Michael Martin Murphey Returns

Michael Martin Murphey Returns
To Red River NM For Summer Season

RED RIVER, NEW MEXICO — There are a lot of reasons that iconic singer - songwriter Michael Martin Murphey likes to return to Red River, New Mexico as often as possible. In fact, he loves it so much, he, along with Red River businessman Steve Heglund, opened the Rockin’ 3M Amphitheater where Murphey will perform twice weekly beginning in July and continuing through Labor Day Weekend.  See complete schedule at:

“Red River is my spiritual home,” said Murphey, whose long list of huge hit songs includes “Wildfire,” “Carolina In The Pines,” “Cowboy Logic,” “Geronimo’s Cadillac” and many more.  “It’s absolutely stunning here. I went there several times when I was still in high school,” he continues.   “I was hooked on the sheer beauty of the area then and decided that it would always be a part of my life.”

Situated in heart of the American West, The Rockin’ 3M Amphitheater opened in the summer of 2013. The stage stands against a backdrop of a quiet lake situated in the middle of The Rocky Mountains.   “I can literally walk to the back of the stage and throw in a line to fish,” Murphey laughs.  “I’ve not actually caught a fish during a performance, but there’s always hope.”

In addition to a concert from Murphey guests to the Rockin’ 3M Amphitheater are treated to a chuckwagon style dinner featuring Southwestern food and ambiance.

Located at 179 Bitter Creek Road, the Rockin’ 3M Amphitheater was part of the old Lazy H Guest Ranch in the 1920s and ‘30s.  The open amphitheater allows the cool mountain air to float through, so guests are encouraged to bring blankets or a warm coat on most nights. “It’s the ‘open sky experience’ I’ve always loved,” Murphey said.  “This is what I’ve always wanted to do. This is a dream come true for me.  I can walk out my own backdoor and play without going all over the country.”

Oak Ridge Boys Album ‘Rock of Ages’ Breaks into Billboard Top 10

Oak Ridge Boys Album ‘Rock of Ages’ Breaks into  Billboard Top 10
Oak Ridge Boys: Rock Of Ages
Award-winning Group Puts Their Twist on Gospel Classics
with 'Rock of Ages, Hymns and Gospel Favorites'

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (June 8, 2015) – Country music legends the Oak Ridge Boys have proven this week that gospel music is as popular as ever, after Billboard Magazine posted its June 13 sales charts. Rock of Ages, the latest album release from the Country Music Hall of Fame inductees, has broken into the Billboard Christian Album Top 10. According to Billboard, the album is also the greatest gainer on the Christian Albums chart for the reporting period.

Rock of Ages debuted at No. 1 on the Nielsen SoundScan Southern Gospel chart when it entered wide release May 26. Since that time it has risen from a No. 38 debut on the Billboard Christian Albums chart to its current position at No. 8. The album is being distributed through Capitol Christian Distribution and is available in general market stores, as well as in the Christian marketplace and online retailers such as iTunes, Amazon.com, and www.gaither.com. Rock of Ages marks the 14th time in the group’s 40-year history that an Oak Ridge Boys album has reached a Billboard Top 10 and their 26th album to break Billboard top 40 charts.

Founded in 1943, in Knoxville, Tenn., by gospel music singer, manager, promoter and businessman Wally Fowler, the current Oak Ridge Boys lineup was assembled years later (William Lee Golden, 1965; Duane Allen, 1966; Richard Sterban, 1972; and Joe Bonsall, 1973). Together, they have scored 17 No. 1 hits, released more than 40 albums and achieved worldwide sales of over 41 million units. They have received five GRAMMY® Awards; 15 CMA Award nominations, winning four of them; and were inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 2000.

In April it was announced that the group will be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in the fall of 2015, in the Modern Era Artist category.

Bonsall and Sterban were inducted into the Philadelphia Music Alliance Walk of Fame in 1994. Golden received the Alabama Music Hall of Fame’s Life Work Award for Performing Achievement in 1997, and Allen was honored with induction into the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame in 2014.

CRAIG CAMPBELL FIRES UP COUNTRY

CRAIG CAMPBELL FIRES UP COUNTRY RADIO WITH SEDUCTIVE SINGLE “TOMORROW TONIGHT”
WITH 42 FIRST WEEK ADDS

Debut Single on RED BOW Records Doubles Career Record for Most First Week Adds

CRAIG CAM (EPISODE 2) LIVE NOW!

NASHVILLE, TN (June 8, 2015) – Craig Campbell’s highly-anticipated debut single with RED BOW Records, “Tomorrow Tonight,” emerges this week as the 4th most added song at country radio with 42 first week stations. The lead track to his forthcoming third studio album also set a personal record for the singer-songwriter doubling his previous record for the most first week adds of his career.

“Tomorrow Tonight” effortlessly embodies the neo-traditionalist tag he has come to personify. The sexy tune, that captures the fiery rendezvous between two lovers, melds both traditional and more modern sounds in perfect harmony.

The enthusiastic early reviews from critics are pouring in with Taste of Country noting, “It’s a strong vocal performance for a man who slips under the radar all too often.” All Access adds, “Take my advice and don’t wait till tomorrow to add this song, it’s a hit, add it now.”

Produced by Jeremy Stover (Justin Moore) and co-written by Campbell, Justin Wilson and Vicky McGhee, “Tomorrow Tonight” is the blueprint for Campbell’s third studio album due out later this year.

“There are a lot of sides to me that people haven’t yet seen,” he shares. “You can expect some great music with a little more energy and a lot more fire.”

Campbell will be performing “Tomorrow Tonight” live this week at the CMA Fest Riverfront Stage and a special acoustic show at AT&T U-verse® Fan Fair X Showcase Stage in Nashville on Thursday, June 11. He is currently in the studio and will be touring the U.S. throughout the summer.  Fans that can’t wait for the stage show can get a behind-the-scenes look at Campbell’s daily life on the road via the star’s popular Craig Cam series. The latest installment, Craig Cam (Episode 2) is live now at: http://geni.us/CraigCam2015Ep2.

Campbell launched on to the Country music scene with the release of his self-titled debut album (2011) delivering the hits “Family Man,” “Fish,” and “When I Get It.” To date, he has logged four consecutive charted hits with over a billion radio airplay audience impressions and over a half million downloads. Acclaimed as one of the genre's most neo-traditionalist singers, his Top 15 breakout debut “Family Man” was featured on HBO’s True Blood and the top-selling fan-favorite “Fish” has tallied nearly 400,000 digital copies sold. Most recently, Campbell earned his first Top 10 smash with the infectious “Keep Them Kisses Comin’” from his sophomore album NEVER REGRET (2013) produced by Keith Stegall (Alan Jackson, Zac Brown Band) and Matt Rovey (CCMA Album Of The Year Producer). The gifted songwriter co-penned six of the tracks on the twelve-song project as well as Garth Brooks "All American Kid" on MAN AGAINST THE MACHINE. Prior to landing his first record deal, the Lyons, GA native spent time on the road playing keyboard for both Tracy Byrd and Luke Bryan - shows that inspired him nightly. He was soon discovered while playing a regular gig at the downtown Nashville honky-tonk, The Stage. Campbell is now signed to BBR Music Group’s RED BOW Records.

About Country's Family Reunion
Gabriel Communications, started in 1996 by long-time disc jockey Larry Black, is the producer of the popular Country’s Family Reunion and Larry’s Country Diner series. Black first applied the “Reunion” concept to the legends of country music in 1997. The idea was simple: bring America’s most-treasured artists together into one room to reunite and reminisce about their careers, perform signature songs and share stories while the cameras roll. The result has been pure magic, documenting hundreds of stories and performances that would have otherwise been lost. The series’ popularity has led to top-rated shows on RFD-TV and wildly successful DVD sales, spurring the creation of more than a dozen more projects and Country’s Family Reunion News (a monthly newspaper that highlights the music of yesteryear), as well as giving rise to sold-out theatre shows and ocean cruises by the ever-growing fan base.

OLIVIA LANE’S NEW SINGLE “YOU PART 2” IGNITES COUNTRY RADIO TODAY

OLIVIA LANE’S NEW SINGLE “YOU PART 2” IGNITES
COUNTRY RADIO TODAY

Macy's iHeartRadio Rising Star Participant to Host “Diva Jam” at The Listening Room Cafe on Saturday, June 13 at 2pm

NASHVILLE, TN (June 8, 2015) – Big Spark Music Group’s firecracker songstress Olivia Lane released her brand new single, “You Part 2,” to Country radio today, (6/8). Lane co-wrote the feisty, female-empowerment break-up song with Ilya Toshinskiy and Danny Myrick (Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw). Recently, the newcomer was selected as one of only five emerging Country acts for the Top 25 Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star artists. In correlation with the campaign, she released the sassy and fun lyric video for “You Part 2.”

“I want the characters in my songs to be strong females,” said Lane. “I think that is what Country radio needs right now. This song is about emerging from a breakup feeling stronger and independent…realizing that you are better off without them.”

For the second consecutive year during CMA Music Festival, Lane will be bringing together some powerful voiced females with hosting the Nashville music series, “Diva Jam,” at The Listening Room Cafe on Saturday, (6/13), at 2:00pm. Announced artists include: Annie Bosko, April Kry, Hannah Blalock, Rae Solomon, Ruthie Collins, Sandra Lynn, and SaraBeth.

Fans can also catch Lane participating and performing “You Part 2” at numerous events throughout Nashville during CMA Fest 2015:

June 9 - 3:00pm - “Chords for a Cause – Summertime on the Row” benefitting Vanderbilt University,   Monroe Carell, Jr., Children’s Hospital - Dan McGuinness Irish Pub
June 9 - 5:00pm – “Music City Gives Back” autograph signing – Broadway at 3rd Avenue
June 9 - 8:45pm – Renegade Radio Nashville presents “Young Country” benefitting Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital – Wildhorse Saloon
June 13 - 2:00-5:00pm – “Diva Jam” – The Listening Room Cafe

Previously opening for Wynonna Judd, Frankie Ballard and Randy Houser, this summer the songstress can be seen performing throughout the country including dates with Easton Corbin and RaeLynn. In the fall, Lane joins Trace Adkins, Neal McCoy, Joe Nichols, Charlie Worsham and many others for the weeklong “Country Cruising” voyage departing from Miami on October 23.

At the helm of new music, the talented singer has once again teamed up with producer and musician Ilya Toshinskiy, and has been writing with some of Nashville’s top tunesmiths including Catt Gravitt (Jake Owen, “Alone With You”), Danny Myrick (Tim McGraw, “Truck Yeah”)  and Laura Veltz (Eli Young Band, "Drunk Last Night”). After the release of her debut single, “Steal Me Away,” Lane garnered national attention as she was selected for Country Weekly’s 2015’s Who’s New feature. The fresh-faced newcomer made the move to Nashville, TN, over a year ago to pursue music, eagerly following in the footsteps of her mother who was a Country singer. Ever since she can remember, the 23-year-old has been immersed in the craft and tradition of Country music and knew that Music City was where she would land after graduating from USC with a focus in music, songwriting and acting.

A THOUSAND HORSES RELEASES DEBUT ALBUM SOUTHERNALITY ON TUESDAY, JUNE 9

A THOUSAND HORSES RELEASES DEBUT ALBUM SOUTHERNALITY ON TUESDAY, JUNE 9

Breakout band to celebrate release week with performances at CMT Awards, CMA Fest and Bonnaroo

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (June 8, 2015) – Get ready for more music from Republic Nashville’s A Thousand Horses. After one of the fastest starts in country music history, the band will release their highly anticipated debut album Southernality on Tuesday, June 9.

The album’s title - a mix of the words Southern and personality – is meant to evoke a state of mind and a way of life, and fans have enthusiastically embraced the vibe. They’ve helped A Thousand Horses pull off one of the most memorable debuts in recent history with the first single “Smoke” setting records on the way to the top of the charts.

“Smoke” is about a woman whose presence lingers even when she’s not around. The song immediately stuck with fans in much the same way. A Thousand Horses set a record for highest charting debut single at No. 28 on the Mediabase country songs chart. They also became the first group (of three members or more) to send their debut single to No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart since December 2008.

“It’s been mind-blowing,” lead singer Michael Hobby said. “It’s overwhelming and crazy to see the reaction from country radio, from fans loving it and all the people we’re meeting being out on the road. We’re very grateful, it’s very humbling and unbelievable.”

Southernality, produced by Dave Cobb (Jason Isbell, Chris Stapleton) can be purchased at iTunes and all other major retailers. A Thousand Horses will celebrate the release with a number of appearances this week. The band, which includes Bill Satcher, Zach Brown and Graham DeLoach, will perform at the CMT Music Awards on June 10, where they are nominated for Group Video of the Year, and will perform at CMA Music Festival on June 11 and the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival on June 14. The band also is out on the road with Darius Rucker’s “Southern Style Tour” this summer.

The group mixes the Southern rock sounds they fell in love with growing up in eastern Georgia and South Carolina with the storytelling tradition of country music to make songs that stick in the mind. The mix has proven appealing to fans of both, as well as critics. All Access said of the band and their album, “I defy you to put this in your car, start listening and not like it. The first single, 'Smoke,' is a runaway hit, sounds terrific on the radio and is selling big. Not convinced? Go see them live." Rolling Stone Country said “the Horses are bringing musicianship back to a stale format” and USA Today named them a 2015 “Artist to Watch.” They also recently made their television debut on TODAY immediately followed by two performances on FOX and Friends.

The band’s next single, “(This Ain’t No) Drunk Dial,” is available for purchase at iTunes and will impact country radio on June 29.

Southernality Track Listing:
1. “First Time” (Michael Hobby, Bill Satcher and Patrick Davis)
2. “Sunday Morning” (Michael Hobby, Bill Satcher, Graham DeLoach, Zach Brown and Rich Robinson)
 3. “Smoke” (Michael Hobby, Ross Copperman and John Knight)
