Lindsley

The Pen Fund: Inspired By Hank Cochran Presents
Songwriters 4 Songwriters - Ladies' Night,
November 10 @ 3rd & Lindsley
Matraca Berg, Marla Cannon-Goodman, Kalisa Ewing, Erin Enderlin & Special Guests To Spin Magic For Songwriters With Pancreatic Cancer

Nashville, TN (October 13, 2015) - The Pen Fund: Inspired By Hank Cochran Presents Songwriters 4 Songwriters - Ladies' Night on Tuesday, November 10 at 3rd & Lindsley.  Tickets are $20 online and $25 day of show; the doors open at 6 p.m. and the music starts at 7:30 p.m.  For those who cannot attend the show, donations can be made directly to The Pen Fund at www.thepenfund.org or by logging on to your PayPal Account.  The lineup boasts a remarkable array of talent that includes:

Matraca Berg - Native Nashvillian and NSAI Hall of Fame member Berg's songs have been sung by Randy Travis, Faith Hill, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Linda Ronstadt, Tanya Tucker, Pam Tillis, Keith Urban, Loretta Lynn and dozens of others. "The Last One to Know," "I'm That Kind of Girl," "Wild Angels" and "You And Tequila" are among the more than 200 recordings of her songs - making Matraca one of the most recorded composers in Music City.  In 1997, her Gary Harrison co-write "Strawberry Wine" was named Song of the Year by both the Country Music Association and the NSAI.  The two-time Grammy nominee has earned a dozen BMI songwriter awards, is a gifted performer in her own right, and was one of Hank's favorite songwriters.

Erin Enderlin - Erin has had songs recorded by artists Alan Jackson, Lee Ann Womack, Luke Bryan, Joey + Rory, and Tyler Farr, including the award-winning singles "Monday Morning Church" and "Last Call."  A featured artist on the Willie Nelson Country Throwdown Tour in 2011, the Arkansas native has opened shows for Marty Stuart, Kip Moore, and Diamond Rio, and performed at the Grand Ole Opry, the famed Ryman Auditorium and Billy Bob's Texas.

Kalisa Ewing - A native Tennessean, Kalisa's songs have been recorded by Kelly Clarkson and Kellie Pickler, and been showcased on and included in the Season 2 soundtrack of the popular television show, NASHVILLE.  She recently performed on the Grand Ole Opry At The Ryman, and shared the stage with Loretta Lynn in May.  Her sweet Country voice and hauntingly beautiful lyrics drove her to follow in the footsteps of her late grandfather, who moved to Music City in 1972 to pursue his dreams.

Marla Cannon-Goodman - Marla grew up surrounded by some of the greatest songwriters in the business, including her father, songwriter/producer Buddy Cannon.  Her first cut, "The Fool," recorded by LeeAnn Womack, hit #1 on the Country charts, jump-starting a career that features recordings by Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, George Strait, Sammy Kershaw, Billy Currington, Eric Church, and many others.  She has reached #1 with two more songs: "Ten Rounds of Jose Cuervo" by Tracy Byrd and "Cleaning This Gun" by Rodney Atkins.

In addition to these singer/songwriters, several "special guests" will be on hand.

Created in honor of NSAI Hall of Fame and Grammy award-winner Hank Cochran, who passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2010, the Fund raised over $11,000 with its first benefit in July.  This show promises to match the excitement of that inaugural event - and supporters hope that the reasonable ticket price will pack the house.  "These are among the premiere songwriters in Nashville," notes Booth Calder Cochran, co-founder of TPF.  "That they all happen to be women - and great entertainers - would delight Hank!"

The death rate for pancreatic cancer is an astonishing 93%; treatment can bankrupt families and worries over financial matters create their own problems.  "The goal of the Fund is to lend direct assistance to songwriters who are affected by this cancer," states Booth.  "We would love to help further research and see early diagnostic testing implemented, but right now our main focus has to be on those who have already been stricken with this deadly disease."

GEORGE STRAIT’S COLD BEER CONVERSATION TOPS SOUNDSCAN AND BILLBOARD COUNTRY ALBUMS CHARTS

GEORGE STRAIT’S COLD BEER CONVERSATION TOPS SOUNDSCAN AND BILLBOARD COUNTRY ALBUMS CHARTS

Album sales remain strong with more than 100,000 in sales and counting as critics continue to hail the “King of Country Music’s” latest project

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Oct. 12, 2015) – George Strait is riding high at the top of Soundscan and Billboard’s country albums charts this week, powering into the No. 1 position on both with his latest MCA Nashville release, Cold Beer Conversation. The album – Strait’s 29th studio album and 26th to top the country charts – has sold more than 112,000 copies to date and been hailed by critics as “classic, by-the-book George Strait . . . the best effort from a mainstream male artist that country music has seen, well, since the last George Strait album” (Dallas Observer) and “another gem to one of country music's deepest, most entertaining catalogs” (Associated Press). The New York Times notes that Cold Beer Conversation “finds Mr. Strait at his most pulpy and resonant.”

Strait’s new music has resonated not only with fans, but also with the “King of Country Music” himself as he prepares to launch an exclusive concert series at the Las Vegas Arena opening in April 2016. All six dates for his “Strait to Vegas” run are currently sold out, with more shows to be added to accommodate the overwhelming demand. GRAMMY, ACM and CMA Award-winning singer/songwriter Kacey Musgraves will join Strait as support on all dates.

With 60 No. 1 singles and nearly 70 million records sold, Strait has more No. 1 songs than any other artist and is third only to Elvis Presley and The Beatles with the most Gold and Platinum albums in history. He is the most-nominated artist in CMA Awards history and was the first country music artist honored with Billboard’s “Legend Of Live” Award.
