CHARLIE DANIELS VOLUNTEER JAM STUNS WITH BOMBSHELL SURPRISE PERFORMANCES BY ERIC CHURCH, LYNYRD SKYNYRD AND BLACKBERRY SMOKE

40th Anniversary of Legendary Event Raises Hundreds of Thousands in Proceeds to Benefit U.S. Military and Veterans Through The Journey Home Project

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (August 13, 2015) – A sold-out crowd of concert-goers went wild Wednesday night at the 40th Anniversary celebration of the legendary Charlie Daniels Volunteer Jam, presented by Copperweld, at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena as seven-time GRAMMY-nominee country star Eric Church, iconic Southern rock group Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Blackberry Smoke made bombshell, unannounced appearances to honor U.S. military members and veterans.

Making waves in the music world in recent years with their blend of Southern Rock and country, Blackberry Smoke was the first surprise of the night. In the 9:00 hour, country mega-star, Eric Church, busted out on the stage in the midst of Daniels’ crowd-pleasing performance of “In America,” joining Daniels for an electrifying duet. Though both Daniels and Church hail from the state of North Carolina, the two had never shared the stage before – giving the crowd the chance to witness a magnetic inaugural moment.

Ensuring the Jam stayed enthralling to the very end, Lynyrd Skynyrd made their rip-roaring entrance at 11:30 p.m. CT and closed out the final hour of the historically boundless extravaganza with their iconic hits like "Simple Man," "Sweet Home Alabama," "Free Bird," "Gimme Three Steps,"and more.
Jamey Johnson also showed up late in the event, surprising concert-goers, yet again.

The four surprise guests joined billed acts: The Charlie Daniels Band, Ted Nugent, Trace Adkins, Alabama, Terri Clark, Billy Ray Cyrus, Colt Ford, The Grascals, Lee Greenwood, The Kentucky Headhunters, Tracy Lawrence, The Oak Ridge Boys, Ryan Weaver, Wynonna, Craig Morgan, Lee Roy Parnell, Billy Dean, Michael W. Smith, Travis Tritt, Phil Vassar, Montgomery Gentry and Blackberry Smoke, for a jam-packed line-up to remember.

Former Blackhawk pilot, U.S. veteran and rising country star, Ryan Weaver, evoked arguably the most emotional applause of the night with a performance and moving video tribute to his brother and brother-in-law, both lost in combat in the War on Iraq.

A benefit for U.S. Military veterans and their families, the 40th Anniversary Charlie Daniels Volunteer Jam raised hundreds of thousands in proceeds for the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, The Journey Home Project. It was co-founded by Daniels and his manager David Corlew, seeks to connect donors with veterans’ organizations that do the most good in meeting the health care, education and career needs of military servicemen and women and their families. Additional concert proceeds will benefit the Nashville Predators Foundation.

The Volunteer Jam's title sponsor, Henry Repeating Arms, donated a $200,000 check on-stage to The Journey Home Project. Anthony Imperato, President of Henry Repeating Arms, said, "Although we can never repay them [U.S. Military servicemen and women] what they have done for us, Henry's sponsorship of the Volunteer Jam and donation to The Journey Home Project is a small token of our gratitude."

Since 1974, Daniels has commissioned his musical friends and peers to come together on a “volunteer” basis to hang out, “jam” together, and entertain crowds in an unconventional, laid-back fashion unknown to any other concert event -- all while dedicating concert proceeds to worthy causes.

Having founded the “Volunteer Jam” concept in 1974 as a “homecoming,” event for music peers to gather in Nashville after celebrating their first hometown sellout concert, Daniels and The Charlie Daniels Band have grown the concept from its early days at the War Memorial Auditorium to the Starwood Amphitheater, to its first year at Music City’s Bridgestone Arena– it’s largest setting to-date.

The 40th Anniversary Charlie Daniels Volunteer Jam was co-hosted by conservative talk show host, Sean Hannity, and SiriusXM “The Highway” host, Storme Warren.

It is promoted in partnership with 95.5 FM Nash ICON, WSM-AM, and Henry Repeating Arms. It is presented by Copperweld and produced by David Corlew & Associates in association with Outback Concerts.

JASON ALDEAN CELEBRATES THREE BACK-TO-BACK HITS

JASON ALDEAN CELEBRATES THREE BACK-TO-BACK HITS
OFF OLD BOOTS, NEW DIRT WITH PROGRESSIVE NO. ONE PARTY

NASHVILLE, TN – August 12, 2015 - RIAA’s top digital country male artist of all time Jason Aldean celebrated the success of his recent three consecutive No. One hits, “Burnin’ It Down,” “Just Gettin’ Started” and “Tonight Looks Good On You,” off of his PLATINUM record OLD BOOTS, NEW DIRT yesterday (8/11).  Friends and family packed Nashville’s City Winery for a progressive party, which moved throughout the venue to celebrate each song.

First, Aldean was joined by fellow country superstars Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line and their co-writers Chris Tompkins (ASCAP) and Rodney Clawson (BMI) to celebrate the PLATINUM album’s lead single “Burnin’ It Down.”

Next up, the party moved to City Winery’s main dining room where the three-time and reigning ACM “Male Vocalist of the Year” was recognized for the chart-topper “Just Gettin’ Started,” with songwriters Chris DeStefano (ASCAP), Ashley Gorley (ASCAP) and BMI’s Rhett Akins.

Closing out the evening in the upstairs loft, Aldean, BMI’s Rhett Akins and Dallas Davidson, along with ASCAP’s Ashley Gorley were each awarded for the chart-topping success of “Tonight Looks Good On You.” The hit serves as Jason’s 16th career No. One single.

Following the recent celebration, Jason Aldean will continue to blaze through the Northeast this week with his BURN IT DOWN TOUR, which just surpassed two million in ticket sales. Upcoming tour stops include Darien Center, NY (8/13), the inaugural Delaware Junction in Harrington, DE (8/14) and MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ (8/15).

Volume Five Honored with International Bluegrass Music Association and GMA Dove Award Nominations

Volume Five Honored with
International Bluegrass Music Association and
GMA Dove Award Nominations

Nashville, Tenn. (August 12, 2015)  -  VOLUME FIVE is celebrating award nominations today from two separate organizations. As announced in a press conference by the International Bluegrass Music Association, VOLUME FIVE received an Award Nomination for Emerging Artist of the Year.  At the same time, the 46th Annual GMA Dove Award Nominations were being announced live from Lipscomb University in Nashville where VOLUME FIVE was honored with a Nomination for Bluegrass Recorded Song of the Year for “Daddy Was An Old Time Preacher Man” featuring Rhonda Vincent, written by Dolly Parton and Dorothy Joe Owens.

“I am just overwhelmed and completely grateful to the members of these two organizations for honoring VOLUME FIVE with these award nominations,” said band leader, lead vocalist and fiddle player Glen Harrell.

“Daddy Was An Old Time Preacher Man” appears on VOLUME FIVE'S chart topping album, VOICES, on Mountain Fever Records. Label President, Mark Hodges said, “I knew as soon as I heard this song that it was something special. It’s like Glen Harrell and Rhonda Vincent were born to sing together.” Winners of the 46th Annual GMA Dove Awards will be announced October 13, 2015 at the Allen Arena at Lipscomb University in Nashville. For more information and tickets, please visit www.doveawards.com.

Winners of the International Bluegrass Music Association Awards will be announced at a red carpet event to be held at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts, Memorial Hall in Raleigh, North Carolina on Thursday, October 1, 2015. For tickets to the Awards show and the IBMA World of Bluegrass, please visit www.ibma.org.

Much to the delight of VOLUME FIVE’S loyal fans, SiriusXM Bluegrass Junction re-aired the group’s Track by Track with Host Kyle Cantrell earlier this month.  In April, VOICES was the #1 Most Played Album and “Dream Softly” was the #1 Most Played Track on the program. “Dream Softly” along with four other songs (“King of California,” “Faithfully,” “Going Across the Mountain,” and “Colder & Colder”) have repeatedly charted on the popular Bluegrass Today Top 20 Song Chart since the album’s release earlier this year. VOICES is also currently appearing on the Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine's Top 15 National Bluegrass Survey Top 15 Album Chart with “King of California” climbing again this month on the publication’s Top 30 Song Chart.

Nashville, TN (August 12, 2015) – Following a formal gathering at ASCAP, rising new artist Kelsea Ballerini celebrated her first GOLD-selling, #1 single “Love Me Like You Mean It” with friends, family and members of the music industry Monday night (8/10) under a white-tented soiree hosted by label Black River Entertainment. Guests toasted with Soulshine pizza - which Ballerini and co-writers Forest Glen Whitehead, Josh Kerr and Lance Carpenter were eating as they wrote the record-breaking smash - and Ballerini treated the crowd to a pop up acoustic performance of songs from her debut album THE FIRST TIME, including “Love Me Like You Mean It” and catchy new single “Dibs.”
Flying up the Country radio charts, “Dibs” (Ballerini, Kerr, Griffin, Duke) is Top 35-and-climbing in just three weeks. Adding to the excitement, Ballerini will make her late night TV debut on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! September 30 with the sassy song.
Named by Billboard Magazine as “Country’s Next Queen,” she is hitting the road this summer playing major festivals, headline club dates and select shows with Alan Jackson, Lady Antebellum, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, and will join Dan + Shay’s JUST THE RIGHT KIND OF CRAZY TOUR this fall.
Praised by ROLLING STONE as one of the “10 Artists You Need To Know” from all genres and CMT’s Next Women of Country, Ballerini launched to stardom with the release of her #1, breakout debut "Love Me Like You Mean It." Abuzz with shout-outs from superstars Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Little Big Town, she is the first solo female artist in nine years to hit #1 with her debut country single and one of only 11 women to have ever hit the top of the charts with a debut. Both “Love Me Like You Mean It” and “Dibs” are featured on her debut album THE FIRST TIME, co-produced by Forest Glen Whitehead and Jason Massey, which landed Top 5 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart.

Stephanie Urbina Jones' Vision Shines Brightly

Stephanie Urbina Jones' Vision Shines Brightly In “Bring It Back To The Heartland”
First Single From Jones’ Forthcoming Album, Fiery Angel

Nashville, TN – Aug. 12, 2015 -- In this age of seeming national apathy, economic insecurity and political vitriol, it can be easy for many of us to be resigned to the status quo.
Not Stephanie Urbina Jones. The Hispanic American multi-talented singer/songwriter from Texas has taken up the battle cry of American pride and released “Bring It Back to the Heartland,” the first single from her forthcoming cd Fiery Angel.
Passionate, powerful and free of pandering, “Bring It Back to the Heartland” speaks to those values that Americans at their core still revere – hope, confidence in their abilities to lift themselves up through their own hard work and perseverance, and giving themselves “dreams that have wings,” as the song asserts. For Jones, who co-wrote the song with Mark Marchetti, it’s an urgent message at an urgent time.

“As a wife, mother and American, I have never experienced so much apathy, hopelessness and division in this country,” Jones says. “It makes me sad and fearful for my daughter’s future and everyone else’s.”
But it’s clear that Jones isn’t alone. She sees the song resonating around the country with audiences from all walks of life. “This song has hit such a cultural nerve that it brings people to their feet,” she reports. “This is not about politics, religion or corporations. It’s about people and bringing back the heart of what made this country great!”
Jones’ Hispanic American heritage has helped her bring a unique perspective to country music, an authentic heritage rarely given voice. She is the first independent female artist to hit #1 on the Texas Music Chart.  Jones also co-wrote “My Baby’s Got a Smile on Her Face.” Recorded by The Voice winner Craig Wayne Boyd, the song debuted at #1 on Billboard Hot Country Chart, thereby making chart history. In addition, “Bring It Back to the Heartland” was selected for the featured country music page on iTunes for three weeks running.
Jones has been taking her brand of country and Americana music far beyond the borders of the United States – to the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland; Country Gold in Kumamoto, Japan; Americana Cavalcade in Scotland; the Interlaken Country and Trucker Festival with The Mavericks; the Craponne Country Rendezvous in France; and many others shows in Mexico, Germany and Spain.
She will be performing in these cities later this year:  Aug.25 Nashville, TN, Bluebird Café; Sept. 11 Springfield, IL; Sept. 24 Fredericksburg, TX;   Sept. 26 San Antonio, TX;   Sept. 26 Austin, TX;   Sept. 30 Houston, TX; Oct. 1 Dallas, TX;  Oct. 3 Luckenbach, TX;  Oct. 10 Sebastapol, CA;  Nov. 6 Kansas City, MO.
“Bring It Back to the Heartland” is sponsored by Arriba Salsa – American Made, Family Owned.
