TRACY LAWRENCE SET TO HOST 8TH ANNUAL “MISSION POSSIBLE” TURKEY FRY

Sports And Music Celebrities Lend A Hand To Benefit The Nashville Rescue Mission

NASHVILLE, TN – November 21, 2013 – Thanksgiving just days away, country music superstar Tracy Lawrence is set to host the 8th annual “Mission Possible” Turkey Fry on Tuesday, November 26 from 8:00am to 5:00pm to benefit the Nashville Rescue Mission.

Launched in 2006, the Tracy Lawrence “Mission Possible” Turkey Fry has brought in close to 6,500 turkeys and provided more than 40,000 meals to help the Nashville Rescue Mission feed the homeless in Middle Tennessee.

Each year Lawrence gets a little help from entertainment and sports celebrity friends to prepare food and fry turkeys. The event has been supported by some of music finest such as Jason Aldean, John Rich, 3 Doors Down front man Brad Arnold, and Restless Heart. Sports celebrities such as Tennessee Titans Rob Bironas, Daniel Graham, and Jordan Babinaeux have donated and prepared turkeys to the event. This year NFL Titans players Rob Bironas, Andy Lavitre, and the Titans Cheerleaders will be on deck to support the cause.  As part of the annual tradition, music artists from multi-genres will lend a hand during the charity event.

“The Nashville Rescue Mission is a blessing to our community,” says Lawrence. “Each year I am humbled by the outpouring of support from friends who give their time to be part of the Turkey Fry. This special day allows us the opportunity to help raise awareness of the great services the Mission provides everyday to the homeless and those in need.”

The event is free and open to the public, though donations are appreciated. If you can’t make it, follow @NashvilleRescue on Twitter for updated information throughout the day, as well as LIKE the Mission’s Facebook page: www.facebook.com/nashvillerescuemission to see photos of your favorite celebrities frying turkeys.

My brothers and sisters were always gathered around Mama's kitchen telling stories, eating pie and singing Christmas songs. Sometimes there were as many as thirty people, counting the grandchildren. Lots of good memories!”

Weihnachtlich verzauberte Gärten bei Chattanooga

Weihnachtlich verzauberte Gärten bei Chattanooga
Eine Million Lichter verzaubern zur Weihnachtszeit die Felsengärten Rock City Gardens. Die absolut amerikanische Festbeleuchtung „Enchanted Garden of Lights“ – „Verwunschener Lichtergarten“ – auf Chattanoogas Hausberg Lookout Mountain bleibt bis zum 4. Januar eingeschaltet.

Millions Flock South of Me for New Country Artist Robby Johnson

Millions Flock South of Me for New Country Artist Robby Johnson

Millions of fans are captivated by the soulful and simmering voice of rising country singer/songwriter, Robby Johnson. The official music video for his debut single, South of Me, surpassed over a million YouTube views and it’s still climbing.
After releasing the single to country radio only a week ago, Robby is already garnering rave reviews, especially earning the DisCovery Award from Music Row’s renowned music critic, Robert K. Oermann and saying “sultry and simmering. [South of Me] conjures memories of a feverish summer romance with a simply dreamy production.” Fans are commenting on the video by saying “fantastic,” “spectacular,” “best of the best,” “beautifully shot” and “what an amazing concept.”
Another place, another time, a girl I can’t get off my mind…a feeling in my heart that’s buried deep…South of Me…she’s the one that got away, the one I think about today…
The music video, which was filmed in Jamaica, was directed by Ryan Smith who directed more than 100 music videos, including ones for Jason Aldean, James Otto, Sarah Darling, Gavin DeGraw, Good Charlotte, 3 Doors Down, among others. Choosing the location was pretty easy for Robby. “I wanted to get the entire meaning behind the song and pick a destination that seems real,” he said.  Not only do the Jamaican beaches set a beautiful backdrop for the video, but it shows how far Robby will go for the green-eyed, brown-haired girl that he sings so passionately about.
This Canadian-born singer grew up with French as his main language in a small town outside of Quebec. After his parents’ divorce, Robby turned to American television to help cope and the culture he learned helped him perfect his English language. With such a large imagination, Robby knew he wasn’t going to settle for anything less than his dreams. A thoughtful Christmas gift helped him start the journey to achieve his goals – the present of a paid demo session, which changed him forever. He was selling industrial products full-time and when the company would not let him have the time off to record; Robby took a leap of faith and made the move to Nashville. “Sometimes you have to have a leap of faith and believe in yourself to get the outcome you want, no one ever accomplished their goals while waiting on them to fall in their lap.”
