“It is great to have Little Big Town back to host ‘Country’s Night to Rock’,” said Deaton. “They have impeccable timing, a terrific sense of humor, the respect of the artistic community, and the admiration of the fans. They are the perfect ensemble cast to host this special.”
Critically acclaimed Country group Little Big Town – consisting of members Fairchild,Sweet, Kimberly Schlapman, and Jimi Westbrook – first entered the music scene more than 14 years ago with hits such as “Boondocks,” “Bring It On Home,” “Good As Gone,” and the Grammy-nominated single “Little White Church.” The quartet’s fifth studio album Tornado was released on Sept. 11, 2012 and debuted at the top of the Billboard Country Chart where it stayed in the No. 1 position for five consecutive weeks. The album has been certified Platinum with sales of more than 1 million copies.
Tornado, produced by Jay Joyce, includes 2x Platinum-selling No. 1 single “Pontoon” and follow-up single and title-track “Tornado,” which also peaked in the No. 1 position. The Grammy-nominated track, “Your Side of the Bed” and fan-favorite “Sober” are also featured on the album.
Collectively, the group has earned more than 25 award nominations, including 15 CMA Awards nods. They have taken home CMA Awards trophies for CMA Single of the Year (2012, “Pontoon”) and CMA Vocal Group of the Year (2012, 2013). They have also won a Grammy Award for Best Country Group/Duo Performance (“Pontoon”) and an Emmy (Outstanding Original Song, “Good Afternoon”). Last year, the foursome completed their sold-out headlining tour, “The Tornado Tour,”which visited more than 25 theaters in the U.S. and Canada and also recently wrapped a tour with Keith Urban performing in more than 50 cities in North America.
Little Big Town recently completed their sixth studio album working again with producer Joyce. The first single off of the new album entitled “Day Drinking” will be available at iTunes June 2 and will officially hit Country radio June 10. The album is set for release later this year. THE BOSSHOSS gewinnen WORLD MUSIC AWARD

THE BOSSHOSS gewinnen WORLD MUSIC AWARD

The BossHoss waren in gleich vier (!)

Merke: Don`t mess with the Cowboys!

STEVE GULLEY IS BACK TO HIS ROOTS

STEVE GULLEY IS BACK TO HIS ROOTS
WITH “FAMILY, FRIENDS & FELLOWSHIP”
New Single Released From His first Gospel Album Coming July 22nd

Nashville, TN (May 28, 2014)   Steve Gulley is back to his roots with his new single and album FAMILY, FRIENDS & FELLOWSHIP on Rural Rhythm Records.  The Gulley family name enjoys a rich musical heritage that reaches across three generations with strong roots in gospel music.  It starts with long time radio personality Don Gulley who was a founding member of the bluegrass group the Pinnacle Mountain Boys.  Steve Gulley performed for many years with Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, was a founding member of Bluegrass supergroups Mountain Heart and Grasstowne, was a regular featured performer at Renfro Valley and now performs with Dale Ann Bradley.   Finally Steve’s son, Brad Gulley, is an emerging solo artist in Bluegrass and Roots music who previously fronted Cumberland River.

When Steve first started putting together the songs for FAMILY, FRIENDS & FELLOWSHIP, he quickly realized why he had felt the call to do this recording.  So much of the music that he kept coming back to during the selection process was the music of his youth and songs with messages that helped strengthen his faith and make his spiritual walk so much more meaningful.   As Steve recalls, “Having come to know the Lord at an early age and having been brought up in a musical and Christian home, songs of faith were at the very fiber of our family unit and individual being. The old "red book" Baptist hymnal was a staple in our little mountain church house and is filled with some of my very favorite songs of all time.” You'll find some of those on this album as well as some new original tunes all done in bluegrass, country - flavored and modern acoustic arrangements.

Joining Steve on his FAMILY, FRIENDS & FELLOWSHIP album is an incredible list of family and friend All-Star performers and musicians who were hand-picked to help make the songs and their message come to life in the most special way possible.  Guest performers on this album include Doyle Lawson, Joe Mullins, Dale Ann Bradley, Rickey Wasson, Kenny & Amanda Smith, Les Butler, Don Gulley, Vic Graves, Debbie Gulley, Linda Gulley and Brad Gulley.  They are backed by an impressive list of musicians including Adam Steffey, Tim Stafford, Ron Stewart, Mark Fain, Phil Leadbetter, Alan Bibey, Jason Burleson, Brandon Godman, Stuart Wyrick, Scott Powers, Bryan Turner, Gary Robinson, Jr. and Mark Laws.

“My goal for this album is to share my spiritual journey through music that will hopefully make the listener think, reflect, reminisce and rejoice all while lifting their spirits and warming their soul”Steve Gulley (Singer, Songwriter, Producer)

Produced by Steve Gulley and recorded at the Curve Recording Studios in Cumberland Gap Tennessee, FAMILY, FRIENDS & FELLOWSHIP contains 14 songs with a wide range of songwriters including many Steve Gulley original songs along with songs written by contemporary songwriters and standards by Ronny Hinson, Hank Williams, G.T. Speer, E.M. Bartlett, Carl Story, Gary Kidwell and more.

Steve’s first single from the album certainly accomplishes his goal with the uplifting gospel standard “Victory In Jesus” which has a fresh feel with those Steve Gulley signature vocals and performed by an All-Star Bluegrass cast including Tim Stafford (Guitar), Adam Steffey (Mandolin), Ron Stewart (Banjo & Fiddle), Mark Fain (Bass) with harmony vocals by Bryan Turner.

KENNY ROGERS BENEFIT CONCERT ON JUNE 1st

KENNY ROGERS SET TO VISIT KENNY ROGERS CHILDREN'S CENTER AND HOST BENEFIT CONCERT ON JUNE 1st

KENNY ROGERS CHILDREN'S CENTER SUPPORTS CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS FOR CLOSE TO 40 YEARS
SIKESTON, MO. (May 27, 2014) – Not very many performers can say they've been in the “business” for over 50 years.  Not many can say they've played an instrumental role in the success of an organization that solely exists for the purpose of helping children with special needs.  Not many can say they've returned five times throughout the years to hold concerts and continue to raise money for that organization.  And certainly not many can say they've held an interest in that same organization for close to 40 years!  But yes, Kenny Rogers has certainly earned his name on the building of that very organization…The Kenny Rogers Children’s Center in Sikeston, Missouri.

“It’s scary to think about where the Center would be today if it weren't for Kenny Rogers.  Or rather, where the Center would NOT be today”, states Michelle Fayette, Executive Director of the Center.  “The current building we are in today was made possible through Kenny’s efforts, the expansions, new equipment, updated equipment, and so much more, all are because he has cared enough throughout the years to continue his efforts in furthering our mission.  You definitely can't make old friends like that!  Thousands of children have come through these doors and have received life-changing therapies all because of him,” she adds.  The Center covers numerous counties in Southeast Missouri and provides therapy to approximately 450 children on a monthly basis.”

On June 1, Kenny Rogers will take the stage for another benefit concert in Sikeston, Missouri to once again raise money for the Kenny Rogers Children’s Center.

After his last benefit concert in 2009, the Center added a 7,000-square-foot expansion that was completed in 2011.  It includes an indoor, all handicap accessible therapeutic play structure, several additional therapy rooms, a conference room, a therapy restroom, a rock wall, a zip line and what is now the newly completed KRCC Center for Gait and Motion Analysis Lab.

“It’s hard to remember just how cramped we were before this because we've gotten accustomed to the new space now,” says Brandy Dallas, Clinical Coordinator and Physical Therapist at the Center.  “We were able to increase our therapy staff by adding six and were able to move more children off the waiting lists,” she added.  The Center currently has a total of 26 employees – six office personnel, 13 Occupational Therapists, two Physical Therapists, two Physical Therapy Assistants and three Speech Therapists.  “That’s a far cry from the original Scott-Mississippi-New Madrid Counties United Cerebral Palsy Center that opened its doors with five clients, one paid employee, two foster grandparents and several other volunteers,” states Fayette.

The Center continues to provide therapy services at no charge to the families, as they have for over 40 years now.  “We are very proud to have this state-of-the-art facility in Southeast Missouri.  It truly is a one-of-a-kind facility where children receive not only the therapy that they need, but receive some of the highest quality in the nation,” states Charlotte York, President of the Board for the Kenny Rogers Children’s Center.  “The fact that Kenny Rogers is still involved with the Center shows how passionate he is about our mission and what the Center is doing.  We are so blessed to have his continued support and can't wait to see him at the upcoming concert,” she adds.

The benefit concert is June 1, 2014 at 7:00 pm at the Sikeston Field House in Sikeston, Missouri.  Tickets are available at www.kennyrogerscenter.org, or by phone at 877-471-0397.
