See You Again Carrie Underwood

“See You Again”

Becomes Carrie Underwood’s 18th #1 Single!

“See You Again” Music Video Is #1 on GAC for a 10th Consecutive Week; Twitter Sweepstakes Continues for Chart-Topping New DVD
Carrie Underwood continues a run of #1s this week, as her current smash single, “See You Again,” tops the Mediabase country airplay chart to become the 18th #1 single of her career and her fourth consecutive chart-topper from her award-winning Blown Away album.
The success of “See You Again” has further extended to the song’s music video, which is now #1 for a 10th consecutive week atop GAC’s fan-voted Top 20 Country Countdown.
To date, the video has amassed more than 5.2 million views on VEVO, where fans can see it online here: http://vevo.ly/PMHMbp.
“See You Again” is also one of the songs featured on Carrie’s new DVD, The Blown Away Tour: LIVE, which released August 13 and debuted last week at #1 on Nielsen SoundScan’s Top DVD Music Video chart.
And there’s still time for fans to enter the Carrie Underwood The Blown Away Tour: LIVE DVD Twitter Sweepstakes, continuing through 11:59 PM CT on September 19, 2013. For anyone who got to see Carrie in concert on her Blown Away Tour, 10 lucky winners who include the hashtag #BlownAwayLive in a tweet about their favorite memory from the tour will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries to win an autographed copy of The Blown Away Tour: LIVE DVD. Complete rules and details can be found on www.CarrieUnderwoodOfficial.com.
The Blown Away Tour: LIVE is available at http://smarturl.it/blownawaylive.
Since releasing her debut album in 2005, Carrie has sold over 15 million albums and charted 18 #1 singles, nine of which she co-wrote. Her current album, Blown Away, made history by debuting at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums Chart, making Carrie only the second country artist in the 47-year history of the chart to have each of their first four albums debut at #1. The now Platinum-selling Blown Away album also debuted at #1 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart, making Carrie only the second country artist in history to have three consecutive albums debut at #1. She is a six-time GRAMMY® winner, a two-time Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year, a three-time Country Music Association and ACM Female Vocalist winner, and a proud member of the Grand Ole Opry.

CD: Lucy Malheur - I Can Wait

Lucy Malheur
I Can Wait

Mickey’s Marker 3:51 Southern Comfort on my Mind 4:34 Needle in a Haystack 3:12
I Can Wait 3:12 My Old Home 3:40 I Believe 3:41 Short, Fat, and Ugly 3:42 A Shoulder to Cry On 3:49
Sunny Saturday 3:43 What a Fool I’ve Been 3:25 Sunday in Badwater City 3:32Barrister Blues 3:09 No More Rain 2:55 Braggartsville 2:42 Wanted 3:20 I’m a Stranger 3:31 Blame it on the Change 3:42 Mister Albert Lee 3:31

Mickey’s Marker opens up with a fiddle. Then, Lucy comes in; a good voice, kinda different. I really was expecting to hear some Disney music. Who knows, maybe this is a song for Disneyworld. I had to listen to it a few times because I wasn’t quite sure why Mickey needed a marker so bad. I never really figured it out. It seems like Mickey is sick, but why does he need some markers? I think he was supposed to draw a line on the road so they could follow it home. Isn’t that like the story of those kids who dropped breadcrumbs? I mean what if it rains. Mickey had better get some permanent markers.
Next is Southern Comfort on my Mind, if Mickey needs markers and she needs Southern Comfort that would make a really weird mix. I think I know why she wants Mickey to have markers. It’s so he can draw her drinking and crying at the same time.  I really hope Mickey isn’t her kid.
I really like the way this album has a lot of different genres of song. Needle in a Haystack is exactly what I’m talking about. There is what sounds like an electric guitar, maybe it’s not but it really fits and accompanies you through this song.  Usually, at this point I know whether I care for a band or not. This one is a great deal different because I’m much more interested in what is coming next.
Now here we go a real down home country song. I Can Wait is the kinda song you’d imagine hearing at a big country venue while riding that mechanical bull. I can just feel my hat being swung over my head with each buck as the second clock is climbing and my boots are grinding the thing.
The fiddle is back in play, but on My Old Home it’s not so much bluegrass as the first song. I really can imagine a road trip though the plains or prairie states. Waking up at some motel, grabbing some coffee and jumping in that car early on the way home to some small town is this kinda song. I Believe is a much slower song, almost a ballad. This song has a very nice piano, and a great melody.  It makes you wonder what the inspiration for this song was.
Short, Fat, and Ugly is not how I like my women. I sure hope Lucy doesn’t either. In this day and age, you never know. Oh, that’s how she felt. I haven’t seen a picture of her so I don’t know and can’t tell you. But, there is that blues guitar again.
A Shoulder to Cry On comes up next. Someone better go fetch Mickey and get him some markers. She’s going to start crying again. This song has an electric guitar that pushes it through.
The rest of the songs on the album have that old, “wild-west,” sound to them. You can really feel the wanted posters coming through on Braggartsville. That is, by far, my favorite song on the album. This is a difficult album to review due to the many different kinds of songs. The fiddle is really an intricate part of this album. I can’t say I like it because it’s not something I’d be walking around listening to. However, I can really see a great deal of people really enjoying this album.

IS THE COUNTRY FATHER OF ROCK'N'ROLL?

IS THE COUNTRY FATHER OF ROCK'N'ROLL?

What is ,really, the true?Country is the father of the rock?
To ask that we need to jumping with our heads inside country and rock....clear, like water from a fountain...
Let's do it!We need to do a travel in time to understand all that!!!
Hey!You!....Yes...you!!can you come with us in this travel?Come!Who comes first?Country or rock? What point of contact is with this two ritmics....???? Or they are one son of the other?Country is more old,I think!!!!What I really want to know is if  theres a day that this two, each one by a way and suddenly one is in front the other and one born....maybe rock, I think!!!!
This two ritmics are musical notes, lyrics,a brain inside a head and a man or woman that write- a songwriter....with changes in the way to say words, with fast notes and ritmic...we can do or country,or rock,or waltz,or samba,or to much things....musical things...
But I thin that is no so simple like that!!!!We need time, brain, needs, more things to criate a new genre of music...rock is a particular thing...like country ....is a thing that is universal....is not a thing of one place, one group of people....is in all the world!!!!But...in what period of our lifes, it happens...
I think that Country is the past, and the time give us with a base in Country a new kind of music....the rock'n'roll....sometimes I have doubts with this, and then I want discuss with all the Country people to give his oppinion....my e mail ,rrmb534@yahoo.com.br
Goin on!!! Gospel is religious...is not father of rock...
Country says about land,love,people,cowboys,cowgirls....with fast notes and one touch here, another there....who knows? We need to do a DNA test....more easy!!!!
Samba has his own way ,his wonderfull ritmic...but is not father of rock'n'roll!!!!
    Waltz....no!!!!
But country can be the father of Rock....theres....rockabilly....maybe the fusion of country and rock....look!!!Theres something with both!!!!
And you, readers? What is going in your brain....can you teach me???
   Am I rigth or wrong????
Well, in this day....today I think that Country is father of rock'n'roll, but if someone of our readers can say something about....we can discuss it!!!
Yes!Country and rock together!!!!Very good!!!!I wait your considerations about!!!
    Hugs and health for all!!!

They come from Appalachia. Their friendship dates back to elementary school. Their voices blend like bourbon and soda. Listening to their debut album on eOne Music, Door Without a Screen, produced by Coleman Saunders and released Aug. 2, you get the feeling that Kris Bentley and Nick Jamerson were born to make music together.
Apparently they were also destined to represent their beloved home state to the world through their songs. Co-writing every track, they visit the theme of Kentucky’s wonders repeatedly, always with a twinge of nostalgia but also from a variety of perspectives. “Home” captures the ache of a country boy stuck in the city, with only memories of running “barefoot up a holler, in the shadows of the pines.” “Mountain Parkway” is a panorama of images seen through the windows during a cruise through their backwoods paradise. Then, on “Prestonsburg,” the very first lyrics declare, “I just got off the parkway,” and this time the singer is back home, where he — and maybe all of us — belong.
What else do Bentley and Jamerson share? Each began singing in church as kids; aside from a short-lived Christian rock band, that was their only musical outlet for years. Both were active in sports through high school and college — Bentley played basketball, Jamerson excelled at football. They enjoy shifting tempos to underscore different parts of songs. And they love acoustic textures. From scratchy banjos to sad or stompin’ fiddles, their music sounds the way a weather-worn barn looks — rough, sweet and tactile, all at the same time.
