Randy Houser, Frankie Ballard and Craig Campbell will rock You!

RANDY HOUSER SETS HIS SIGHTS ON ARENAS FOR FALL HEADLINING TOUR

The We Went Tour featuring Frankie Ballard and special guest Craig Campbell kicks off in mid-November; first round of dates announced today, August 12

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (Aug. 12, 2015) – With his inimitably “rich, purling baritone” (The Washington Post) Randy Houser has earned a reputation as “one of Nashville’s best voices around” (American Songwriter), but those who have experienced his show for themselves know just how powerful Houser's voice is live, in-person. The four-time Platinum selling, three-time chart-topping CMA/ACM award nominee and his band have logged thousands of miles on the road, and this fall they will set out for Houser’s We Went Tour, playing arenas across the country accompanied by Frankie Ballard and special guest Craig Campbell.

“We’ve had a blast touring with Luke [Bryan] this summer, and it’s been an incredible opportunity to play to some people we might not have played to before,” said Houser. “We’re really looking forward to building our show this fall, playing the arenas and getting to play some new music. Frankie and Craig are both great performers, and we’re ready to get out there and show people what we’re all about!”

Houser has received rave reviews while on the Kick The Dust Up Tour with Bryan, playing to arenas and stadiums across the country. During his performance at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium, the Boston Globe touted that “the big-voiced and big-hearted Houser is always a treat, but he pulled off one of the most intimate moments seen at the stadium level” and praised him for “reminding everyone in attendance that all you need is a good song and a heartfelt performance to create a powerful and enduring musical moment.”

Fans can expect a little bit of everything on the We Went Tour, as Houser draws from a deep catalogue of songs, from fan favorites like “Boots On” and “Whistlin’ Dixie” to smash hits such as “How Country Feels,” “Runnin’ Outta Moonlight” and “Like A Cowboy.” He will also perform new music from his forthcoming Stoney Creek Records album, including his current single, “We Went.” With skilled guitar-slinger Frankie Ballard -- who has two No. 1 hits of his own with “Helluva Life” and “Sunshine & Whiskey” and a Top 5-and-climbing single on the charts with “Young & Crazy” -- and the energetic Craig Campbell (“Outta My Head,” “Keep Them Kisses Comin’”) rounding out the bill, the We Went Tour will launch in full force in mid-November.

The first dates to be announced for the We Went Tour are as follows, with more shows and ticketing information to be revealed in the coming weeks:

Friday, Nov. 20 – The Arena - Corbin, Ky.
Saturday, Nov. 21 – Hobart Arena – Troy, Ohio

About Randy Houser
With an inimitable voice the New York Times describes as “wholly different, thicker and more throbbing, a caldron bubbling over,” Randy Houser racked up three consecutive No. 1 hits and more than four million in singles sales to date with his Stoney Creek Records album, How Country Feels. He topped the charts with the title track, “Runnin’ Outta Moonlight” and “Goodnight Kiss” (also his first No. 1 as a songwriter) and earned critical acclaim for his powerful delivery of the Top 5 smash, "Like A Cowboy." Houser’s new single, “We Went,” is available at country radio and digital retailers now, with a new album forthcoming. He is currently touring with Luke Bryan on the Kick The Dust Up Tour and will launch his headlining We Went Tour this fall.

 About Frankie Ballard
Talented singer-guitarist Frankie Ballard, hailed by ROLLING STONE as “required listening,” is on the rise with his current Warner Bros. Records album SUNSHINE & WHISKEY. The album delivered consecutive No. 1, GOLD-certified smashes “Helluva Life” and "Sunshine & Whiskey," the current Top 5-and-rising hit "Young & Crazy" and debuted Top 5 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart. Moving to Nashville in 2009 from Battle Creek, Michigan, to pursue music, Ballard drew on his working class values, performing every chance he could and honing his guitar and songwriting skills to create a unique blend of blues-infused country rock. He steadily built a loyal fan base and took the time to grow as an artist and an individual, experiences that culminated in selling more than 1.7 million tracks to date and racking up over 72 million total streams. Playing over 400 shows across North America in the past two years, the "headliner in the making" (ROLLING STONE) is currently on Florida Georgia Line's 2015 ANYTHING GOES Tour and previously opened for Jake Owen, Rascal Flatts, Kenny Chesney, Taylor Swift and longtime idol Bob Seger.

 About Craig Campbell
Craig Campbell launched on to the Country music scene with the release of his self-titled debut album (2011) delivering his Top 15 breakout debut “Family Man,” top-selling fan-favorite “Fish,” and hit “When I Get It.” To date, he has logged four consecutive charted hits with over a billion radio airplay audience impressions and over a half million downloads. Praised as one of the genre's most neo-traditionalist singers, his new envelope-pushing single “Tomorrow Tonight” is quickly climbing the Country radio charts and follows his first Top 10 smash “Keep Them Kisses Comin’.” Produced by Jeremy Stover (Justin Moore) and co-written by Campbell, the temperature-rasing song is the lead track for his third studio album - and forthcoming debut project – on RED BOW Records. Music Row Magazine applauds, "He soars vocally on this one. Supporting harmony singing and screaming guitars adds to the undeniable excitement." The gifted songwriter co-wrote Garth Brooks "All American Kid" featured on the album MAN AGAINST THE MACHINE and recently signed to Magic Mustang Music for publishing. This summer, Campbell has been hitting the road playing major festivals, headline club dates as well as regular appearances on the Grand Ole Opry. The Lyons, GA native was first discovered while playing a regular gig at the Nashville's honky-tonk The Stage and spent time on the road playing keyboard for both Tracy Byrd and Luke Bryan.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (August 11, 2015) – After five GRAMMY Awards, nine GMA Dove Awards, an induction into The Grand Ole Opry and a forthcoming induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame, The Oak Ridge Boys have been presented with yet another distinction -- the Bob Hope Award for Excellence in Entertainment by the Congressional Medal of Honor Society – recognizing their work with The American Legion. The group accepted the award on August 8 at the Nashville Salutes Gala surrounded by 25 Medal of Honor recipients.

In September 2014, The Oak Ridge Boys joined forces with The American Legion to help raise awareness and support for better detection and treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder among U.S. military servicemen and women, and veterans. Through the partnership, The Oak Ridge Boys have also assisted with improving the VA benefits process, as well as the education and career opportunities that are available to veterans once they return to civilian life.

The Nashville Salutes Gala honored 25 living recipients of the Medal of Honor and served as a catalyst for the Middle Tennessee Character Development Program (CDP), whose goal is to develop the values required of every citizen among the youth of America. At the conclusion of the CDP presentation The Oak Ridge Boys took the stage and sang a heartfelt rendition of “Thank God for Kids.”

The award, named after famed entertainer Bob Hope and the work he performed to start the USO Tours, was conceived to honor entertainers who have demonstrated a commitment to the U.S. military through film, literature or music. Past recipients include Billy Ray Cyrus, Mark Wahlberg, Tom Selleck and Trace Adkins, among others.

ABOUT THE OAK RIDGE BOYS
The Oak Ridge Boys, who have sold over 41 million units worldwide, are synonymous with “America, apple pie, baseball and gospel and country music.” In addition to their awards and accolades in the country and pop music fields, they have garnered five GRAMMY® Awards and nine GMA DOVE Awards as well as the Mainstream Artist of the Year Award at the ICM Awards. They are members of the GMA Hall of Fame as well as The Grand Ole Opry, and they are recipients of the President’s Award from the Southern Gospel Music Guild.

Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks To Be Inducted Into Music City Walk of Fame

Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks To Be Inducted Into
Music City Walk of Fame
Critically Acclaimed Music Industry Artists to be 64th and 65th Stars

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Award-winning recording artists Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks will receive the 64th and 65th stars on the Music City Walk of Fame in an induction ceremony on September 10 at 2 p.m. in Walk of Fame Park, the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp announced.

“Trisha and Garth are two great artists who represent what makes Nashville special,” Nashville Mayor Karl Dean said. “They are musicians. They are entrepreneurs. And they are generous community advocates. The way they care about Nashville is as inspiring as their music. Garth stood strong with the city during the 2010 flood recovery, and we will never forget that. The city of Nashville is proud to recognize their accomplishments as individuals through inducting them into the Walk of Fame, and we are thrilled they will be our first husband-wife team to receive this honor.”

Yearwood has sold more than 12 million albums and is a platinum-selling, multiple Grammy, CMA and ACM Award-winning recording artists. Her number one hits include “She’s In Love With The Boy,” “XXX’s and OOO’s (An American Girl),” and “How Do I Live.” Since 2007, the superstar, whom Entertainment Tonight dubbed the newest "lifestyle maven," has written three New York Times Bestselling cookbooks, hosted six seasons of her Emmy Award-winning Food Network show, Trisha’s Southern Kitchen, and debuted a line of cookware, Trisha’s Precious Metals, and her own home furnishings line, Trisha Yearwood Home Collection with Klaussner Home Furnishings.

Brooks is the number one selling solo artist in US history with more than 136 million albums sold, according to RIAA. His worldwide critical acclaim includes being named the best-selling artist of the last two decades by Billboard, Nielson and SoundScan. He has received an abundance of industry accolades and awards in his career, including multiple Grammy, CMA and ACM awards and being inducted into the International Songwriters Hall of Fame, the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Country Music Hall of Fame. His many number one hits include “Friends in Low Places,” “The Thunder Rolls” and “The Dance.” Brooks has assisted in many humanitarian efforts, including performing 5 concerts in 2 days in 2008 to assist fire relief efforts in California, and performing 9 sold-out concerts in 6 days in 2010 to raise money for Nashville’s flood relief efforts.

The couple married in 2005 and recently relocated back to Nashville to continue their careers. They are both currently performing in the three-year Garth Brooks World Tour with Trisha Yearwood.

“Their impact individually and collectively on Nashville’s musical heritage is immeasurable and has spanned decades,” said Ken Levitan, Chairman of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. Board of Directors. “Their worldwide success has helped shine a spotlight on Music City and been a catalyst for millions of fans to come here.”

The Music City Walk of Fame was created in the fall of 2006 on Nashville’s Music Mile, a roughly one-mile stretch that connects downtown to Music Row.

The Walk of Fame is a landmark tribute to those from all genres of music who have made significant contributions to preserving the musical heritage of Nashville and have contributed to the world through song or other industry collaboration. With the addition of Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood, the Walk of Fame boasts 65 stars. Permanent sidewalk medallions with the artists’ name displayed in a star-and-guitar design will be installed in the sidewalk along the Music Mile.

The Music City Walk of Fame is an official project of Music City, Inc., the charitable foundation of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp (NCVC), and is produced with the support of founding sponsor Gibson Guitar and sponsors Durango Boot, Hard Rock Café, the City of Nashville and Metro Parks. Nominations are open to the public and are accepted in the categories of Artist, Musician, Songwriter, and Producer/Music Industry Executive. Application forms are reviewed by the Music City Walk of Fame anonymous selection committee.

ABOUT TRISHA YEARWOOD: TRISHA YEARWOOD possesses one of the most powerful voices in music and has built an empire by graciously standing her ground. Like Trisha herself, her twelfth album PrizeFighter: Hit After Hit, is the complete package. The album features ten of her career-defining hits and six new songs. The combo of classics and new songs mirrors her performances each night on stage on The Garth Brooks World Tour with Trisha Yearwood. Now, this platinum-selling, multiple Grammy, CMA and ACM Award-winning recording artist is not just the epitome of Southern charm, she’s a C.E.O. to boot!

Trisha’s third cookbook, Trisha’s Table, debuted on The New York Times Bestsellers List, she’s hosted six seasons of her Emmy Award-winning Food Network series, Trisha’s Southern Kitchen, her Trisha’s Precious Metals cookware line is in stores now and finally, she recently unveiled her Trisha Yearwood Home Collection, in partnership with Klaussner Home Furnishings, which will be in stores this fall.

ABOUT GARTH BROOKS:  GARTH BROOKS is certified by the RIAA as the #1-selling solo artist in U.S. history with over 136 million albums. He has received every accolade the recording industry can bestow on an artist.

In 2001, Garth retired and moved back to Oklahoma to raise his children. In 2008 The President Elect, himself, requested that Garth headline President Obama's Inaugural Celebration at the Lincoln Memorial. A crowd of over 300,000 did the "wave" to Garth's performance of "Shout" while the President sang along. That same year, at the request of the Governor of California, Garth performed 5 concerts in 2 days, a feat believed to have never before been attempted by any artist.  F.I.R.E., an organization created to provide financial help to recent fire victims and support the future of fire fighting in the state of California, received proceeds from 83,000 tickets sold. Portions of the live concerts were shown as a TV special, "Garth Brooks: Live in L.A." allowing viewers to donate as well.

In December 2010, Garth finished an astonishing 9 sold out concerts in 6 days to raise money for the flood relief efforts in Tennessee. ABC World News Tonight declared Garth The Person of the Week and the Mayor of Nashville announced that this was a record December for downtown Nashville merchants due to the over 145,000 who attended the concerts.

In January, 2012 he was named the best-selling artist of the last two decades by Billboard, Nielson and Soundscan, with a whopping 68.5 million sales. Brooks also sold out his recent appearance at the 100th anniversary of the Calgary Stampede. The sellout 15,000+ seats happened in less then a minute. Garth was recently inducted into the International Songwriters Hall of Fame in New York as well as the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. In October he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Performing for his induction were his heroes George Strait, James Taylor and Bob Seger.

On November 29th, 2013, Garth took the night with almost nine million viewers watching his CBS special "Live From Las Vegas." That very day Garth released his new boxed set, Blame It All On My Roots, which debuted for the 13th time in Garth's career at #1 on the country charts. The boxed set also rose to the top of the Billboard 200 Chart making it the 9th time Garth has been able to achieve that feat.

Garth's performance of "Friends in Low Places," was the last thing heard on The Tonight Show as Jay Leno ended his 22 year reign as The Tonight Show host.

On July 15th, 2014, Garth announced the three year Garth Brooks World Tour with Trisha Yearwood. On September 3rd, 2014, Garth released a new single, "People Loving People." It was his first new single since 2008. The very next day, September 4th, Garth began his 11 sold out shows at the Allstate Arena in Chicago. In 1998, Garth set the concert ticket sales records for every city on the tour. This time he has already beaten his own records. In Portland, Garth celebrated his 100th show on the world tour and two million in ticket sales. The next day he traveled to Dallas to perform at the 50th Anniversary ACM Awards and receive the Milestone Award.

Garth’s ninth studio album, MAN AGAINST MACHINE, was released November 11th. It was his first new studio album in 13 years. It became the 14th time in Garth’s career that one of his albums debuted at #1 on the country charts where it remained for seven non-consecutive weeks. The second single off the album, "Mom," became the inspiration for a Good Morning America contest encouraging viewers to send in videos nominating their mother or friend’s mother to be surprised by Garth serenading them at their door.
