FIRST-TIME CMA NOMINEE THOMAS RHETT CELEBRATES SECOND CONSECUTIVE PLATINUM CERTIFIED NO. ONE OFF DEBUT ALBUM

Nashville, TN – Oct. 1, 2014 – CMA New Artist of the Year nominee Thomas Rhett celebrated his Platinum certified chart-topper “Get Me Some of That” yesterday afternoon at Nashville’s The Sutler. The smash hit is the second consecutive No. one off his debut album IT GOES LIKE THIS (The Valory Music Co.), preceded by his Platinum-certified three-week No. one “It Goes Like This.”

“Without Country Radio, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do and get our music out there to the fans,” said Thomas Rhett. “So, I want to give them a shout-out for getting behind me and really believing in what we’re doing. And, special thanks and congrats to Cole, Michael and my dad for writing this song, and Luke for producing...it's so cool getting to collaborate in these moments with your family and your friends."

Thomas Rhett recently released “Make Me Wanna” to Country radio and announced he’ll join Justin Moore as direct support for the fall leg of his Off The Beaten Path Tour beginning Oct. 23. The new shows follow summer dates with Miranda Lambert and previous tours with Jason Aldean, Jake Owen and Brantley Gilbert.

Twang and Round Release Debut EP Pour Another Round

AVJ Records’ Duo, Twang and Round, Release Debut EP, Pour Another Round
Follow Their 21-Day Journey to Release

Nashville, TN, October 1, 2014….Newcomers, Twang and Round, will make their AVJ Records debut October 21, 2014, with the release of a new five-song EP, Pour Another Round. The duo will chronicle the 21 days leading up to the release with comedic daily escapades accompanied by their chicken hawk mascot, Merle (pictured below). Pre-order the EP here.
Initially introduced on Average Joes Entertainment's popular Mud Digger compilation series, Twang and Round’s Pour Another Round, showcases their unique musical style of country/hip-hop/southern rock. Fans will remember Vernon Roach (“Kuntry Twang”) and Brad Davis (“Lil’ Round”) from their recently released memorable video, “All Wired Up.” The video, featuring their mascot, Merle, (whom you’ll be seeing a lot of in the coming weeks), perfectly depicts Twang and Round’s colorful personalities while exposing their entertaining hunting antics. The storyline was based on a redneck dream come true.

From the catchy title track, “Pour Another Round,” to the fun-loving, “All Wired Up,” to the infectious, “Grand Daddy Long Legs,” and the foreboding “Outlaw Kingz,” the EP captures the same entertaining spirit as the duo’s live shows. The EP was executive produced Shannon (“Fat Shan”) Houchins.
“We had an awesome team to work with on this EP, including Phivestarr Productions' Jared Scuillo and DJ K.O,” said Kuntry Twang and Lil’ Round. “We can’t wait for our fans to hear our new music, and we’re excited to connect with everyone out on the road this fall.
Twang And Round’s influences span across every genre ranging from Creedence Clearwater Revival, Black Crows, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, to UGK, Outkast, Beastie Boys, to Merle Haggard and Waylon Jennings. Teenage friends, the Kentucky natives have built a bridge between all these genres to create their own unique sound.
Track List:
1. Pour Another Round
2. All Wired Up
3. Grand Daddy Long Legs (f/Tyler Wood from Discovery Channel’s hit show, “Moonshiners”)
4. How I Roll (f/Charlie Farley)
5. Outlaw Kingz
About Twang and Round:
Managed by Fly South Music Group, Twang And Round are signed to Nashville-based AVJ Records. The musical career of Vernon Roach (a.k.a "Kuntry Twang") and Brad Davis (a.k.a "Lil Round") began in their early teens with a mutual love of music, recording, producing, and engineering. Discovering ways that they complement each other they found that the style of music they make commanded one to listen closely. Both hail from Kentucky.

LARRY GATLIN AND BILLY DEAN TAKE ON TERRORISTS

LARRY GATLIN AND BILLY DEAN TAKE ON TERRORISTS IN
NEW SONG, "AMERICAN WITH A REMINGTON"

In Less than 24 Hours, Video Reaches Over Five Million on Facebook
Nashville, Tenn. (October 1, 2014) - Yesterday, while in between shows in Branson, Missouri, GRAMMY® Award-winning country music singers Larry Gatlin and Billy Dean got together to write a song about an issue weighing on their minds.

The recent beheadings of innocent people prompted Gatlin and Dean to pen "American With A Remington."  The song was written in just a few hours and an acoustic video performance of the tune was immediately uploaded directly to Facebook.  In less than 24 hours, the video has reached more than five million people.

"Folks are stirred up about this stuff and they should be," says Gatlin.  "These gutless, worthless terrorist cowards are attacking innocent people and we as a nation won't stand for it.  We're pissed off and we hope this song delivers a message to the bad guys."

Dean adds, "The feedback we have gotten from this song has been overwhelming and with good reason.  It has reached over five million people on Facebook in just a few hours, which tells us something about the temperature of the situation.  People are mad as hell and there's an army of Americans who know how to use a gun and who respect life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."

View the acoustic performance of "American With A Remington" on YouTube by clicking HERE.  In the days to come, Gatlin and Dean are planning to record a studio version of the song and release it through iTunes and other digital media platforms.

Nashville Audience Encouraged to Bring an Unwrapped Toy to the Taping to Make the Holidays Brighter for Children in Need
NASHVILLE – Some of the most powerful and emotionally moving voices in music come together to celebrate the holidays on “CMA Country Christmas,” which tapes in front of a live audience Friday, Nov. 7 (7:30 PM/CT), at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn. The special, which features Jennifer Nettles hosting for the fifth year, airs this holiday season on the ABC Television Network.
“After being the host of ‘CMA Country Christmas,’ for five years now, it is hard to pick one thing I love about it. There are so many fun moments,” Nettles said. “Whether it is the performances or duets, getting to perform Christmas songs with great artists is really fun for me.  It’s really a fun show all around.”
Artists scheduled to perform and celebrate the season include Dan + Shay, Brett Eldredge, Sara Evans, Lucy Hale, Hunter Hayes, Little Big Town, Idina Menzel, Nettles, LeAnn Rimes, Michael W. Smith, and Carrie Underwood.
“The taping for ‘CMA Country Christmas’ is a jump-start for the holiday season and has become a family tradition for many Nashville residents,” said Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer. “Adding to the celebration is our annual toy drive, which provides new toys for children in need, shining a spotlight on a worthy endeavor in a way that reflects the values and giving nature of our artists, the industry, and this city.”
For the third year, audience members are being encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the taping to help make the holidays brighter for Nashville area children. The Nashville-based non-profit group Generosity will have volunteers on site with specially marked bins to collect toys beginning at 5:00 PM/CT on Nov. 7. In 2013, the group collected more than 5,000 toys.
“Our artist community is extremely generous and so are our fans,” Trahern said. “It is our goal to make sure no child goes without a present this Christmas and we are grateful to our partners at Generosity for helping to make this a dream come true for children in Nashville.”
