CD: Jerrod Niemann – Free The Music

Jerrod Niemann – Free The Music

1. Free the Music 3:41 2. Whiskey Kind of Way 3:32 3. Get On Up 3:19 4. I'll Have to Kill the Pain 3:25 5. Only God Could Love You More 3:29 6. Shinin' on Me 3:14 7. Honky Tonk Fever 3:25 8. Guessing Games 3:44 9. It Won't Matter Anymore 2:49 10. All About You 3:26 11. Real Women Drink Beer 3:11 12. Fraction of a Man 4:15

Auch bei It Won't Matter Anymore, Get on Up und Shinin' on Me ist das zu spüren. All About You zählt wohl zu den „klassischen“ Balladen. Ganz anders dagegen ist Only God Could Love You More.
I'll Have to Kill the Pain und Whiskey Kind of Way.

Oh, don't the truth comes out when you're drinkin':
I've been drinkin' about her all day.
Guess I still love her in a whiskey kind of way“

Guessing Games

CHARLIE DANIELS TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM APRIL 1ST

CHARLIE DANIELS TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM APRIL 1ST
OFF THE GRID - DOIN' IT DYLAN

Daniels set for The Today Show, Huckabee, Hannity, ABC NewsNow, SiriusXM's "Artist Confidential", The Better Show, Morning Joe, Taking Stock, The Big Interview with Dan Rather, Kathie Lee & Co podcast and more!!!

New York, NY (March 27, 2014) – Charlie Daniels, best known for his No. 1 country hit "The Devil Went Down to Georgia," which became a platinum single, topped both country and pop charts, won a Grammy Award, earned three CMA trophies, became a cornerstone of the "Urban Cowboy" movie soundtrack and propelled Daniels’ Million Mile Reflections album to triple-platinum sales levels, is set to release a new album Off The Grid—Doin’ It Dylan on April 1, 2014.  In support of Off The Grid, Daniels will be making the media rounds including stops at Kathie Lee & Co. (March 26th), Huckabee (March 29th), Morning Joe (March 31st), Access Hollywood (March 31st), Hannity (March 31st), Fox 411 (March 31st), The Artie Lange Show (March 31st), SiriusXM 'Artist Confidential' (March 31st), The Today Show (April 1st), ABC NewsNow (April 1st), The Better Show (April 6th), The Cain Conversation and more!

Off The Grid –Doin’ It Dylan, is yet another example of the seemingly endless reservoirs of musical creativity that the now 77 year young Daniels can effortlessly draw upon.  The "playing the legend forward" beauty and respect in his tribute to Dylan doesn't go unnoticed in the tracks.

The new collection contains Daniels’ signature deft musical delivery on ten of Dylan’s finest writings:
  • Tangled Up In Blue
  • Times They Are a Changin’
  • I’ll Be Your Baby Tonight
  • Gotta Serve Somebody
  • I Shall Be Released
  • Country Pie
  • Mr. Tambourine Man
  • Hard Rains A Gonna Fall
  • Just Like A Woman
  • Quinn The Eskimo (The Mighty Quinn)

"In the early days, Dylan sang his songs accompanied by himself on guitar and harmonica and in the late sixties when he decided to add some other instruments to his records and concerts the purists, who had declared him poet laureate, prophet and spokesman for his generation, came apart at the seams, castigating him for defiling the purity of his genius with other musical influences," says Daniels.  "When Dylan came to town to record Nashville Skyline, due to my friendship with Bob Johnston, Dylan's producer at the time, I was blessed to be a guitar player in the studio band on that album and the next two, Self Portrait and New Morning, an experience that did a lot for my confidence, my career and legitimizing me as a serious musician."

Charlie Daniels throughout his 50 plus years of creating his own new definitions of music, has scored hits on rock, country, pop and Christian charts. Skilled on guitar, fiddle, and mandolin, his contributions to country and southern rock are legendary on the path of platinum that’s carried him to virtually every music industry award and accolade presented across multi-genres.

He was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in Jan. 2008 and has appeared in commercials for UPS and GEICO auto insurance, where he was featured playing fiddle in the television commercial.  His volunteer spirit, support of American troops and down-to-earth philosophy has solidified his reputation as a true American patriot and Christian.

Off The Grid will be released on Blue Hat Records in association with MRI and distributed by RED.

With the recent release of the AmeriMonte Record’s three song EP from Ray Price’s final album Beauty Is…, Ray’s iconic voice returns to the country scene.  In addition, nearly two years after his last appearance at the Gr and Ole Opry, stars will be singing hits and remembering the legend on April 17th, two days after the full album release. Beauty Is.. is a fitting encore for those of us who want more from the Tony Bennett of Country Music,” says Grammy award winning legend Lynn Anderson. “Sensitively produced by Fred Foster, these are truly timeless songs sung by the best.  Thanks For The Good Times, Ray.”

Tickets to the performance can be purchased at Opry.com. WSM’s Eddie Stubbs, a close friend of Ray, serves as the announcer for Opry Country Classics, including the April 17th broadcast.

CROSSPOINT ON THE RISE WITH NEW SINGLE“GOING HOME”

CROSSPOINT ON THE RISE WITH NEW SINGLE“GOING HOME”
Album Releasing On May 13th

Nashville, TN (March 27, 2014) – Rural Rhythm Records is proud to announce the release of the single “Going Home” from Bluegrass Gospel band Crosspoint. Hailing from Southeast Kentucky / East Tennesse and formed in 2008 Crosspoint will make their album debut on Rural Rhythm Christian with the release of their album We’re Gonna Rise releasing on May13th.

Produced by Steve Gulley and recorded at the Curve Studio in Cumberland Gap Tennessee, We’re Gonna Rise is the real deal as it goes for authentic, inspirational and fresh bluegrass gospel music.

"The music and men of Crosspoint represent something vital to the well being of so many of us - music with a message. I don't believe it's possible for anyone with a heart to listen to this music and not feel something both spiritually and emotionally. Great music from fine men who are truly dedicated to spreading the Gospel. It also helps that they're some of the finest acoustic musicians, singers and songwriters around. I'm so honored and humbled to have been asked to produce the new project, "We're Gonna Rise", their first for the Rural Rhythm Christian label. Full of wonderful, heartfelt songs with a purpose, this collection of music is sure to move you." - Steve Gulley - Singer/Songwriter/Producer

The album contains 12 powerful songs written by many top songwriters such as Kenny Hinson, Mark Wheeler, Kim Williams, Steve Gulley and 5 songs written by Crosspoint’s Gary Kidwell, Cleve May and Steve Partin.

"The band members’ faith played a major role in the creation of We’re Gonna Rise. “In doing this new album, our creative goals were simple…make the very best project possible that would uplift Christ and bring a blessing to people. As a Bluegrass Gospel Band, that is first and foremost our mission, to spread the gospel message. From day one, it was our intent to select what we felt was the right songs to convey that message, whether from our own writings or from time honored spirit- filled songs.” – Gary Kidwell

The band’s first self-titled 2011 release, Crosspoint, had an almost unprecedented seven of ten songs receiving airplay on Les Butler’s Front Porch Fellowship radio program, and the group was also nominated for New Artist of the Year in 2012 by the Front Porch Fellowship Fan Awards.   Now building on the success of their first album, We’re Gonna Rise will take Crosspoint to the next level and spread their music ministry to a larger audience.
