CHELSEA BAIN TRADES

CHELSEA BAIN TRADES CONCERT STAGE FOR EQUESTRIAN STAGE FOR TWO 10 DAYS
Competing in American Paint Horse World Championship Show

(Nashville, Tennessee...) - Most of the 300,000+ "Likes" on Chelsea Bain's Facebook page know her as a rockin' country singer/songwriter whose concerts at NASCAR races draw fans from across the nation. Following three performances at the Texas Motor Speedway last weekend, Chelsea traded her microphone for reins to compete in the 2014 APHA (American Paint Horse Association) World Championship Show in Ft. Worth, Texas. A 10-time National Champion, Chelsea will be competing on her horse Sensational Blonde, or "Barbie," as she is more affectionately known through November 15.

Chelsea Bain and Barbie in "Chrome" Magazine
The "Paint Horse Journal," the official publication of the APHA, recently listed Sensational Blonde as one of the top world show point earners of all time. The October issue of "Chrome," one of the top equestrian magazines, features a multi-page article about Chelsea, her love of horses and how she fits training and competing in between recording, promoting her music and touring.

"We had horses all our lives and grew up on a ranch, but I'm the only one who really fell in love with the horses," she told the magazine. "I started out riding rodeo, roping and barrel horses. I think I did my first barrel race when I was 4--I basically stole my uncle's roping horse and tried to turn it into a barrel horse."

The article included a video with Chelsea's music as the backdrop, and it can be viewed here. The entire feature can be read here.

On the music front, Chelsea has been in the studio with award-winning producer Michael Knox (Jason Aldean, Montgomery Gentry) and just released a four-song EP, entitled Never Ever Gone to iTunes. She headlined the Webasto/Bass Pro Shops Stage at all three NASCAR races at the Texas Motor Speedway October 31, November 1 & 2.

MOONLIGHT SOCIAL Wins Final Four Slot in Austin

MOONLIGHT SOCIAL COVERING GROUND IN NATIONAL CONTEST PARTICIPATION
Wins Final Four Slot in Austin, Advances in Indstruktibl Clothing Bracket

Austin, TX - Moonlight Social, the dynamic country music duo made up of former University of Texas bandmates Jeremy Burchard and Jennica Scott, invites your participation as they proceed to the next rounds of The Recording Conservatory of Austin's (TRCoA) "Unsigned Artists Competition," and Indstruktibl Clothing's "IND Phenom 2014 Talent Search."

Moonlight Social, the only country band to win a coveted final four slot in TRCoA's challenge, ranked second of 25 finalists and are promoting two studio-based videos for their songs "The Better Part" and "Brothers" to win a $2,000 cash prize, 100 studio hours, a consultation with a well-known entertainment attorney and more. The decision is made up of equal votes by a panel of industry judges (50%) and by fan interaction (50%); the final ranking will be announced Monday, November 10th, 2014. The videos for "The Better Part" and "Brothers" are now available to view on YouTube.

Advancing past the first round of the tournament-style Indstruktibl Clothing "IND Phenom 2014 Talent Search," voting for Moonlight Social during the next West Division bracket position commences on November 18, 2014. Moonlight Social, which was handpicked alongside 23 other artists/bands, is competing for a sponsorship with Indstruktibl Clothing, cash and other great prizes.

"Being selected from thousands of other bands in these competitions is incredible," Burchard stated. "Seeing so many fans, industry folk, and companies alike react so positively to our music is exciting and lets us know our hard work is paying off! Being one of the only country bands in each of these competitions is just the cherry on top."

Moonlight Social shows a penchant for flowing melodies, poignant lyrics and powerful vocals and offers a sound that is wholly accessible yet undeniably refreshing. Since being founded in early 2011, they released a debut self-produced EP (May 2011), received glowing reviews for the full-length debut Heading South produced by Matt Noveskey (Blue October's bassist), and been rewarded with numerous, career-changing opportunities. Included in these achievements are: a SXSW showcase as selected by nine-time GRAMMY-winner Ray Benson, winning a GRAMMY-sponsored showcase from the board of governors for the Texas Chapter of The Recording Academy, beating out nearly 100 Austin bands to win the 2011 Austin Chronicle Sound Wars, being crowned the victor of the GRAMMY-sponsored"Show Us Your Hits" competition, and having the song "Neither Are You" chosen as judge's selection for the Indaba Music songwriting showcase.

In 2013, Moonlight Social was named one of the Best New Bands in Austin and was featured as a rising artist on Nashville-produced TV show, "Welcome To Indie Country."  In 2014 the duo graced the stage of the sold-out Country USA Festival in Wisconsin, represented Texas at Indie Week Canada 2014, and is touring to Georgia to play Zac Brown's Southern Ground Social Club.

Moonlight Social
toured Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin and more sharing the stage with
Eli Young Band, Florida Georgia Line, Jack Ingram, Hayes Carll, Thomas Rhett, The Dirty River Boys, Two Tons of Steel, and many more.

Bill Anderson’s “Old Army Hat” Music Video

Bill Anderson’s “Old Army Hat” Music Video
Appearances on Big D & Bubba, Grand Ole Opry; Feature in Country Weekly

NASHVILLE, TN -- November 7, 2014 -- On Veterans Day—Tuesday, Nov. 11—CMT Pure and CMT.com will present the exclusive world television premiere of Bill Anderson’s heart-wrenching new music video, “Old Army Hat” across CMT Pure, CMT.com and the CMT Artists app.  CMT Pure will debut at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Eastern time and the video will be available at BillAnderson.CMT.com.
In addition to the visibility on CMT, Anderson will make an appearance on Big D & Bubba’s syndicated radio show on Nov. 11 to talk about “Old Army Hat.” This week’s issue of Country Weekly included Anderson in their “Behind The Song” feature.  He will perform the song on Veteran’s Day at the Grand Ole Opry.  Anderson will also perform “Old Army Hat” for the students at Mt. Juliet Christian Academy at 1:30 p.m. for their Veteran’s Day Celebration.
Anderson, whose half-century of songwriting hits range from “City Lights” to “Whiskey Lullaby” and “Give It Away,” wrote and recorded “Old Army Hat” after hearing about a visit 91-year-old Army veteran Ed Haley made to the World War II memorial in Washington, D. C.
As was his usual, Haley wore his Army hat for the occasion—and that’s where the drama the song and video chronicle starts.  The last scene will have you reaching for the Kleenex.
Still touring, recording and starring on the Grand Ole Opry, the eternally youthful Anderson is famous for the emotional intensity he brings to his songs.  His intimate and confiding vocal style has yielded him seven No. 1 and 29 Top 10 singles—and it continues to serve him magnificently in “Old Army Hat.”
“That ‘greatest generation’ of soldiers is passing away quickly now,” Anderson observes.  “We need to keep their memory alive—not for nostalgia’s sake—but as a reminder of what America can achieve at its best.  And, believe me, Ed Haley was one of the best.  His love of country and sense of duty have never faltered.”
Anderson is a member of both the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.
“Old Army Hat” is from Anderson’s current Sony/RED album, Life!

CMA Awards 2014 To Rock Nashville

The big CMA day started off with a big free concert played outside of the Bridgestone arena by Keith Urban for the Good Morning America show. People started lining up at 7pm the night before in the pouring rain to see him and it poured rain all through his show. He sang "Stupid Boy" and "Good Thing" for the airing. Miranda Lambert was on GMA as well where she signed a visor in a RAM truck, who she is now a spokesperson for, to be auctioned off for Mutt Nation Foundation.

Good Morning America also announced the winners for "CMA Music Event" going to Keith & Miranda for their hit "We Were us" and Video of the Year went to Dierks Bentley for "Drunk on a Plane"

On to the big night! Kenny Chesney opened the show with the excellent "American Kids" followed by Miranda Lambert teaming up with Meghan Trainor for her catchy hit "All About That Bass".

Brad Paisley & Carrie Underwood hosted for their 7th year and started with their cute monologue. This year Carrie is pregnant so Brad was teasing her a bit talking about post-partum depression and how now all of country music will have PPTSD - Post Partum Taylor Swift Depression. Taking into the song "Who's gonna fill her shoes"!

The big winners of the night in order of presentation:
Single:  "Automatic" by Miranda Lambert
Song: "Follow Your Arrow" Kacey Musgraves
New Artist: Brett Eldridge
Duo: Florida Georgia Line
Album: " Platinum" by Minanda Lambert
Group: Little Big Town'
Male vocalist: Blake Shelton
Female vocalist:Miranda Lambert
Entertainer: Luke Bryan

The Irving Waugh Award of Excellence was given to Vince Gill. Vince has won 18 CMA's and has hosted the show for 12 years. He is a Country Music Hall of Fame and Grand Ole Opry Member and a winner of 20 Grammy Awards as well.

"Irving Waugh is 94 years old and is responsible for putting the CMA Awrds on television," Vince Gill said, "and always a consumate gentleman."

The CMA award winners always prove themselves to be the most humble of their winnings, more than in any of the other music genres.Miranda Lambert "truly appreciating that God allows ther to do this for her life" and Blake Shelton "dedicating his award for male vocalist to Earl Thomas Conley who had never won" Garth Brooks Presented to Luke Bryan the Entertainer Award. Luke had never met Garth before and was amazed that he was receiving it from him! "Later he said "That was crazy to me! I remember when I was opening shows for Kenny Chesney and seeing all the fans," he said. "When we launched into stadiums and arenas, I thought this was a new sensation to me. Live shows are where fans are escaping their lives and getting absorbed into the moment of al ive show to enjoy themselves. And that is wonderful."

Outside the Bridgestone Arena was packed as well, with people who could not get into see the show, and the majority of the crowd also predicted Luke Bryan as the winner of the Entertainer award. They were all asked to sing pieces of Luke's songs by newsmen and were having a great time just as if they were inside.

All the performances were wonderful. Some of the top favorites were Lady Antebellum, singing "Hey Bartender." They gave light-up wristbands for the audience to wear flashing red, green, and blue lights. Little Big Town sang "Day Drinkin'" in neon apparel with neon-clad drummers behind them, and were joined by Ariana Grande, also in neon, for a rendition of her hit, "Bang Bang". Truly spectacular.

Blake Shelton was joined for his duo by Ashley Monroe, "We Don't Have to be Lonely Tonight." Carrie Underwood performed her phenomenal hit, "Something in the Water."

Michael McDonald of the Doobie Brothers was joine dby Jennifer Nettles, Hunter Hayes, and Hillary Scott for "Listen to the Music" and also closed the night with "Takin' It To the Streets" and kept on playing until the crowd was gone. It was a spectacular night!!!
