RONNIE RENO CELEBRATES 60 YEARS OF LEGENDARY MUSIC

RONNIE RENO CELEBRATES 60 YEARS OF LEGENDARY MUSIC WITH
NEW ALBUM, LESSONS LEARNED, SET FOR MARCH 17 RELEASE

First single, "Lower Than Lonesome," hits airwaves today!

NASHVILLE, TN (March 9, 2015) – RONNIE RENO, whose musical talents helped forge the sound and songs of so many legendary Bluegrass and Country Music entertainers, celebrates 60 years in entertainment with the release of his new album, LESSONS LEARNED, due in stores on March 17, 2015. The first single release, “Lower Than Lonesome,” hits airwaves today.

LESSONS LEARNED is the perfect album title for the two-time IBMA honoree and “Bluegrass Music’s Youngest Old-Timer.” Over the past 60 years, Ronnie Reno has had one of the most colorful, diverse and distinguished careers in the music industry—the lineage of which is a study of both traditional Country and Bluegrass music history. His musical talents have provided the foundation for a long list of seminal performers in both genres, including Reno & Smiley, The Osborne Brothers, Merle Haggard, The Reno Brothers, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash and many others. As a songwriter, his music was cut by artists such as Vassar Clements, Sammi Smith and Merle Haggard, and his song “Boogie Grass Band” was a pivotal #1 smash hit for Conway Twitty. As an award-winning television producer, his show “RENO’S OLD TIME MUSIC FESTIVAL” was the first nationally-broadcast show featuring Bluegrass Music, earning him a prestigious Cable Ace nomination and the nickname “The Dick Clark of Bluegrass.” His new show, “RENO’S OLD TIME MUSIC,” airs in prime time on Saturday nights on RFD-TV with 1.2 million monthly viewers (click HERE for more information, airtimes and upcoming guests).

The long-awaited LESSONS LEARNED is Reno’s first album in nearly a decade and his debut album on Rural Rhythm Records. Each song tells a story about life, love and relationships that pull from his rich experiences as an artist, songwriter and TV host. Reno’s singer/songwriting talents really shine on this 11-song album containing 9 songs penned by Reno. Produced by RONNIE RENO, LESSONS LEARNED showcases The Reno Tradition, (Mike Scott - banjo; Heath Van Winkle - bass; John Maberry - mandolin; and Steve Day - Fiddle), Ronnie’s current band and the house band on his TV show. LESSONS LEARNED contains “Reno’s Mando Magic,” a powerhouse instrumental done in the Reno tradition and 10 songs featuring Reno’s warm passionate vocals with harmony vocals by Heath Van Winkle and award-winning vocalist Sonya Isaacs. Album highlights include the title track, the up-tempo “Sweet Rosa Lee,” “Lower Than Lonesome,” “I Think Of You,” “Bad News At Home,” “Our Last Goodbye,” the Reno & Smiley classic “Trail Of Sorrow” and the Lefty Frizzell classic “Always Late” with guest vocals by David Frizzell.

Lady Antebellum Wraps European Leg With A Sold Out Show at London’s 02 Arena

LADY ANTEBELLUM EMBARKS ON A “LONG STRETCH OF LOVE” WITH
NEW SINGLE AND WHEELS UP 2015 TOUR

The Trio Wraps European Leg With A Sold Out Show at London’s 02 Arena Last Night

Nashville, TN – March 9, 2015 – From the European leg of their headlining WHEELS UP 2015 TOUR, ACM “Vocal Group of the Year” nominee Lady Antebellum is releasing the up-tempo “Long Stretch Of Love” as the new single from their fifth studio album 747. With it’s hypnotically driving beat and Celtic-inspired instrumentation, the new track has already hit airwaves and arenas across Europe but is officially available at Country Radio in the US today.

Written by the trio and Josh Kear, “Long Stretch of Love" has already resonated with critics, being hailed a “crisp, pulsating track that highlights Lady A’s knack for memorable song structure” (Billboardand a “swirling rock opener with a Fleetwood Mac vibe” (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel).

"'Long Stretch Of Love' sounds like we feel right now…it's bold, upbeat and fresh," said Lady A's Hillary Scott. "It's the perfect song to go into a new tour with…in fact, we should kick our set off with it every night!"

"What really makes this song special and different to me is how we used an uncommon instrument called a Woodrow, which brings an Appalachian feel into this high energy track,” said 747 producer Nathan Chapman.  “That unique sound combined with their vocals— which may be the most powerful Lady A has ever sounded— it just leaves the listener breathless.”

The group's universal appeal continues to resonate with fans and media overseas, prompting critics to proclaim Lady A is "responsibile for pushing country music around the world" (Entertainment Focus) and raving the trio's live show is "inspiring" with "whopping singalong anthems" (London Evening Standard). Up next, the band will continue to trek across the globe for the Australian leg before returning to the states for their headlining WHEELS UP 2015 TOUR presented by Quicken Loans in time for the 50th Annual ACM Awards airing live from Dallas, TX on April 19th on CBS where they are currently nominated for "Vocal Group of the Year." The North American leg of their WHEELS UP 2015 TOUR begins May 1 in Lubbock, TX.
