GEORGE DUCAS PENS NEW ALBUM - 4340
Hitmaker's Independent Release An Undeniable
Musical Work Of Art For The Listening Ear!
Out In Early Fall
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 31, 2013)—George Ducas celebrates the release of 4340 (from Loud Ranch), his first full-length release since his critically acclaimed Capitol Records releases. The new project is signatured as another George Ducas Original trademarked by his contemporary edge and timeless content. The 12-song CD is scheduled for an October 29, 2013 release.
Without exception, 4340 showcases Ducas’ talents to illuminate storylines with defining imagery that brings lyrics to life. With co-writes alongside Keifer Thompson (Thompson Square), Jim Beavers (“Red Solo Cup”/Toby Keith, “5150”/Dierks Bentley), Radney Foster, Jon Henderson and Jason Matthews, the album is stocked with radio worthy tracks and lined with carefully painted musical canvasses featuring song titles such as “CowTown” (at country radio now), “Ain’t That Crazy,” “Love Struck,” “Amnesia,” “Give Me Back My Honky Tonk,” “White Lines And Road Signs” and “I Need To Love You.”
Since making his entry in the country music genre as a deep-rooted traditionalist and defined vocalist who brought a contemporary edge to the format, George enjoyed success as a Nashville major label recording artist (Capitol Nashville) with a string of hits including his Top 10 single "Lipstick Promises.”
With a noticeable personal “presence missed” on mainstream radio in recent years, it is only the sound of his voice that was silent in the interim. Holding his position as a relevant member of the songwriting community and a mainstay in the recording industry, Ducas’ musical compositions have been recognized by his peers and heard loud and clear over the airwaves. His reputation as masterful tunesmith has made him a sought-after songcrafter in a league of his own; Ducas is in deed the essence of "musicianship."
In line with his own recording credits, Ducas’ name can be found behind the pen of some of country music's biggest hits including: Sara Evan's No. 1 "Real Fine Place To Start," Josh Thompson's "Won't Be Lonely Long," The Eli Young Band's "Always The Love Songs" as well as cuts recorded by George Jones, The Dixie Chicks, Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood and the Randy Rogers Band, only to name a few.
"I’m really just a ‘regular Joe;’ I enjoy writing a good song, a hot cup of coffee, a cold beer and rolling down highway miles with the band to bring the music to the folks who want to hear it, night after night," Ducas introduces. “I’ve had good fortune to become the voice for other artists and in the meantime, I am blessed to have become a dad--twice."
George released the debut single "CowTown" (written by Ducas and Jim Beavers) introducing it first to the folks in his home state; the track received overwhelming welcome in the Lone Star state (climbing into the Top 10 on the Texas Music Charts). The sure-fire hit is currently enjoying "want more" applause from country radio and its listeners new and old. [Spin Doctors Promotion-Nashville is spearheading the radio promotion effort.]
“I’m not a ‘newbie’ in the industry by any means, but I’m okay with being recognized as a new artist by the industry and fans; we all need to reinvent ourselves to stay current. I want this project to stand on its own two feet, it's not a departure of where I've been, or who I am, but an example of how I’ve grown," Ducas expands. "A ‘snapshot’ from a musical perspective, 4340 is bits and pieces of my personal relationships, growth and downfalls and because we all experience similar feelings, I think my music relates to many. That's what a good song does, it just expresses feelings about experiences and the story behind them. This time, I'm using my voice to tell it."

GEORGE JONES 'AMAZING GRACE'Nashville, Tenn. (July 31, 2013) - Bandit Records will proudly release GEORGE JONES – AMAZING GRACE on September 10th, two days before what would have been Jones’ 82nd birthday. Jones, a partner in Bandit Records, recorded the gospel songs with producer Billy Sherrill in 2002 with the exception of one track, “Great Judgment Morning,” which was produced by Brian Ahern in 1994.
TO BE RELEASED SEPTEMBER 10, 2013
TO BE RELEASED SEPTEMBER 10, 2013
The Billy Sherrill songs represent the final sessions between Jones and Sherrill. Sherrill had retired and was not interested in going back into the studio. Jones was persistent in trying to get Sherrill to do one last project and they finally agreed to do a Gospel Collection. It also marked the first time that Jones’ had actually recorded an entire Gospel project and not just isolated songs tacked onto the end of secular sessions.
“Great Judgment Morning” was one of those songs tacked onto the end of his Bradley Barn recording sessions. Assembled that day were friends such as Waylon Jennings, Jessi Colter, Travis Tritt, Ricky Skaggs, Marty Stuart and Connie Smith who all added their vocal interpretations of that classic gospel favorite.
Jones passed away on April 26, 2013 surrounded by family and friends. AMAZING GRACE had already been planned and blessed by Jones before his passing. Gospel music had always brought peace and calm to Jones throughout his turbulent life. He was reverential in his approach to singing sacred songs and didn’t believe vocal theatrics should be involved.
His eloquent and moving rendition of “Amazing Grace” was used during the video/ bio segment of his Kennedy Center Honors Induction in 2008 and resulted in hundreds of calls asking for the recording. The record has not been in the marketplace since 2005 (to the degree that is possible in the digital age).
George Jones was a partner in Bandit Records and his widow, Nancy Jones, continues to be. Bandit Records was established in 2000 and served as the first label that Jones had a vested interest in and the final record label in Jones illustrious career. During that time and in spite of his advanced age, his recordings continued to excite audiences, earn major award nominations and sell in respectful numbers. It is a testament to his talent that Jones had charting records in six decades and earned Gold certification well into his late 70s.

COUNTRY YESTERDAY,TODAY AND FOR EVER.
RR VISION(REGINA AND RONALDO
VISION). To fell and say something about what we write above,is necessary have this way inside of each one of us... The beggining of Country was in Apalaches Mountains and we know what is really that!
The origens has come from farmers that in Sec
XVII take the ground in South Apalaches Mountains. The second time ,if
we can say like that, was in USA,Texas with blues, and rural music of
black dance . In the 20's decade with the radio, the coutry spread so
far and the first álbuns will be recorded. The WSM radio from Nashville the most importante radio station from Tenessee increase too much this kind of music!!!! Jimmie Rodgers(James C.Rodgers, knowing like the father of Country music was born in 8 of
We have today more than 2600 rádios in USA that play Country Music....I
think that we have more...this stations are responsable for more than
17 per cent of all sales in the fonographic industry....That is to you
know what Country Music do and what is the real influence of a thing
have lots of Country things, people, singers, song writers, people who do
reviews of country music like Regina and me,clothes and so on!!!!
This is only to know how great is that theme that we are sharing with
you,and changing ideas about!!!The real Country soul comes with the
Pearson....all the parts of the world has ,if you go to know a part
country....Brasil,Germany,USA, Russia etc. Then we understand that
country is a thing that occurs in all the world...and our curiosity turn
bigger....is very interesting and i want to put it clearly one
day!!! Then the
world is country ,have a seed of Country in each population of the
Earth? Is that or I am wrong?Lets investigate, the word country is
,Land,rural zone and so on...
By the time we stop to try to understand better that ,but is not the
end dot...wait...I am doing my study about!!!!I want to do a projection
of the future of country music...in the first times it was very simple
...was the hillibily....and after the Money comes and we dont say more
hillibily,like in Brasil
we say Sertaneja, but to say about the music of years ago....Well the
true is ...today the Country moves millions of dollars and it change
all!!!The roots don go away...and it will be good, because the essence of
,the soul of country music is just the simple way of life of our past
and we dont be shy whit that!!!!! But
modernity is a powerfull thing and Country can go to another way that
we can not stop!!!It is what goes in our minds...to put a end in all
that ,by this time I want to say only a thing....KEEP IT
COUNTRY!!!!!!!YES!!!!!RR( Regina and Ronaldo to CMNI from Campos dos Goytacazes-Country Journalists.See
He died in 1933.Receive prize ,and has choice in the first election of Country Music Hall of Fame in 1961.(After his dead, sure!)
