WYNONNA AND TERRI CLARK ADDED AS PERFORMERS FOR CHARLIE DANIELS 40TH ANNIVERSARY VOLUNTEER JAMNASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 30, 2015) – On August 12, Charlie Daniels' 40th Anniversary Volunteer Jam will usher in music fans from all over the world to Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena for a historic, colossal concert to benefit U.S. veterans in need through the (501)(c)(3) non-profit organization, The Journey Home Project.

The Henry Rifles Stage To Feature Jam-Packed Line-Up of Supporting Acts Like Natalie Stovall & The Drive, The Grascals and More
Today, Charlie Daniels announces the award-winning hit-maker WYNONNA and multi-No. 1 hit-maker and Canadian guitar-slinger, TERRI CLARK, will join the already-announced mega line-up which includes: Charlie Daniels and The Charlie Daniels Band, Ted Nugent, Trace Adkins, Alabama, Montgomery Gentry, The Oak Ridge Boys, Tracy Lawrence, Travis Tritt, Craig Morgan, Phil Vassar, Lee Greenwood, Billy Ray Cyrus, Colt Ford, Michael W. Smith, The Grascals, The Kentucky Headhunters, Ryan Weaver, The Outlaws and Lee Roy Parnell. In addition, several head-turning SURPRISE guests will add even more excitement to the event.
Tickets are still available to the public at Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster locations, and the Bridgestone Arena box office for $17.68 and up.
The Henry Rifles Stage, which will be located on the Bridgestone Plaza, will host a free open-to-the-public, energy-packed side show for concert-goers and bystanders featuring Natalie Stovall & The Drive, The Grascals, American Hitmen, Jason D. Williams, Jesse & Noah Bellamy, Ryan Weaver, the Tucker Yochim Band, the Scooter Brown Band and the Justin McCorkle Band. Music will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. CDT.
Henry Repeating Arms, leading American-made rifle manufacturer and strong supporter of the U.S. Military, has come on board as a lead sponsor of the Jam to help heighten awareness of The Journey Home Project and its efforts to help veterans through the company’s vast consumer base of firearm collectors and enthusiasts.
"We at Henry Repeating Arms are forever indebted to those who have served our country. Although we can never repay what they have done for us, Henry’s sponsorship of the Volunteer Jam and donation to The Journey Home Project is a small token of our gratitude," said Anthony Imperato, President of Henry Repeating Arms.
Charlie Daniels, who has been hosting The Volunteer Jam in Nashville since its inaugural start in 1974 said, “It’s really something to see my music peers and friends come together this year to perform with little incentive other than to help raise funding and give back to those who have served. Few sacrifices are greater than those of our U.S. Military, so it makes me proud to have witnessed this event come together in such a big way in 2015. We as U.S. citizens can never repay military members and veterans for what they have and continue to do for us, but I hope at least this concert can serve a small role in showing them our great appreciation.”
The Charlie Daniels 40th Anniversary Volunteer Jam will benefit The Predators Foundation as well as The Journey Home Project, a non-profit organization co-founded by Charlie Daniels and his long-time manager David Corlew. Initiated in 2013, The Journey Home Project serves to connect donors to veterans’ organizations that are proven to effectively help to meet the health care, education and career needs of military servicemen and women and their families.
Event-goers can expect an evening full of opportunity to honor veterans in attendance. Former Blackhawk pilot and rising country artist, Ryan Weaver, who lost both his brother and brother-in-law to enemy fire, is scheduled to perform a moving tribute.
Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster locations and at the Bridgestone Arena box office. A limited number of VIP seats located in the first several rows, which include a pre-show VIP reception with Charlie Daniels, are still available.
The event will be hosted by conservative talk show host Sean Hannity and SiriusXM The Highway’s Storme Warren. It is presented by Copperweld and produced by David Corlew & Associates in association with Outback Concerts. 95.5 NASH Icon and WSM-AM serve as the official radio partners.

John Berry Kickstarts New Album ProjectNASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 29, 2015) – When John Berry and his wife, Robin, relocated to Nashville last summer, he knew it would spur creative energy. Now, less than a year later, Berry is looking forward to getting back into the studio for the follow-up to his 2011 record, RealMan.RealLife.RealGod.
“Robin and I were given the chance to move to Nashville last summer and it has been awesome! I have been renewed musically and taken advantage of every opportunity I could to submerse myself into the writing world,” Berry said. “I cannot recall spending this much time writing since I last wrote Standing On The Edge Of Goodbye in 1995. I have truly enjoyed this resurgence of creativity.”
Berry’s untitled project will be a two-disc set. The first disc will feature 10 brand new country songs that he says are “absolute John Berry.” The second disc in the set comprises five inspirational and Christmas songs.
To secure funding for his new album, the independent recording artist knew exactly where they would go. For his previous album, Berry relied on fans through the crowdsourcing site Kickstarter. He’s hoping to recapture that success for his upcoming album. For the upcoming project Berry is looking to raise $50,000 in 40 days.
"With our last Kickstarter campaign, we exceeded our goal and I believe we’ll do it again with this project,” Berry said. “Any monies raised above and beyond the $50,000 will be put towards some great marketing and promotion.”
Berry is excited to get back into the studio and get work. “I have been preparing for this new recording for two years. It's time to get started! Once the process begins, it will move quickly,” Berry said.

Same Ol' Dirt
Memphis 4:01 Same Ol' Dirt 5:32 Halfway to Reno 3:54 She Don't Need Me Anymore 3:40
What Happiness Looks Like 3:34 Escape Artist 4:08 Granddad Son 5:26 Clear Cut 4:35
Stuck Here in Bowling Green 4:23
When I was about to begin this, I believed I would be in a bed in a medical clinic hooked up to all sorts of electrodes with my entire body plugged in. Well, that was Monday night and after they plugged me in I realized there was absolutely no way in hell that I could put on headphones and start working on my computer. Also, they were supposed to be completing a sleep test, so the two just didn't seem to work together. One thing I can tell everyone is it's pretty hard to really get a good night sleep doing one of those and I don't recommend it.
I'm kinda glad I didn't because when Memphis gets rolling, or I should say revving. You can hear the anthems racing through the speakers of the Daytona 500. Instantly the power of the guitar solos drive it home and are so reminiscent of the greats that coined the term "southern rock."
Same Ol' Dirt is the title track that slows down the album considerably. I can see this as being one of those "hold up your lighter songs and sway with the crowd". Although I do see it as a good song, it's night and day between the first and second song. I don't know. I always hate it when albums do this; they begin strong and then the energy drastically changes.
Next, Halfway to Reno, picks it right back up. This is what I can't understand. To me it would just seem common sense to back Memphis up with this. The vocals and lyrics move this song but the drum and guitar help to drive the distance from that small town to BFE(the middle of nowhere) on the way to Reno. I know that same halfway feeling you get on a road trip. That's when you know you've left somewhere and your adventure into the unknown has truly begun.
She Don't Need Me Anymore, has that country sound that is hard to explain. I'm not sure if it comes from the "lady leavin' me" lyrics, or that smooth deep guitar twang that harmonizes with the singer's southern one. Whichever or whatever it is, this song is my favorite so far on the album.
Oh wait! I spoke too soon. What Happiness Looks Like begins with raw power and just never lets go. Wow!! I don't know what else to say. This should have been the title track. This song makes me think of the greats like Black Sabbath or AC/DC. I just suggest you listen to this on good headphones or through a great sound system and jack it up. The guitar solos almost scratch like fingernails down a chalkboard from speaker to speaker, but in such a delicious way.
Escape Artist,.is another song that just seems to power through. Then comes Granddad Son which slows it down as the album mellows out. It's just the singer, lone guitar and a small high-hat almost as if it's a memorial song.It sounds like the perfect song for the end of a funeral scene in a movie, maybe the rain gently coming down. It could even be the end of a scene of a "coming of age" movie.
Clear Cut is another moderately slow song at first but it builds. This one 's guitar along with the vocals just give me that picture of a farmhouse caught in a wildfire. The singer just comes through much darker, on this song. It's an eerie backdrop that makes this song stand out on the album. I believe it's the fiddle and the steady bass drum that really drive it home.. This is probably the most powerful song both lyrically and musically. It's the story that all too often has happened across the south and the midwest part of the country. The story and the feeling it generates is that of a descendant having to give up the family farm to the larger ones or the corporate entities.
The sale is compared to selling the soul to the devil.
Stuck Here in Bowling Green is a great song to end the end with. It's light hearted, high energy and possibly could be an earlier song that was both written and performed. It seems like it is geared to a hometown crowd, but it really transcends that and could be viewed as any band from small town America.
All I can think about this album, what I can't get off my mind is the title track versus the rest of it. I just feel it either doesn't belong, it was chosen for overall popularity or the placement of it was just such a poor choice. I went back and listened to it a few more times separate from the rest. And, you know I really like it when it stands alone. That could only make me draw the conclusion that it's the placement of the song on the album that bothered me. It is such a shame I hit that roadblock because this album both musically and lyrically is so powerful and it is so much needed for its fresh awe inspiring southern rock/country sound.

THOMAS RHETT ANNOUNCES DETAILS FOR SOPHOMORE ALBUM TANGLED UP SET FOR RELEASE ON SEPT. 25
Fans to Select TANGLED UP Album Cover On ThomasRhett.com
NASHVILLE, TN - June 29, 2015 - PLATINUM-selling rising star Thomas Rhett announced today that his sophomore album TANGLED UP (Valory Music Co.) is slated for a Sept. 25 release. Lead single “Crash And Burn,” already a top digital download and smoking up the country radio charts, sets the pace for his second album and sets Thomas Rhett apart from the rest of the pack. Billboard notes “if it’s possible to be retro, contemporary and edgy in the context of a lone country single, Thomas Rhett does that with ‘Crash And Burn.’"
“This album is something we’ve been working on for two years and musically, it really pulls from all the things I have been inspired by during that time," says Thomas Rhett. "The title Tangled Up comes from a lyric in one of the new songs, and I think it's a cool way to point to all the different influences that I have as an artist and a songwriter – from soul and r&b to old school country to rock and everything in between. They are all in this record!"
To help celebrate his fans and bring them into the album process, Thomas Rhett is asking fans to help choose the disc's cover art. Four designs will be posted today on ThomasRhett.com and the winning cover will be revealed in the coming weeks.
