DEAN BRODY EARNS SEVEN 2013 CCMA AWARD NOMINATIONS

Toronto, ON - From his Gold-selling album, DIRT, Dean Brody dominates with seven 2013 CCMA Award nominations including Male Artist of the Year, Single of the Year ("It's Friday" featuring Great Big Sea), two nominations for Songwriter of the Year ("Bob Marley" and "It's Friday" featuring Great Big Sea), Country Music Program or Special of the Year (CMT Presents Dean Brody Live) and the CCMA Fans' Choice Award. Additionally, the video for his duet on Terri Clark's "I'm Movin' On" has been nominated for CMT Video of the Year.
Released in April 2012, DIRT, has spawned four Top 10 singles including the #1 hit "Canadian Girls," the Gold-selling "It's Friday" featuring Great Big Sea, "Bob Marley," and "Dirt." Brody has solidified himself as Canadian country music's leading male artist, garnering industry recognition with wins at the 2012 CCMA Awards for Male Artist of the Year and Album of the Year (DIRT) along with a 2013 JUNO Award nomination for Country Album of the Year. Named one of HELLO! Canada's Most Beautiful People in May, Brody headlined his first sold-out tour to rave reviews this past winter and has been featured on CITY-TV's Bachelor Canada, CTV's Degrassi - The Next Generation, CBC's Fall Season Preview and more.

On August 4, Brody will participate in the Halo High Water Benefit Concert and Telethon to support the Calgary Foundation's Flood Rebuilding Fund. The telethon will broadcast nationally on CBC TV and Radio.

Expect new music from Brody by the end of summer; he will launch a brand new single this August and will release his fourth full-length album this November.

THE BAND PERRY CONFIRMED TO PERFORM AT THE CANADIAN COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION AWARDS BROADCAST SEPTEMBER 8  

    
Toronto, ON - Announced today at the Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) Awards press conference, Platinum-selling international trio, The Band Perry, are confirmed to perform on the live broadcast in Edmonton on September 8, 2013.

 "We're thrilled to be a part of the Canadian Country Music Association Awards," said the members of The Band Perry. "We haven't performed for our fans in Canada since 2011 and it's an honour to be a part of this year's show. It's going to be a BIG night!" 

Comprised of siblings Kimberly, Reid and Neil Perry, The Band Perry, have seen great success with their sophomore album PIONEER (Republic Nashville/Universal Music Canada), which debuted at #1 in Canada (SOCAN) and in the U.S. (Billboard). PIONEER has boasted two #1 hits at Canadian Country radio (BDS and Mediabase), including the Platinum-selling single "Better Dig Two" which marks their first #1 at Canadian Country radio. "DONE.," their second single, is currently #1 at Canadian Country radio for a second week, has reached #1 on CMT's Chevy Top 20 video chart and recently garnered Gold-status in Canada.

Catapulting them into mainstream success in 2010 was their self-titled debut album, The Band Perry, which featured the quadruple-Platinum breakout hit "If I Die Young." The song, penned by Kimberly Perry was honoured at the CMA's for Single of the Year and Song of the Year. The group have gone on to receive multiple awards including the ACM and CMA for New Artist of the Year, CMT Music Award for Breakthrough Video of the Year as well as the Best New Live Act. Past recognition has included GRAMMY, TEEN CHOICE, AMA, ACA and Billboard Music Award nominations. In Canada, The Band Perry's self-titled debut album also marks the first group from the Big Machine Label Group to achieve Platinum certification.

The Band Perry performs live on the CCMA Awards broadcast on September 8. The trio will also appear at the Boots and Hearts Music Festival in Bowmanville, Ontario on August 3, 2013.

NASHVILLE, TN (July 17, 2013) –  Dave Adkins & Republik Steele will make their debut performance at the World Famous Station Inn in Nashville this Saturday, July 20. This historic venue has played host to some of the top names in music through the years and draws fans from around the world. The band’s hard driving instrumental talents, combined with Dave's powerful lead vocals and infectious personality, have put them in the spotlight at many major festivals and venues this year.
 
Dave Adkins & Republk Steele’s busy tour schedule also includes their debut performance today at the Musicians Against Childhood Cancer Festival in Ohio. On Thursday and Friday, the band will entertain audiences in Olive Hill, KY at the Carter County Shrine Club Bluegrass Festival and Sunday at the Southern Cove Bluegrass Festival in New Enterprise, PA.

Kylie Morgan Set to Make Big Impression at Brickyard 400

Country music artist, Kylie Morgan, is excited about the upcoming Brickyard 400 race in Indianapolis, Indiana, July 26-28, 2013. “I have the potential to reach a great amount of people with my music and a very important message,” she says. Besides being known for her appearance on E! Entertainment’s “Opening Act” where she opened for country super stars Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan, Kylie is known for her diligent work in bullying prevention education inspired by the song “Phoebe (It Matters What We Do).” Her music video for “Phoebe” will be featured on a jumbo video screen strategically placed at the main gate of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Fans are invited to use the hashtag #KylieMorganBrickyard to become eligible to win a guitar signed by Kylie Morgan.

Kylie is a spokesperson for PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center (www.PACER.org/bullying). She is an artist with a message. “I co-wrote the song “Phoebe” in honor of Phoebe Prince, a teen bullying victim who took her own life.” The last 18 months Kylie has traveled extensively to reach over 30,000 students with her “It Matters What We Do” message of kindness. “I love being able to spread my message, and also have a stage to perform.  If I’m able to have (their) attention, I feel it’s my responsibility to make a positive impression and leave them entertained.” She is    
Kylie will gain further exposure and reach more people with her music and message at the Brickyard 400 as a result of her partnership with Toronto-based Grazie Media and its big screen advertising. The “Phoebe” music video will be played up to 72 times over the Brickyard three-day event; with an expected 2.4 million impressions. Anh Tang, account executive for Grazie says, “We learned of Kylie through her music. Bullying is a very serious issue.  We wanted to be part of that change in attitude and knew we could be by putting Kylie Morgan and “Phoebe” (“It Matters What We Do”) out there.”
