About Aaron Lewis:
Aaron Lewis's 2011 first solo release, Town Line, debut to #1 on Billboard’s Country Album Chart.  The first single from that release, "Country Boy" featured the late George Jones and Charlie Daniels and has been certified Gold.  It earned Lewis multiple CMA, ACM and CMT Music Award nominations, while the accompanying video has been streamed over eighteen million times to date. Lewis recently completed a run of dates as the headlining act on the Jägermeister Country Tour, performing a majority of the songs from The Road.  The album was released by Blaster Records via Warner Music Nashville in late 2012. As the front man for the multi-platinum selling band Staind, Lewis is the songwriter and voice behind the most-played rock song of the past decade, "It's Been Awhile," in addition to three other #1 hits and eight Top Ten singles.

RALPH STANLEY AND RALPH STANLEY II WILL RELEASE SIDE BY SIDE ALBUM

RALPH STANLEY AND RALPH STANLEY II WILL RELEASE
SIDE BY SIDE ALBUM FEB. 18
14-Song Package Features New and Classic Material

Nashville, TN -- December 11, 2013 -- The ancient and the modern converge to create the timeless in Side By Side, the new Rebel Records album from vocal titan Ralph Stanley and his gifted son and musical heir apparent, Ralph Stanley II.
Co-produced by the younger Stanley and John Rigsby, a former member of the elder Stanley’s fabled Clinch Mountain Boys band, Side By Side is a compelling collection of 14 new and traditional songs.  It will be released Feb. 18.  Among the highlights are classics from the pens of A. P. Carter, Charlie Monroe, Albert Brumley and Ernest Tubb and two Ralph Stanley originals—as well as samples of Stanley’s a cappella and clawhammer banjo stylings.  Two of the musicians who back the Stanleys on the album—fiddler and mandolinist John Rigsby and banjoist Steve Sparkman—are from the 2002 Grammy-winning edition of the Clinch Mountain Boys.

The younger Stanley—who’s familiarly known as “Two”—began performing (on spoons) with his famous dad when he was just three years old.  He went on to become rhythm guitarist and lead vocalist in the Clinch Mountain Boys.  In that capacity, he recorded often with his father.  But this is the first time the two men have released music as artists of equal billing and creative input.
“I’d just been a Clinch Mountain Boy, a band member with Dad,” Two explains, “and I was very proud to be that, but we’d never actually done a duet record like this.  Playing with Dad, who’s so much of a legend, could be intimidating—and he’s had such a great long line of lead singers I needed to live up to—Carter Stanley in the Stanley Brothers days, then Larry Sparks, Keith Whitley and Roy Lee Centers.
“But I’ve been on my own as a solo artist for about five years now and recorded three albums that way. I’m more experienced and more relaxed today and ready to show people what I can do with the master himself.  So I felt that this would be a good time for us to team back up. I asked Dad if he’d be interested in doing something like this with me, and he said yes, he’d love to.”
A three-time Grammy winner, Ralph Stanley will turn 87 a week after Side By Side is released.  He continues to tour and to perform as a member of the Grand Ole Opry.

Little Big Town Added To CRS 2014

Little Big Town “Perseverance” Panel Added To CRS 2014 Agenda

Bob Kingsley To Conduct Session Interview

(Nashville, Tenn. – Dec. 11, 2013) – 2013 CMA Vocal Group of the Year, Little Big Town, will present a panel about perseverance in the country music industry at CRS 2014. Bob Kingsley will conduct an interview with the band throughout the session, which will take place Feb.19 in the Nashville Convention Center.
Little Big Town embodies the definition of perseverance, with their “steadfastness in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success.” During the panel, they will share stories about their perseverance as a band, which eventually landed them a #1 album, 2 #1 singles, a Grammy Award and ACM/CMA Vocal Group of the Year.
Throughout their career, the group, made up of members Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Jimi Westbrook, and Phillip Sweet, have stuck together through several challenging label changes. They received their first record deal with Mercury Nashville Records before moving to Sony’s Monument Records, where they released their debut album. From there, the band went from the small independent label, Equity Music Group, to their current label, Capitol Records, which was later taken over by major label, Universal Music Group.
"It's an honor to be asked to be a part of CRS this year and especially the chance to share some of our story as a band through the last 14 years," said Little Big Town. “It's definitely been about perseverance for us."
"Throughout every challenge the band has had, they've continued to establish and develop so many relationships and give back in so many ways," said Bob Kingsley.  "Their ability to adapt to situations and stay ahead is a hard feat, and one that we can all learn from."
CRS 2014 will include more than 20 educational panels and industry-leading speakers, including “Cracking the Code: Using Data to Discover the Hits,” “Spotify, Pandora, YouTube, Beats: It’s Their Country, Too,” “Marketing On A Shoestring Budget,” “Would You Like Sales Prospects to Call You?” and more.
Other CRS 2014 agenda highlights include two major research presentations (sponsored by CMA and CRS), three label luncheons and performances, Acoustic Alley (sponsored by Bob Kingsley), the CRS keynote address, the popular New Faces of Country Music Dinner and Performance (co-sponsored by MDA and ACM) and much more.
CRS 2014 will be held Feb. 19-21, 2014 in downtown Nashville, Tenn. at the Nashville Convention Center.  The $499 regular registration rate is still available and can be purchased at www.CountryRadioSeminar.com.

CHARLIE DANIELS RELEASES 'TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS

CHARLIE DANIELS RELEASES 'TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS DIGITALLY TODAY

MT. JULIET, Tenn. (December 10, 2013) – Charlie Daniels, award-winning, platinum selling music icon, is proud to announce the release of his audio reading of the historical children’s poem about a man who hears Santa Claus on his rooftop on Christmas eve.  Just in time for Christmas, Blue Hat Records in association with MRI/RED Distribution will release Daniels version of the audio reading of “‘Twas The Night Before Christmas” digitally on iTunes, Amazon, and all other digital outlets on December 10, 2013.

“When “’Twas The Night Before Christmas” is read, if by some magic we could see into the imagination of those listening, we would most likely see a thousand different mental images of the “Jolly Old Elf” dressed all in red from his head to his toe.  This beloved old poem has nurtured our personal perceptions of Santa Claus, symbolized the secular aspect of Christmas, transcended generations, and it still invokes visions of sugar plums and plants a question in even the most cynical mind about a midnight visit from a mythical sleigh and eight tiny reindeer,” says Charlie Daniels.

He is also known for southern rock hits “The South’s Gonna Do It Again” and “Long Haired Country Boy”.
