NASHVILLE, Tenn (Feb. 4, 2014) — Music virtuoso John Jorgenson, known for his blistering guitar licks and mastery of a broad musical palette, has earned a reputation as a world-class musician and guitarist — having collaborated with the likes of Elton John, Luciano Pavarotti, Bonnie Raitt, Bob Dylan and more. Regularly featured on acoustic and electric guitar, mandolin, bouzouki, clarinet, the saxophone, pedal steel, and vocals, Jorgenson has garnered recognition for contributing to numerous platinum-selling and GRAMMY Award-winning albums. Currently, the skillful multi-instrumentalist is heading into the studio with the John Jorgenson Bluegrass Band, his latest collaboration, featuring four legendary musicians: Jorgenson on guitar, mandolin and vocals; ace bluegrass/folk songwriter/vocalist/arranger Herb Pedersen (The Dillards, Old And In The Way, Earl Scruggs) on banjo, guitar and vocals; CMA Song of the Year songwriter Jon Randall (Emmylou Harris’ Nash Ramblers) on guitar and vocals; and highly sought after bluegrass veteran Mark Fain (Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder) on bass to record their first music together as a group.
The band will be recording new material at Sheryl Crow’s studio in Nashville, Tennessee, in early February. Their debut album is currently slated for release in August 2014, surrounding the 10th Annual Guitar Town Festival, where Jorgenson is “de-facto” creative director and plays a major role in handpicking some of the world’s most talented virtuoso guitarists to perform at the annual event. This is a highly anticipated debut effort from the four all-stars, who have been touring as a group since last July. Barry Mazor of Engine145.com/Wall Street Journal proclaims, “As their early shows are making excitingly clear to anyone who wouldn't already count on it, just hearing the line-up of artists involved, the new John Jorgenson Bluegrass Band combines an extraordinary amount of top caliber talent in one place, instrumental and vocal aces and hit-writing songwriters deeply experienced not only in bluegrass, but in hardcore country, rock and jazz, with a deep combined songbook to draw on and take off from at will—which they do."In addition to recording their first album as a group, the John Jorgenson Bluegrass Band is preparing for several major tour dates this year, including a tour of Norway and the UK, performances at the annual RockyGrass Festival in Lyons, Colorado; and headlining the Guitar Town Festival in Copper Mountain, Colorado. The John Jorgenson Bluegrass Band made its Grand Ole Opry debut last October.

Country Songstress SHERRY LYNN To Release
A BEAUTIFUL LIFE March 11
New CD Features Hit Duet With Country Legend Crystal Gayle
Nashville, TN (February 4, 2014) - Country songstress SHERRY LYNN is set to release her sophomore CD, A BEAUTIFUL LIFE, on March 11 under the Steal Heart Music imprint. The disc contains the New Jersey native's current chart-active single, the anthemic "Girls Will Be Girls," which hit radio programmers' desks via Play MPE and CDX last month. Penned by hit-makers Ashley Gorley, Bryan Simpson and Kelley Lovelace, the rowdy recap of modern femininity has already inspired a line dance by choreographers Bob and Marlene Peyre-Ferry. The album, produced by Ted Hewitt, also features Lynn's recent hit with Country legend Crystal Gayle. The duet, written by award-winning tunesmith Danny Wells ("Check Yes Or No," "These Days"), Jose Luis Pagan and Sarah Lenore, is the project's title track and the song Lynn performed on her Grand Ole Opry debut with Crystal.
The 10-track collection includes Lynn's previous hit single, "What A Day To Shake A Heartache," written by Kalii Palmer / Ronnie Kimball / Sandy Ramos. The fan favorite is another up-tempo pleaser; a vibrant, driving track topped with Sherry's signature powerhouse voice. Also drawing the attention of fans and industry veterans is the story-based mid-tempo "Slip Into Something Mexico." Fiddle riffs deftly interplay with Lynn's poignant vocal and bring a shine to the Joe Lickteig / Mike Lane / Tamika Tyler composition. With its tale of "big city" dreams, the grittier "So Much More" could be the story of Sherry's life - and she nails the Dave Tough / Justin Busch number with conviction and commitment.
This "small town" girl has definitely made it to the big time. In 2013, she not only made her Grand Ole Opry debut but entertained crowds at the CMA Music Festival as well. "Last year was huge for me," notes the vivacious brunette. "I played more shows at more prestigious venues, and the early response to the new music is exciting. I'm eager to see what 2014 brings."
Born in Woodbury, New Jersey and now splitting her time between Sewell, NJ and Nashville, TN, Sherry began her career in 2006 when she opened for Sammy Kershaw at Pitman, New Jersey's historic Broadway Theatre. Since then, she has released two CDs, a Christmas EP and has gone on to share the stage with Miranda Lambert, Crystal Gayle, the Oak Ridge Boys, LeAnn Rimes, Randy Houser, Gene Watson, John Rich, Chris Young and more.

STEVE WARINER ASKS FANS TO HELP CHOOSE SONGS FOR HIS CONCERT SET-LIST FOR THIS YEAR'S TOUR DATES
Voting Begins Today (Feb. 3) and Runs Through Feb. 28 at SteveWariner.com
Wariner Discusses Ten Essential Guitar Albums at MusicRadar.com
Four-time GRAMMY Award winner Steve Wariner will be hitting the road once again in April, promoting his recently released album, It Ain’t All Bad. For an artist who has achieved 14 No. 1 hits and nearly three dozen Top Ten hits, creating a concert set-list can be quite the task. This year, Wariner is asking his fans to help choose the songs that he will perform on tour.
“I’m always hearing from my fans that they loved all the songs I performed in concert, but they wish I had performed one particular song or another,” said Wariner. “I want to give them a voice in this year’s set list, and hopefully their song will make the cut. I can’t wait to see what they choose!”
With more than 50 hit singles to his credit, Wariner has a large selection of songs for his fans to choose from. In addition, he has written or co-written several hits for other artists, including “Longneck Bottle” for Garth Brooks, “Nothin’ But the Taillights” for Clint Black, “One Small Miracle” for Bryan White, and “Where the Blacktop Ends” for Keith Urban (among others), so fans may choose to vote for those songs as well.
Voting begins today, Monday, Feb. 3, and will continue through Friday, Feb. 28, 2014. To vote, fans should visit www.SteveWariner.com, go to the “Contact” section, fill out the form, and vote for up to five songs in the body of their message. Only one vote per e-mail address will be allowed. No votes will be accepted after midnight/central time on Feb. 28. A list of Wariner’s hit singles and songwriting credits can be found on the website in the “About Steve” section.
“Of course, I’ll also perform several songs from my new CD, It Ain’t All Bad, as well as an instrumental or two,” continued Wariner. “And since Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, the Del McCoury Band, Peter Tork, and Don Williams have all recently recorded my songs, I might occasionally perform my versions of those songs as well. I am really excited to create this set-list based on what I hear from the fans!”
The following concerts are the first to be on sale, with more dates to be announced soon:
04/05/2014: Schroeder Dance Hall (Goliad, TX)
04/26/2014: The Grand Theatre (Cartersville, GA) - acoustic show
05/08/2014: Birchmere Music Hall (Alexandria, VA)
05/09/2014: American Music Theatre (Lancaster, PA)
