so much MOORE media Celebrates 25th Year

Boutique Firm Sets Standard Of Excellence For Indie PR Agencies

"One of the best things for any artist's career is to have "Skates" on the case. Martha has helped redefine what it means to be an outstanding
artist advocate." -- David M. Ross,HitShop VP, Marketing

Nashville, TN (November 4, 2013) - Martha E. Moore is celebrating her 25th year as head of her independent, boutique public relations firm, so much MOORE media

Moore opened the doors of so much MOORE media in November 1988, and it's a name that Jo Walker-Meador (former Executive Director, CMA) believes fits her perfectly.  Meador reflects, "I watched Martha fine tune her knowledge of both national and international press as she established her own company.  It is apparent that Martha has always gone above and beyond in applying her knowledge and expertise for her clients."

In her 30-plus year career, Moore has worked with Country legends Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Brenda Lee, Merle Haggard, Barbara Mandrell, Conway Twitty, Loretta Lynn, George Strait, Kathy Mattea, Lee Greenwood, David Frizzell and Don Williams, along with Rock stars Tom Jones, John Mellencamp, KISS, Tears for Fears, Bon Jovi, Cinderella, Def Leppard, Joe Cocker and more.

In recent years so much MOORE media has represented a wide variety of Country, Bluegrass, Americana and corporate clients including Hank Cochran, Ricky Skaggs, The Amazing Rhythm Aces, actress/performer Kassie DePaiva, Guy Penrod, The Grascals, Jerry Reed, Sylvia, Randy Thompson, The Stetson Family, Todd Fritsch, Lisa O'Kane, Flynnville Train, Becky Schlegel, Aiken & Friends Fest and Tappedinto.com.

Martha is currently engaged in strategic partnerships with powerhouse PR firm Webster & Associates, and indie label Way Out West Records.  Her present roster includes APA-Nashville, The Roys, LiveWire, Lisa Matassa, Jay Jolley, Joanna Mosca, Sherry Lynn, Lizzie Sider and Mike Aiken.

A popular Nashville transplant, Moore was born in Washington, D.C.  She began her career in music as a copywriter for WKGN Radio (Knoxville) while studying Advertising and Marketing at the University of Tennessee.  Martha moved to Nashville in 1976 to take a position at WLAC Radio (AM Promotion/FM Traffic).  She worked at MCA/ABC Records as the label's Manager of Press & Artist Development for just over four years before moving to PolyGram Records.  While there, Moore was the Director of Press & Artist Relations/Nashville for nearly eight years.  Jerry Kennedy, then VP of A&R/Nashville recalls Moore as "very creative and dependable."  "We were very fortunate to have Martha on the team.  She did a great job for our roster," he states.

A member of the CMA, ACM, Americana Music Association, IBMA and SOURCE, Moore's opinions are frequently sought by the media on the topic of independent PR.  She was recently featured in a Bluegrass Unlimited article on publicists, and has also appeared in various media outlets including Country Music People Magazine, Music News Nashville, Third Coast Magazine, Roots Music Report and MusicRow magazine.  Additionally, Moore wrote a popular music column, "Roots, Boots & 'Billy," for Ireland's Country Music Plus Magazine for a year.

"I cannot imagine doing anything else," Moore states.  "To work hand-in-hand with such talented artists every day is just a blessing.  I am incredibly grateful to the Nashville music community and to the media who continue to trust in me.  I follow my passion, and it's rarely steered me wrong."

Nashville, TN- Nov. 4, 2013- Country superstar Tim McGraw is at No. one on Mediabase this week with his 35th career smash hit "Southern Girl."  This also marks the third consecutive No. one from his 2013 Big Machine Records debut TWO LANES OF FREEDOM.

"I think on every record there's a song that the fans take and make their own, and we saw that happen with 'Southern Girl' on the road this summer," said McGraw.  "It's been an incredible year and having so much success and three straight No. ones played a big part of that.  I listen to country radio every morning without fail. Even after 35 of these, hearing your local DJ introduce and then play one of your songs will never get old."

McGraw will perform at the 47th Annual CMA Awards on Wed., Nov. 6 on ABC where he is nominated for three awards for the PLATINUM certified No. one “Highway Don’t Care,” an all-star collaboration with Taylor Swift, featuring Keith Urban on guitar.  Over his career, McGraw has sold over 40 million albums, won three GRAMMY’s, 15 ACM Awards, 12 CMA Awards and 10 AMA’s, while simultaneously maintaining a parallel career as a successful actor in such films as the Oscar nominated The Blind Side, Country Strong, Friday Night Lights and the upcoming Disney production, Tomorrowland starring George Clooney and directed by Brad Bird, scheduled for release in theaters late 2014.

Nashville, TN – Nov. 4, 2013 – Award-winning singer/songwriter Dierks Bentley’s “Miles & Music For Kids” hosted its biggest crowd to date yesterday in Nashville, TN.  Thousands of bikers road into downtown where fans joined Bentley for the post-ride concert to help make the event’s biggest donation to date of over $307,000 to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.

“Every year, the support from the fans for these events catches me off-guard,” said Bentley. “I shouldn’t be surprised because the country music community is the first to open their wallets to help out, but this year they were lined up before the sun was even up. I have my buddies  Luke Bryan, Jake Owen, Easton Corbin, Brett Eldredge, Chase Rice and Storme Warren to thank for spending their Sunday afternoon with us and making it the best year yet!”
