Her single, "Strong Heart" is currently #26 in the Power Source Inspirational Country Music Charts. She was raised on the Florida-Alabama line in Bonifay, Florida. Though it has only about three stoplights, Bonifay is a town famous for rodeos and home to the annual Gospel "Biggest All-Night Sing in the World." Rachel sang at that event, and often in church. While growing up in the Panhandle, other doors began to open for her to sing. Since childhood, she has written and performed music in churches, colleges and other venues throughout the world. Those venues include those in the US, Europe, Middle East and China. A few highlights of her experience include her performance on the ABC network and in a television series with Cover Girl Cosmetics Model Jennifer O'Neill. She has opened for major artists in Christian, Country and Pop music, and recently recorded a duet on her latest album with American Idol finalist Ricky Braddy. Her previous album, Vintage Gospel, garnered an Angel Award in 2008.
Rachel hopes that her music will encourage people who listen to find the resilience that she has found from God. She is currently scheduled to be on tour through November. The Resilient Tour is taking Rachel along the east coast to venues and radio stations from New York City to Florida with international dates including Asia.
"What a dream to be nominated for an Inspirational Country Music Award," says Dampier. "There are so many talented newcomers to this genre, so I feel really blessed."

Morgan Frazier Unites with Stand for the Silent
To Combat Worldwide Bullying
Brand New Impactful Song, “Hey Bully” LaunchesNashville, Tenn. (August 2nd, 2013) – Sidewalk/Curb Recording artist, Morgan Frazier has partnered with Stand for the Silent (SFTS) to bring global awareness to the disturbing issue of bullying in today’s society. SFTS was started after Kirk and Laura Smalley’s son Ty committed suicide in May of 2010 following a school suspension for defending himself against a bully. Ty was taunted for years at his Oklahoma middle school, and this was the first time he fought back. He was only 11 years old.
In their pledge to never stop the fight against school bullying, Kirk and Laura conduct Stand for the Silent presentations at middle and high schools all across the world. Morgan Frazier will be joining select dates on the school tour where she will perform her brand new single, “Hey Bully”.
Morgan co-wrote the song with Sherrie Austin and Tiffany Goss when a writing session turned to talk of a video Goss had seen recently about Karen Klein, the school bus driver who was bullied in the back of a bus that eventually generated worldwide attention. Dialogue on the heartbreaking topic began and stories were shared, including Morgan’s own experience that led her parents to remove her from school entirely. After a few short hours, “Hey Bully” was completed.
“I’ve already been touched by the power of this song from messages I’ve received from kids who have experienced bullying firsthand. I look forward to working with Stand For The Silent to bring an end to this issue,” says Morgan.
“I've never experienced so many tears and so much divine inspiration during one writing appointment. Four hours and about a million goose bumps later we had our song”, says Sherrie Austin. The songwriter’s intentions showcase as much compassion for the “bully” as it does the “bullied” as the lyric poignantly reflects:
DID SOMEBODY HURT YOU, MAKE YOU FEEL SMALL
YOU TAKE IT OUT ON ME ‘CAUSE IT MAKES YOU FEEL TALL
I BET YOU'RE SCARED AND ALONE
IF YOU LOOKED IN MY EYES YOU'D SEE
HEY BULLY, YOU'RE A LOT LIKE ME
WHY, WHY YOU WANNA MAKE ME CRY
YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO I AM
IF YOU GAVE ME HALF A CHANCE
WE JUST MIGHT HAVE BEEN FRIENDS, HEY BULLY
According to Stand For The Silent, the statistics on bullying are alarming:
•Every 7 seconds a child is bullied in this world
•160,000 kids stay home from school every day due to fear of bullying
•25% of high school students in America will actually have a plan to take their own life before they graduate
Kids and adults alike can take the SFTS pledge to stop bullying at www.standforthesilent.org
“Hey Bully” is also available now for pre-order on iTunes: http://bit.ly/heybully
About Stand for the Silent:
Stand for the Silent exists as a platform to allow Kirk and Laura Smalley to share their story and offer education and tools that will prevent their tragedy from happening to another child and family. Kirk and Laura’s mission is to continue to change kids’ lives and bring awareness to bullying and the real devastation it causes. Since May 2010, Kirk and Laura Smalley have traveled to hundreds of schools and spoken with more than 700,000 kids. In March 2011, Kirk and Laura met privately with President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama in The White House prior to attending the first ever White House conference on bullying. Their story is featured in Director Lee Hirsch's feature film, Bully. Kirk and Laura have been invited to a number of conferences on bullying and met with Lady Gaga this spring at the launch of the Born This Way Foundation.
About Morgan Frazier:
Recognized in Country Weekly’s “Ones To Watch in 2013,” Morgan Frazier’s remarkable journey began in a small Texas town where she made her way to Nashville by literally going door-to-door. At just nine years old, Morgan recorded her first CD in her hometown of Breckenridge, Texas. Although they had no formal plans to market or sell the CD's, Morgan's family believed in their little girl's talent and ordered one thousand copies. For the next two years, Morgan and her family traveled all over the South and Southwest selling over thirty thousand copies of her album. At the age of sixteen, Morgan followed her dream to Nashville where she perfected her songwriting craft and honed her chops at the legendary Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge. Not long after, she signed a publishing and recording contract with Curb Records imprint Sidewalk Records. Having experienced bullying firsthand, Morgan co-wrote her latest single, “Hey Bully” to bring awareness to the growing epidemic.
