Sammy Sadler Tour with Ken Mellons and Buddy Jewell

Sammy Sadler Launches his 2015 Takin' the Country Back Tour with Ken Mellons and  Buddy Jewell

Three Classic Country Stars Hit the Road Together for the First Time to Revitalize Classic Country Music from Coast to Coast
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (January 7, 2014) – Sammy Sadler's country music career was placed on hold after being left for dead in the infamous Murder on Music Row shooting in 1989. This event changed his life and country music career forever and with the 26th anniversary of this tragedy, Sammy is rebooting his career and hitting the road with Ken Mellons and Buddy Jewell on his new "Takin' The Country Back Tour." Sammy says it best, "In a blink of an eye I lost a friend and my career for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. One day I went from being on the Billboard, Cashbox, and Indie World Charts to focusing on recovering. Now I'm back and ready to take back what was taken from me - Country Music."

The Takin' The Country Back Tour will feature music from Sammy's upcoming album 'Everything's Gonna Be Alright' and his latest release, 'Heart Shaped Like Texas.' Sammy will be joined by Buddy Jewell who was the winner of the first Nashville Star and topped the charts with his Clint Black produced debut album 'Buddy Jewell' and Ken Mellons, the original Jukebox Junkie, will round out the tour with fan classic hits like "Jukebox Junkie", "Rub-A-Dubbin" and "Working for the Weekend." The team spent the summer fine tuning the tour and will begin touring with their band at festivals, fairs and venues across North America.

Concurrent with the tour, Sammy is donating 100% of all download proceeds from his latest single, "In America" to the men and women that serve or have served our country. The single is available on iTunes, CDBaby or Amazon and is available for purchase now. "I've had my sacrifices, but those are nothing like the sacrifices the members of our military make every day to protect our freedom," said Sammy, "I have many people in my life helping me get prepared to re-launch my career and I wanted to give something back to those that dedicate their lives to defend America."

About Sammy Sadler:
Born in Memphis, Tennessee and now living in Texas, Sadler has been recording music since 1986 and is preparing to embark on a nationwide tour. Sammy will promote his past and current music, launch his upcoming album and promote his soon to be released autobiography.

About Ken Mellons:

Channel: ABC

Details: Rising country artist Frankie Ballard will kick off the New Year with a performance of his smash hit “Sunshine & Whiskey." This marks the talented singer-guitarist's second consecutive GOLD-certified #1 hit from his current album SUNSHINE & WHISKEY.  Ballard will also give a sneak peek of his brand new single "Young & Crazy" that will hit country radio later this month.

Ballard is on the rise with his current album SUNSHINE & WHISKEY (Warner Bros. Records) delivering consecutive #1, GOLD-certified smashes “Helluva Life” and "Sunshine & Whiskey," debuting in the Top 5 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart and garnering critical acclaim as “required listening” by ROLLING STONE. Produced by Marshall Altman (Marc Broussard), the project captures Ballard’s unique blend of blues-infused, country rock and his undeniable guitar prowess on every song. The talented singer-guitarist made the move to Nashville in 2009 from Battle Creek, MI, to pursue music. He drew on his working class values, performing every chance he could, honing his guitar and songwriting skills. He steadily built a loyal fan base and took the time to grow as an artist and an individual. All of these experiences culminated in selling over 1.4 million tracks to date. Just off the road from his first headlining run – LIGHT ‘EM UP TOUR – as part of the exclusive Live Nation Ones To Watch with Skype, the talented showman will amp it up even further next year on Florida Georgia Line's 2015 ANYTHING GOES Tour. A road warrior, Ballard has previously opened for Jake Owen, Rascal Flatts, Kenny Chesney, Taylor Swift and longtime idol Bob Seger.

Hailed as a "country-rock-blues guitar hero in the making" by the Los Angeles Times, five-time GRAMMY nominee and CMA Award-winning artist Hunter Hayes is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who roared onto the music scene in 2011 with his Platinum-selling, No. one self-titled debut album on Atlantic Records. Ray Price Legacy Leads 2015 With New Single

Ray Price Legacy Leads 2015 With New Single, ESPN Video Soundtrack, TV Tribute, "Best Of" Accolades & More

"I Wish I Was 18 Again" Released To Country Radio;
Country's Family Reunion Tribute Airs January 9 On RFD-TV

Nashville, TN (January 6, 2015) - Ray Price's phenomenal musical legacy leads off 2015 with a new single at Country radio, continued exposure via ESPN commercials, a TV tribute, "Best Of" accolades and more.  The Sonny Throckmorton-penned classic, "I Wish I Was 18 Again," resonates with emotion and Price's incomparable vocal.  Previously a Top 40 for the inimitable George Burns, the song is given new life - and insight with Ray's interpretation.  The single lands as ESPN-TV continues airing College Football Playoff ads soundtracked by Price's "For The Good Times" and Friday, Country's Family Reunion Tribute To Ray Price will air on RFD-TV.

The Country Music Hall of Famer's last musical offering, Beauty Is ... the final sessions (Amerimonte Records) garnered a unique Honorable Mention on's The 10 Best Country Albums of 2014 list and grabbed the #1 spot on's Top 10 Albums list.  The disc debuted at #22 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart, giving Ray his highest solo appearance on that chart in over three decades.   Additionally, his duet with Martina McBride, "An Affair To Remember," scored as #8 on the Hotdisc International Chart's Top 30 Most Popular Songs of 2014 list after three consecutive weeks at #1.

"It amazes me," notes Janie Price of the media attention her late husband continues to command.  "Ray passed away a little over a year ago, and folks still love hearing him sing.  He'd be so proud."

Fans continue to clamor for copies of the album, following the trend set the week of its April 2014 release when the disc sold out on, and rocketed to #1 on Amazon's Best Country Albums list.  A top-seller at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store® locations nationwide, the CD was the top-selling disc at Ernest Tubb Records Stores in May, and was named CD of the Month by Smart Choice Music (UK).  Nationally, Hastings Stores count the title as the #35 top-selling Country album of 2014, and Beauty Is ... kicked off the New Year as Amazon's # 3 Top Rated Country Album.

Janie Price appeared on Huckabee in December and, in November, Texas Music Scene aired a special "Backstage Pass on Ray Price's Final Album."  Honors and proclamations for Price and this iconic project, produced by Grammy Award-winner Fred Foster, abound.  The Grand Ole Opry saluted Ray with performances by The Oak Ridge Boys, Chris Janson, Lynn Anderson, Larry Gatlin and Mary Sarah; Tennessee Governor Jimmy Haslam issued a Proclamation for Beauty Is ...;Nashville's Mayor Karl Dean issued a Certificate of Recognition, while the Mayor of Tullahoma, TN declared December 4 Janie Price Day.  The Ameripolitan Music Awards in Austin, TX bestowed the Master Award to the singer in February.
