Oak Ridge Boys: Christmas Night Out
Legendary award-winning, hit-making group celebrate Christmas with timeless hits and holiday favorites
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (October 6, 2015) – Grammy Award-winning music legends, The Oak Ridge Boys, will once again celebrate the Christmas season with timeless hits and holiday classics on their 26th Annual Christmas Night Out Tour, coming to a city near you. The almost two-hour holiday show transports concertgoers into Winter Wonderland with fan-favorite hits and Christmas tunes new and old, beautiful sets, falling snow—and even a special visit from Santa Claus himself.

“There is nothing quite like an Oak Ridge Boys Christmas Show. This tour has become an Oak Ridge Boys tradition and is a tremendous experience for the entire family. With a revamped stage and a fresh approach, this year’s show will be a dynamic mix of music representing every aspect of Christmas from presents and snow, to romance and Santa Claus, on to the real meaning of the season celebrating the birth of Jesus,” said The Oak Ridge Boys’ Joe Bonsall.

Each year The Oak Ridge Boys’ Christmas tour plays to packed houses across America. The 2015 Christmas Night Out Tour will take the group to more than two-dozen cities in nineteen states, from the East to West Coast, mid-November through December 23.

The group—Richard Sterban, Duane Allen, William Lee Golden and Joe Bonsall—have earned prestigious membership in the Country Music Hall of Fame (2015 Inductees) and Grand Ole Opry, among other designations. Known worldwide as one of recording history’s most extraordinary musical successes, they have charted single after single and album after album, celebrating over 41 million records sold, two double-platinum albums, and more than 30 Top 10 hits, including No. 1 chart-toppers “Elvira,” “Bobbie Sue,” “Thank God For Kids,” “American Made,” among dozens more.

A mixture of traditional and contemporary songs—including religious, romantic, and fun holiday tunes—makes up the set list, which includes songs from the Oaks’ six bestselling Christmas CDs.

Bonsall added, “Folks can expect to hear old favorites like ‘White Christmas’ and ‘Jingle Bells’ mixed with some very poignant newer songs like ‘Getting Ready for A Baby’ and ‘Mary Did You Know.’ A highlight of the evening is the much-loved ‘rocking chair’ segment where each BOY rocks by the fireplace and shares personal thoughts about Christmas. So we hope you’ll come out and see us… and Merry Christmas!”

LOCASH: I Love This Life
Six-Track E.P. Available Digitally Nationwide on October 30
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (October 5, 2015) – Village Voice calls them “seasoned songwriters in detailing the carefree Southern lifestyle,” and Entrepreneur Magazine writes, “They bring to the stage an amazing and sincere energy unlike anything [we've] ever seen at a concert before.” Sure enough, the rising duo LOCASH has wowed critics and crowds nationwide on their I Love This Life Tour, and catapulted the radio charts with the highest charting single of their career, “I Love This Life,” coming in at No. 23 on the Country Billboard radio charts this week and surpassing 100,000 downloads. Now, on the heels of it all, LOCASH announces the release of their new six-track E.P., I Love This Life, on Friday, October 30 featuring the hit radio single, as well as fan-favorites like "Shipwrecked" and "I Know Somebody."

The I Love This Life E.P. will be released on Reviver Records and was produced by Lindsay Rimes and David Ross. It will be available at the end of the month as a digital download nationwide on iTunes, Amazon and other online retailers.

"I cannot wait for the current and future LOCASH fans to hear what we have been working so hard on. It's a new and established sound for us. Something fresh, with the LOCASH flavor and the roots of country music," said the duo's Chris Lucas.

Preston Brust added, "This new project captures real feelings mixed with melodies we hope everyone can relate and sing along to. We are in a really great place in life and I think these songs are windows into our lives right now. I couldn't be more excited or more proud of it!"

The track listing for I Love This Life includes:
1.) “I Love This Life” (P. Brust, C. Janson, C. Lucas, D. Myrick)
2.) “I Know Somebody” (R. Copperman, J. Stover, R. Akins)
3.) “Shipwrecked” (P. Brust, M. Tyler, L. Rimes)
4.) “Aint Startin Tonight” (P. Brust, J. Boyer, M. Tyler)
5.) “Drunk Drunk” (P. Brust, C. Lucas, B. Niemi, S. Stokes)
6.) “Till The Wheels Fall Off” (P. Brust, J. Boyer, M. Bronleewe)

Five out of the six songs on the new E.P. were penned by Brust, Lucas or both. Stand-out track, "Shipwrecked,"-- the song which influenced the name of their signature wine line developed in partnership with Stonum Vineyards — particularly presents a new musical dimension to LOCASH.

"I had been listening to a lot of John Legend at the time, so I wanted a song that sounded like John Legend, with some guitar in it, but I wanted the lyrics to be really honest," the duo's Preston Brust told The Boot. "A lot of people, when they're interviewing us, they'll ask a fun question and it's always the same: 'If you're shipwrecked on an island, what's the one thing you have to have?' And so, I sat down at the piano, and I said [to myself] 'You know what, here's what I've got to have.' You've got to hear the song to find out, but it's really cool. It's a really cool song," he added.

LOCASH also recently premiered the new music video for “I Love This Life” on all CMT platforms including CMT Pure, CMT Artists App, and social media sites on August 26. Produced by Channel Greatness with direction by Stokes Nielson, the video is a montage of the duo in the stunning red rocks of Garden Of The Gods, Colorado, pieced with documentary-style footage of life on the road with fans.

I Love This Life is LOCASH's first new album release since their self-titled debut in 2013. As songwriters, they’ve celebrated a pair of hit singles with “You Gonna Fly” (by Keith Urban), which topped the charts, and the Top 10 “Truck Yeah” (by Tim McGraw), among others for artists like Joe Nichols, Parmalee and Scotty McCreery. Get the duo's full career backstory in their new EPK.

Kellie Pickler, Jerrod Niemann, Love & Theft, Blackjack Billy, LOCASH, Lucas Hoge and More Set to Perform at Island Time Music and Fishing Fest

Nashville Heads to Mexico to Benefit the Children of the Little Yellow Schoolhouse
ISLA MUJERES, Q.R., Mexico (October 5, 2015) – The island paradise of Isla Mujeres will welcome an informal delegation of Nashville musicians, singers, and songwriters — along with fans, fun lovers, and fishermen -- for The Island Time Music and Fishing Fest, February 15-20, 2016. This year’s performance lineup includes both promising and pedigreed artists and an appealing mixture of styles, genres, and repertoires. A partial list of those songwriters and entertainers scheduled to appear includes (in no particular order) Kellie Pickler, Jerrod Niemann, Blackjack Billy, Love & Theft, LOCASH, Lucas Hoge, Kyle Jacobs, American Young, Nick Norman, Natalie Stovall, Lewis Brice, Joal Rush, Hailey Steele, Rob Hatch, and Ryan Rickman.

“These artists, musicians, and songwriters are donating their time for this cause”, notes Skip Bishop of Studio 1Bee Entertainment, one of many “Isla-Holics” who live in Nashville and visit the island several times a year. “And unless they’re family members, music fans will never have access to performers of this caliber like they will have this week.”

The event’s six day schedule features a series of intimate, live performances in local venues (including a luxurious private residence) along with a fishing tournament that coincides with the winter migration of sailfish to the local waters.

“There’s not another gathering like this anywhere else in the Caribbean,” observes Chris Shannon of island-based Mundaca Real Estate. The Canadian businessman, who has made his home in Isla Mujeres for over a decade and spearheads fundraising for the school, says “The music, the people, the spirit of the locals and the natural beauty of this place--it all comes together for one incredible week. The money we raise keeps the Little Yellow Schoolhouse going and growing.”

Proceeds from event tickets, the fishing tournament, an online memorabilia auction, and sales of commemorative merchandise will fund the operations of the Little Yellow Schoolhouse, which provides services to the special needs children of Isla Mujeres at no charge.

Bundled tickets for the event range from $199 to $249 per person and additional pricing for select events is also available. Complete information on the Island Time Music and Fishing Festival, along with a link to purchase tickets, can be found at

About The Little Yellow Schoolhouse
The Little Yellow School House in Isla Mujeres began with one room, six students and a really big dream. Thanks to generous donors, and years of support from the Island Time Music and Fishing Festival, the school now has six classrooms, full-time teachers and over 50 students. The school has achieved a 70% success rate of returning local special needs children to traditional school environments. The school seeks funding to provide enrollment for the 15 students on the island of Isla Mujeres who currently cannot attend the school due to a lack of funds.

More Dates to be Added as Fans Continue to Demand More From the “King of Country Music”

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Oct. 2, 2015) – Fans were ecstatic when George Strait announced that he would be heading to Sin City for an exclusive concert series at the Las Vegas Arena in 2016 and releasing his new album, Cold Beer Conversation, last week. The demand for new music from Strait translated to an immediate sellout of all six dates of his “Strait to Vegas” run after tickets went on sale today, with more dates to be added. The staggering response from fans already prompted Strait to add two shows to the series, which is currently scheduled for April 22, April 23, September 9, September 10, December 2 and December 3, 2016. GRAMMY, ACM and CMA Award-winning singer/songwriter Kacey Musgraves will join him as support for the full run.

With the release of the 13-track Cold Beer Conversation, fans and critics alike have made it known that the “King of Country Music” remains at the top of his game. The Plain Dealer proclaims that “the hardest part about reviewing George Strait's surprise new album, Cold Beer Conversation, is deciding which of the 13 tracks to gush over first” and describes the instantly relatable title cut, which is also the lead single at country radio now, as “a great little ditty about ‘a couple of ol' boys’ just sharing a few brews, reminiscing about high school football, worrying about aging parents and trying to figure out the world.”

The Associated Press notes, “Cold Beer Conversation is vintage Strait. He has such a strong vocal presence… the highlights prove that Strait remains at the top of his game: From the casual way he captures a meaningful talk between buddies on the title cut to the melodic intimacy of ‘Let It Go’ to the jaunty swing of ‘It Takes All Kinds,’ the album adds another gem to one of country music's deepest, most entertaining catalogs” and Billboard echoes that reverence, observing that “the key to Strait’s success is that he brings a different flavor and nuance to each song, even if the subject matter is similar. More than 30 years since his MCA Nashville debut (he’s still on the same label after all these decades), his smooth tenor is as clear as ever and each subtlety -- a well-placed chuckle, a tiny sigh -- still resonates.”

Cold Beer Conversation is available now at Apple Music and Walmart.

With 60 No. 1 singles and nearly 70 million records sold, Strait is the most-nominated artist in CMA Awards history and was the first country music artist honored with Billboard’s “Legend Of Live” Award. His last show, which took place at AT&T Stadium on June 7, 2014, shattered the North American attendance record for an indoor concert with 104,793 ticket-holders.

About John Berry
During his star-making decade, John Berry placed 20 singles on the county hit parade. He earned Gold and Platinum records. He was nominated for a Grammy Award, CMA Awards and ACM Awards. Berry’s co-written “A Mind of Her Own” and “Kiss Me in the Car” introduced him to radio audiences in 1993. Then “Your Love Amazes Me,” “What’s in It for Me” and “You and Only You” thrust him to stardom in 1994. “Standing on the Edge of Goodbye,” “I Think About it All the Time,” and “If I Had Any Pride Left at All” were all major hits the following year, and the first-named earned John Berry a 1995 Grammy nomination. Berry took “Change My Mind” into the country-music top-5 in 1996. “She’s Taken a Shine” became an even bigger hit in 1997. Both fans and the media took note when “There He Goes” was released as a 1999 “duet” with Patsy Cline.

Country Artist Shatters Songwriting Stereotypes with Use of his Nose and Releases Debut Album

Country Artist Shatters Songwriting Stereotypes with Use of his Nose and Releases Debut Album

Country artist Shane Michael Taylor has been writing songs since the day he taught himself to type with his nose at the tender age of five. Now, after decades of overcoming the daily challenges of living with severe cerebral palsy, Shane is releasing his highly-anticipated debut album. This project entitled I Will Stand is available today at
Shane co-wrote all of the album’s 13 songs, which have been brought to life with the help of top-notch Music City vocalists like MCA Nashville’s Clare Dunn and chart-topping pop icon Tiffany.
Complete with upbeat honky-tonk tunes about a good night out (“Alcohol of Fame”), inspirational songs about not overlooking life’s tiny miracles (“Everyday Heroes”) and honest lyrics that celebrate traditional country values and the importance of family (“We Get to Live It”), this album is already garnering positive industry reviews.
"There are dozens and dozens of songwriters in Nashville but none with a story as inspiring as Shane Michael Taylor's. I Will Stand is an incredible, beautiful accomplishment."
M.B. Roberts, Senior Features Editor, Parade Magazine
Shane has been defying odds his whole life. It was after earning bachelor’s degrees in Music Business and Sound Engineering that he began making many trips to Nashville from his hometown of Waterbury, CT to co-write with prominent songwriters and develop material for I Will Stand
“I’m so excited to finally share my songs and stories with the world,” says Shane, who navigates the world in a wheelchair and struggles to communicate verbally. “I hope I can inspire others to pursue their dreams no matter what obstacles they may face.”
In addition to his music career, Shane travels the country as a motivational figure and has penned an inspirational audio book entitled Living This Rodeo, where he explains how learning to type with his nose changed his life and allowed him to build his career and live his dream.

Nashville, Tenn.  (October 2, 2015)  -  Since being dubbed "The New Queen of Bluegrass" by the Wall Street Journal, Rhonda Vincent has evolved as one of the most decorated musicians in the genre's history. Last night, her peers once again proclaimed her as "Female Vocalist of the Year" at the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Awards. Vincent is no stranger to this honor, having won this exact award an unprecedented 7-consecutive years in a row from 2000 to 2006. This win comes after a record-setting year of touring for Rhonda Vincent & The Rage, as they brought their 2015 World Tour to more audiences than ever before, while traveling throughout North American and into Europe.
" was a great night, sitting around with family at the lake, listening to the IBMA Awards via the internet, and hearing my name called as Female Vocalist of the Year!" says Rhonda Vincent. "We will be celebrating this weekend in Branson, Missouri at the Starlite Theater," Rhonda continues. "It's been an incredible year, and I am so honored to work with amazing musicians, and travel the world playing the music we love!"  "Special thanks to our friends in the World of Bluegrass who shared their votes for this award!"
IBMA's 26th Annual International Bluegrass Music Awards took place on Oct. 1 in Raleigh, N.C. at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts. Known as Bluegrass music's biggest night of the year, the show honors the most outstanding talent and achievements of the year. The Gibson Brothers hosted the event as part of IBMA's 2015 World of Bluegrass event, presented by Chiesi USA, and hosted by the city of Raleigh from Sept. 29 - Oct. 3.
Vincent is also gearing up for her brand new holiday album, Christmas Time, set for release on Oct. 30. The project includes a combination of holiday favorites, along with new tracks penned by Vincent herself, with a standout celebrity version of "Twelve Days of Christmas." Calling upon some of her closest Country friends to record on the track, it features vocal contributions from Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Charlie Daniels, The Oak Ridge Boys and more (see track listing below). There's something for everyone this Christmas, with fun upbeat songs, along with warm holiday ballads.
