Christmas with T. Graham Brown

Rock around the Christmas tree with T. Graham Brown

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (September 29, 2015) – Christmas music this year will have a soulful Country sound, with the upcoming album from T. Graham Brown.  The Country chart-topper will release his very first holiday album, Christmas with T. Graham Brown, on October 3.  The perfect stocking- stuffer will be released by Mansion Entertainment and distributed by Sony RED Distribution.  The project was produced by T. Graham Brown and Tony Griffith.

"I love Christmas!  Christmas music makes everyone happy,” said an excited Brown. “We hope this album makes you happy and that you'll play it all season long, every year. Merry Christmas!"

Brown chose 11 songs, a combination of classic and new tracks, which he hopes will bring the Christmas spirit to friends and fans everywhere.  Standout tracks include the feel good standards, "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and “I'll Be Home for Christmas," which blends perfectly with Brown's unique style.  You'll find a few up-tempo choices to energize the holiday rush and make you feel like dancin' and singin' along. There's a rockin' "Run Run Rudolph," and a fun fantasy tune, "Santa Claus is Comin' in a UFO," penned by T., his wife, Sheila and their son, Acme.  There's a little "Merry" music for every Christmas music fan on Christmas with T. Graham Brown.

The future holiday classic is the follow-up to Brown's 2015 Grammy nominated project, Forever Changed.  The Country/Gospel/R&B collection was produced by Brown and Mark Carman. It features collaborations with some of T. Graham's closest friends, including Vince Gill, The Oak Ridge Boys, Jimmy Fortune, Sonya Isaacs and many others. The album marked a triumphant return to the studio for Brown, after a 9 year hiatus. It was met with great critical acclaim from the music industry, critics and fans, securing features in Country Weekly, Billboard, CMT and many more.

Brandon Jenkins’ Has “Magical” Time In Nashville

Brandon Jenkins’ Has “Magical” Time In Nashville,
Performs Songs from Upcoming Blue Bandana

NASHVILLE, Tennessee — In his performance to a standing room only crowd last week at Nashville hotspot Acme Feed & Seed, Red Dirt Legend Brandon Jenkins played songs from his upcoming new release, Blue Bandana, and two of his songs that will appear on the forthcoming new release from  fellow red dirt artist Stoney LaRue.

Appearing with just his guitar, the burly singer captivated his audience with songs from his new Blue Bandana, including “Black Mood Ring,” “Under the Shadow of the Refinery,” “Send Down an Angel,” and the title track.

“I got in town Sunday night, and was able to experience something that is so Nashville while I was here,” he said.  “Over three days, I wrote with seven different songwriters. The creative energy was tremendous. It was magical.”

He also performed two songs from pal Stoney LaRue’s forthcoming album, Us Time.  Jenkins’ songs, “Feet Don’t Touch The Ground” and “Til The Morning Comes,” have become standards in LaRue’s recent live shows.

Jenkins’ Blue Bandana was recorded over a two day period at producer Dave Percefull’s Yellow Dog studio in Wimberley, Texas.  The album is comprised of raw, unfiltered tracks and mixes that reflect Jenkins’ unflinching songs and signature vocal, leaving the scars not many artists are prepared to expose when recording.

The final product is perhaps his finest to date and gives his fans and newly exposed listeners a unique experience of hearing an album that has been recorded with a live performance attitude capturing the emotion of the artist in his unrestrained creative nature with the flaws and mistakes others try to hide.

Known as the “Red Dirt Legend” by his fans and the Red Dirt / Texas Music community, Jenkins is known for his unique songwriting style and  musicianship.  Throughout his 20 + year music career he has been a mainstay on festival and listening rooms stages throughout the US and Europe, had multiple hits on the influential Texas Music Radio Charts and written hits for others.

Beginning his career as a fresh-faced kid in his hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1994 to being the bearded, tattooed man currently residing Austin, Texas, Jenkins has never strayed from writing and singing songs filled with honesty, soul, emotion, and never shied away from facing his own demons when composing songs for himself and others.

Penning Red Dirt classics like the hard edged “Finger On The Trigger” to one of the most played and requested love songs “My Feet Don’t Touch The Ground” are testimonies to his diverse songwriting capabilities and recorded performances.

CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAYS WITH “CMA COUNTRY CHRISTMAS”

CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAYS WITH “CMA COUNTRY CHRISTMAS”

Two-Hour Special Tapes Saturday, Nov. 7 at Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville
Nashville Audience Encouraged to Bring an Unwrapped Toy to the Taping to Make the Holidays Brighter for Area Children in Need
NASHVILLE – Some of the most powerful and emotionally moving voices in music come together to celebrate the holidays on “CMA Country Christmas,” which tapes in front of a live audience Saturday, Nov. 7 (6:00 PM/CT; doors open at 5:00 PM/CT), at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. The special airs this holiday season on the ABC Television Network.
“The special will tape on a new day and in a new venue this year,” said Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer. “The Opry was the home of the CMA Awards for many years and it is nice to be back. And taping the show on Saturday is more convenient for Nashville families who have made this part of their holiday traditions.”
Another popular feature of the taping is a toy drive for deserving children. In 2014, through a partnership with ABC Television Network and the U.S. Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots program, CMA collected more than 5,000 unwrapped gifts for deserving children in the region.
“Providing new toys for deserving children shines a spotlight on a worthy endeavor and reflects the values and spirit of giving found in our artists, industry, and city,” Trahern said.

Chris Stapleton Joins New Year’s Eve Lineup in Nashville

CMA Nominee Chris Stapleton Joins New Year’s Eve Lineup
Six Acts – Including Headliner Kings of Leon – at 2015 Jack Daniel’s Bash on Broadway will be Most Ever to Perform

NASHVILLE – CMA-nominated singer-songwriter Chris Stapleton will join headliner Kings of Leon at the 2015 Jack Daniel’s Bash on Broadway: New Year’s Eve in Music City (#NashvilleNYE), the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp (NCVC) announced today. The free concert and street party has grown from 15,000 in 2009 to more than 135,000 last year.

Previously announced acts include Nashville singer-songwriting duo Sugar + The Hi-Lows; Nashville-based rock trio The Whigs; Nashville-based indie rockers Wild Cub; and rising country star Kelsea Ballerini. The Grammy-winning Kings of Leon last performed in Music City in February at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in conjunction with the Sports Illustrated 2015 Swimsuit Fan Festival.

Stapleton (@ChrisStapleton) has the distinction this year of receiving his first Country Music Association award nomination for New Artist of the Year, while also being nominated in two other categories: Album of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year. Ballerini also earned a New Artist of the Year nomination and got a nod in the Female Vocalist of the Year category, as well.

“Chris Stapleton rounds out an already stellar lineup that reflects the diversity of music thriving in Music City and the depth of the talent here,” said Ken Levitan, chairman of the NCVC board of directors and president of Vector Management. “With a headliner like the Kings of Leon and an extensive roster of acts with broad appeal, this year’s concert is our biggest ever, and we expect a record crowd to ring in the New Year and make significant contributions to the city’s economic activity.”

While the crowd size will not be confirmed until the conclusion of the event, the NCVC is logistically planning for 150,000 visitors, which would be the largest New Year’s Eve event in Music City to date.

Revelers will ring in 2016 with the Music Note Drop®, triggering a fireworks display and confetti cannons as the countdown reaches the midnight mark. For details on the Jack Daniel’s Bash on Broadway: New Year’s Eve in Music City, go to http://visitmusiccity.com/newyearseve.

Jack Daniel’s Bash on Broadway: New Year’s Eve in Music City is produced by the NCVC for the city of Nashville and presented by Jack Daniel’s. The celebration is sponsored by Advance Financial, Anderson Benson Insurance, Carl Black Chevrolet, McDonald’s, Durango Boot, Korbel, Budweiser, Bud Light and Fetzer.

Charlie Daniels Free Download Of New Song

The Charlie Daniels Band: It Don't Get No Better Than That
"It Don't Get No Better Than That" captures the spirit and allure of the world’s greatest rodeo

LAS VEGAS, NV (September 28, 2015) – Iconic artist Charlie Daniels has produced a new song that uniquely captures the road that the cowboys endure to qualify for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas to seek the coveted Gold Buckle and title of world champion. Entitled “It Don’t Get No Better Than That,” the song is the ultimate tribute to the cowboys and Las Vegas, the city that has hosted the world’s richest and most prestigious rodeo since 1985.

The song will be available on iTunes beginning Monday, October 12. Proceeds from the song will be donated to the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund and other organizations. During the Wrangler NFR, which takes place Dec. 3 – 12 in Las Vegas, fans can download the song for free at www.NFRSocialArena.com.

With kicking lyrics and riffs by Charlie Daniels and his band, the song emanates with the sight and sounds of rodeo. Specific lyrics include: To be one of the Cowboys headed to Nevada to try for the December Gold/Where the lights shine bright in the clear desert night and the people come to rock and roll/Where the best of the best are put to the test and the rest might as well stay home. The chorus continues with Got to make it out to Vegas to the NFR where eight seconds in the saddle can make you a star/Where the neon glitters and the party don't ever end.

"Being such a big rodeo fan, writing a song about cowboys and cowgirls, broncs and bulls and the excitement that surrounds the Wrangler NFR in Vegas every year was a natural for me,” said Charlie Daniels.  “It don't get no better than that."

The collaboration with the Wrangler NFR began long ago with Daniels’ interest in the sport and the cowboys who endure long trips, muddy arenas and battered bodies to pursue the dream of competing in Las Vegas.

“Charlie is a Wrangler National Finals Rodeo icon,” said Pat Christenson, president of Las Vegas Events. “We are proud and excited that he has penned and sung a song that tributes the experience of the Wrangler NFR and the road to get to Las Vegas.”

Entering his sixth decade producing music, Daniels has left an indelible mark on America’s musical landscape. From his Dove Award winning gospel albums to his genre-defining Southern rock anthems and his CMA Award-winning country hits, he has parlayed his passion for music into a multi-platinum career and a platform to support the military, underprivileged children and others in need.

Daniels recorded his self-titled solo album in 1970 for Capitol Records. Two years later he formed the Charlie Daniels Band and the group scored its first hit with the top ten “Uneasy Rider.” Since then the CDB has populated radio with such memorable hits as “Long Haired Country Boy,” “The South’s Gonna Do It Again,” “In America,” “The Legend of Wooley Swamp” and of course, his signature song, “The Devil Went Down to Georgia,” which won a Grammy for Best Country Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group in 1979 as well as single of the year at the Country Music Association Awards.

The CDB will perform more than 100 concert dates this year including performances on the Grand Ole Opry. The band's latest release, "Off the Grid - Doin' It Dylan," features 10 Bob Dylan songs by the CDB, and is their first CDB studio release since 2007.

Set for release on Oct. 16, Charlie Daniels brings his career spanning over 50 years full circle and is set to release Live At Billy Bob's Texas CD and DVD. The 14-track project joins The Charlie Daniels Band with the likes of legendary country artists like Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Gary Stewart, David Allan Coe, Pat Green, Randy Rogers Band, Stoney LaRue, Charlie Robison and many others as a member of the Live at Billy Bob's Texas family.

Sold out for 290 consecutive performances at the Thomas & Mack Center, the Wrangler NFR attracts the top 15 contestants in bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing, and bull riding. Under the new contract with the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association that runs through 2024, the purse in 2015 will jump to $10 million. Qualification is based on the 2015 PRCA World Standings.

For more information on the Wrangler NFR, please visit www.NFRexperience.com or through social media at /LasVegasNFR and use #WranglerNFR.
