Erica Nicole meet NY Mets and Miami Marlins

Erica Nicole performs National Anthem for NY Mets and Miami Marlins Tuesday, September 15 at Citi Field

In December 2013 Erica Nicole met with the ECAD (Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities) organization because she wanted to get involved with a service dog non-profit. September 15, 2014 she was asked to join ECAD for the "bring your dog to the park day" at Citi Field to sing National Anthem with a veteran and his service dog by her side.

Exactly one year later, Citi Field asked Erica if she would return to sing the national anthem. Although it was not a "bring your dog to the park day," she accepted the invitation. Because of her relationship with ECAD she asked that she be joined once again with a veteran and service dog on the field.

Hector Torres and his service dog Tuna accompanied her on Sept 15th, 2015 at CitiField to stand beside her as she performed the anthem for the Mets, Marlins and their fans.

APA TO HOST DIVERSE LINEUP AT 2015 IEBA CONFERENCE ON OCTOBER 11

APA's Craig Newman Nominated for IEBA Talent Agent of the Year Award

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (September 21, 2015) – This year, Music City’s 48th Annual IEBA Conference, held from October 10 thru 13 at the Omni Nashville Hotel, will once again be highlighted by APA’s annual party in the Event Hall of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum on Sunday, October 11. Performing artists scheduled to pack a diverse musical punch include Strung Like A Horse, Maggie Rose, Dailey & Vincent, Keith Anderson, and Starship featuring Mickey Thomas.

“Our lineup features something for everyone,” says Steve Lassiter, Partner and SVP of APA Nashville. “From the youthful sass of Maggie Rose to the pure mountain sounds of Dailey & Vincent, the eclectic grooves of Strung Like A Horse, the emotional honesty of Keith Anderson, and the one and only Starship featuring Mickey Thomas… we’re certain we’ve got a show that will leave the crowd wanting more!”

Strung Like A Horse, whose unique signature gypsy grass sound and high-energy stage show is a crowd favorite at venues across the country, features Clay Maselle, B.J. Hightower, drummer Crispy, and Spooky Fiddler.

Maggie Rose, whose evocative vocal stylings have earned her a pair of Billboard Country Top 40 singles with “I Ain’t Your Mana” and “Better,” was named the 6th Most Played Female On Country Radio of 2013 by Country Aircheck. Rose has also appeared on the Grand Ole Opry, and her music has been featured on the Disney Channel.

Dailey & Vincent (Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent) are one of the most-awarded acts in the pages of Bluegrass history, with many awards from the IBMA and SPBGMA, as well as several Grammy nominations. Their current disc, Alive! In Concert, debuted atop the Billboard Bluegrass Albums list.

Keith Anderson, perhaps one of the most lovable and energetic performers in country music, has hit the Top 10 numerous times with such radio staples as “Pickin’ Wildflowers,” “XXL,” and the heart-tugging “I Still Miss You.” He’s also penned hits for acts such as Garth Brooks, George Jones, and Big & Rich. Anderson recently issued his first project in seven years with “I’ll Bring The Music.”

Starship featuring Mickey Thomas was established by Thomas in 1985 as a continuation of the band Jefferson Starship, who hit the Hot 100 with pop classics like “Sara,” “We Built This City” and their biggest worldwide hit, the iconic “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now.” The band remains popular to this day, with dates at arenas lined up well into 2016.

APA is also very proud to acknowledge their IEBA Talent Agent of the Year Award nominee, Craig Newman, Head of Performing Arts and VP of Concerts at APA. A 15-year veteran who knows the stage from every side, Newman plays between 300 and 400 shows a year with a diverse range of clients that include The Fab Four, Under the Streetlamp, Peter Cetera and Micky Dolenz, to name a few. Other notable clients include Tony Award-winning Levi Kreis (Million Dollar Quartet), Tony Award nominee Mary Bridget Davies (A Night with Janis Joplin), and Gingger Shankar, who performed at this year’s Toronto Film Festival in conjunction with the screening of her documentary. Newman also is responsible for booking events with television tie-ins that include Chef Robert Irvine of “Restaurant Impossible”, Lightwire Theater from “America’s Got Talent,” and the critically-acclaimed One Man Breaking Bad.

“It’s that drive and determination to make each project the best it can be that makes Craig such a viable part of APA,” says Lassiter. “Craig’s work speaks for itself, but we at APA are so grateful to have him on our team and putting our clients on stages all over the world. His nomination is a victory – not just for him, but for all of us.”

Vince Gill, Lyle Lovett Reunite For “Songs and Stories” Tour

Vince Gill, Lyle Lovett Reunite For “Songs and Stories” Tour
Charismatic Performers Will Showcase Their Musical Versatility

Nashville, TN – September 21, 2015 -- The always witty Vince Gill and the reliably wry Lyle Lovett are reuniting for a 13 city tour that will take place through February and March 2016.  After teaming up for a series of concerts earlier this year, Gill and Lovett saw that the shows were so successful that they decided to continue the tour.
A reviewer for Elmore Magazine raved, “The evening reminded me of the Rat Pack, with pals Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra doing comedy and music and having a great time. . . . This was not the show I had looked forward to—it was much better.”
Each show will be a series of  intimate solo and duo performances, during which the artists will serve as their own accompanists.
"For a night like this, there is no plan," Gill said. "I know Lyle won't have a plan, and I won't either. What he plays will inspire me, and probably vice-versa. It'll be like playing ping-pong. Whatever song he chooses to sing will inspire the next song that comes out of me."
“I enjoy shows that are not planned out,” Lovett observes. “This will be two songwriters in the round. It’s informal, so there will be lots of ad-libbing. It will be like little snapshots of our experiences.”
Both performers have reaped armfuls of Grammys and kindred laurels for their musical versatility and memory-engraving songwriting.
"Just two guys sitting on stools, telling stories and singing songs," Gill says. "No big bands.  I saw James Taylor once with just him and his guitar, and after that show I felt like I knew him a whole lot better than I ever did before. That's what'll happen between Lyle and me, too, and I'm looking forward to it."
