PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (August 10, 2015) — Dolly Parton returned home, this past weekend, to help raise money for her Imagination Library and although the performances were billed Dolly: Pure & Simple, in simple Dolly fashion she shined brighter than the stars in the sky. The four sold-out shows, which took place at Dollywood’s D.P. Celebrity Theatre raised over $500,000.00.

When welcoming the audience, Dolly said, “Thank you from all the kids and me! We give books to children all over the world now, and the Imagination Library started right here in Sevier County, right up here in these hills. So thank you all for coming. I truly believe that you can never get enough books into the hands of enough children.”

Currently in Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States, the Imagination Library has mailed more than 71 million free books!

From Blue Smoke to Backwoods Barbie, 9 to 5 and Coat Of Many Colors, Dolly captivated the audience show after show performing her latest and greatest hits. During her performances, Dolly also shared her excitement for her new resort, “I am so proud of all the things we are doing here. Of course, it’s our 30th Anniversary, and we’ve been longing for our own hotel ever since we started Dollywood. Yesterday, I had a chance to go over to the resort and do some videos and things in my suite, and I got to see the resort up and breathin’ with real people in it. We are just so proud of it!”

Ty Herndon Signs Exclusive Booking Agreement with Buddy Lee Attractions

(Nashville, Tenn. – Aug. 10, 2015) Grammy-nominated, Dove award-winning and multi-platinum Country artist Ty Herndon has entered into an exclusive booking agreement with Nashville-based booking agency, Buddy Lee Attractions (BLA).

“We are truly excited that Ty Herndon is joining the BLA team,” commented BLA’s David Kiswiney. “Besides being a dynamic live performer, Ty is undoubtedly one of the finest singers in Country music today!”

Herndon’s career has produced more than four million in album sales, a Grammy nomination, Dove Award and multiple No. 1 singles on the Country charts, including “What Mattered Most,” “Living in a Moment” and “It Must Be Love.”  Among his nine studio albums and 17 charted singles are the Top 10 hits, “I Want My Goodbye Back,” “Loved Too Much,” “A Man Holding On (To a Woman Letting Go)” and “Hands of a Working Man.”  Herndon will debut a new full-length album later this year.

“Combining forces and signing with David and the BLA team is such an easy decision for me,” Herndon adds. “I’m thrilled to have their support and leadership as we get ready to tour the country with new material and two decades of hits.”

Over the last few years, Herndon has maintained a busy schedule; splitting his time writing and recording a collection of new songs while also touring around the United States to perform shows.

THE CHARLIE DANIELS BAND TO RELEASE NEW LIVE CD AND DVD

THE CHARLIE DANIELS BAND TO RELEASE NEW LIVE CD AND DVD, LIVE AT BILLY BOB'S TEXAS, ON OCTOBER 16
The Charlie Daniels Band - Live At Billy Bob's Texas
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (August 10, 2015) – From his Urban Cowboy honky tonk days, to the largest honky tonk in the Lone Star State, Billy Bob's Texas, Charlie Daniels brings his career spanning over 50 years full circle and is set to release Live At Billy Bob's Texas CD and DVD on October 16, 2015.

Recorded on February 20, 2015, the 14-track project joins The Charlie Daniels Band with the likes of legendary country artists like Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Gary Stewart, David Allan Coe, Pat Green, Randy Rogers Band, Stoney LaRue, Charlie Robison and many others as a member of the Live at Billy Bob's Texas family. The CD, which allows listeners to feel like a part of the boisterous live audience, and DVD, featuring exclusive behind-the-scenes interview footage with Daniels, will be available in stores nationwide and on iTunes, Amazon and everywhere digital music is sold.

Best known for their fiery fiddle-ridden No. 1 country hit, "The Devil Went Down to Georgia," which was featured in the 1980 American western drama featuring John Travolta, Urban Cowboy, The Charlie Daniels Band celebrates a decorated career of multiple GRAMMY, CMA, ACM and GMA Awards, and has exceeded 20 million in sales led by his six multi-platinum albums.

On Live At Billy Bob's Texas, Daniels' characteristic Southern attitude and Wild West influences shine through on LIVE, full band versions of country favorites like "Southern Boy," "Drinkin' My Baby Goodbye," "Folsom Prison Blues," "Long Haired Country Boy," "(What This World Needs Is) A Few More Rednecks," and 9 others, which make up the highly-anticipated October release.

Having recorded several live albums in his career, including his latest, military-centered 2007 release Live From Iraq, Charlie Daniels said, "When you record LIVE, you need to ignore the recording equipment and play for the people and that big old rowdy crowd. At Billy Bob's Texas, that was easy to do."

JASON ALDEAN HITS THE TWO MILLION MARK

JASON ALDEAN’S BURN IT DOWN TOUR
HITS THE TWO MILLION MARK IN TICKET SALES

The “Ideal Country Star” Rolls Into Advance Sell Outs At MetLife Stadium
and Two Nights at Gillette Stadium

Nashville, TN – August 10, 2015 – With other 54,000 fans in attendance at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver, CO this weekend, Jason Aldean’s BURN IT DOWN TOUR has officially surpassed two million in ticket sales. Capacity crowds and triumphant stadium shows have been a common denominator for RIAA’s top digital country male artist of all time.  Far from over, “the ideal country star” (Orlando Sentinel) has also already sold out upcoming stops at MetLife Stadium (8/15) and two nights at Boston’s Gillette Stadium (8/28, 8/29).

"I'll always be surprised to look up and see that many people…the Aldean Army is rocking harder than ever," said Aldean. "But the thing that really kills me is when I look up and see their faces and see how much these songs really mean to them. They are partying harder than anyone during the uptempo stuff and then when I think they may want to slow things down and catch their breath on the ballads, they are belting the words with so much passion…300 pound dudes are crying and hugging each other.  Having that kind of effect on a stadium full of people is something I will never ever get used to."

Dubbed by People as “the ultimate concert,” the record-breaking BURN IT DOWN TOUR continues through October with a special 10th Annual “Concert For The Cure” scheduled at his West Palm Beach tour date (10/24). Like years past, ACM’s three-time and reigning “Male Vocalist of the Year” has set aside a portion of ticket sales throughout the year, which will be donated to Susan G. Komen South Florida to support the West Palm Beach Area. New this year, Aldean has also been honoring two brave survivors at tour stops nominated through fan submissions.

Kenny Chesney Takes Mile High Higher

Kenny Chesney Takes Mile High Higher

Denver, CO (August 9, 2015): Kenny Chesney grew up watching the Denver Broncos playing on TV, so playing Sports Authority Stadium at Mile High was one of the shows he was looking forward to. Evidently, Denver shared that anticipation as Chesney’s Big Revival 2015 Tour stop sold 54,674 – the most ever for an end zone set-up show at the iconic football stadium.

“Since I started coming here to play the Grizzly Rose, the Denver fans have been a big part of taking my music where it’s gone… and they sure did tonight!” Chesney said after the show. “We have had some incredible shows in Denver, including those crazy nights at Red Rocks, which I didn’t think anything could top. This just did."

To gear up for the Mile High show, Chesney spent the morning at practice with the Broncos. Wearing a Tennessee t-shirt in solidarity with his good friend Peyton Manning, who was at practice, Chesney took in the drills and got focused up for his sold-out show.

Football was the day’s underlying theme. Earlier that evening, Chesney was invoked during legendary general manager Ron Wolf’s speech during his induction into the Football Hall of Fame. The man who spent 22 seasons with the Raiders before transforming the Green Bay Packers, opened his comments with “I’d like to start by quoting my good friend Kenny Chesney, ‘This is our moment, This is our time/ This is our destiny, This is our night to shine…"

“My friends in the NFL were blowing my phone up with texts when Ron did that,” Chesney marveled. “Ron Wolf meant so much to football, he changed the game, but he also believed in the passion and the work it takes to make a team great. Those same ideas are what I brought with me to Nashville when I was a kid; the idea it transfers… what do you say?"

Naturally Chesney’s celebration of high school “The Boys of Fall” took on even deeper tones during the otherwise high-energy set. Pulling a girl in her mid-teens from the crowd, Chesney gave the petite brunette in a red plaid shirt a hug and then set the signed Broncos helmet on her head. The crowd erupted as loud as they’d done for “American Kids,” “Out Last Night” or “Summertime."

“I like the idea of giving a girl the helmet,” Chesney says. “Like ‘Wild Child,’ it says women really can do anything. It’s important people know and think that. When you see this, I think it resets the way we look at the world! Dream and be what you want. Just look at me…”
