RISING COUNTRY STAR BRYNN MARIE EXPERIENCES MAGICAL NIGHT WITH DEBUT AT THE
HISTORIC RYMAN AUDITORIUM
BILLBOARD CALLS BRYNN MARIE “NAME TO WATCH”
Nashville, TN (June 26, 2013) - Rising country star Brynn Marie has been traveling the country opening shows for iconic rock and roll legends Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo and Cheap Trick this summer. Last night, she had the opportunity to bring the show to her adopted hometown of Nashville when she made her performance debut at the Ryman Auditorium. Like most artists, Brynn Marie dreamed of playing the historic venue since she was a child and the night couldn’t have been more perfect.
"It was an honor and truly magical experience to play the Ryman Stage," says an emotional Brynn Marie. "It’s a night I’ll never forget. Dreams do come true."
Brynn Marie was met with early approval from the audience, which included a correspondent for Billboard. Thunderous applause emerged from the near capacity crowd after her half-hour set that displayed her vocal prowess and powerful range. Later in the evening, Brynn Marie joined Benatar and Giraldo on the stage for “We Belong.”
"During Brynn Marie’s brief half-hour set, the newcomer impressed the crowd with a set that demonstrated her powerful range," says Billboard’s Chuck Dauphin. "Her current single might be the rowdy sounding “Bandaid On A Bullet Hole,” but the true keeper of her set was the jaw-dropping “I’m Sorry.” With performances like that, it’s a safe bet that the Pennsylvania native is going to be a name to watch!"

Dr. Ralph Stanley Announces Farewell Tour
80+ Date Event Will Begin Oct. 16, 2013
80+ Date Event Will Begin Oct. 16, 2013
Nashville, TN (June 26, 2013)--Now 86 years old and still in superb voice, the revered country and bluegrass singer Dr. Ralph Stanley will commence his final tour Oct. 16, 2013. It will run through December 2014. The event, which is projected to encompass more than 80 shows at festivals, folk clubs and performing arts centers, is being billed as Man Of Constant Sorrow Tour: The Dr.’s Farewell. (The title “Dr.” comes from the fact that Stanley holds an honorary doctorate in music from Lincoln Memorial University and has worn that title since it was awarded in 1976.)
Accompanying the multiple Grammy winner and Grand Ole Opry star will be his band, the fabled Clinch Mountain Boys. Various country and bluegrass artists will appear as supporting acts. The start of the tour coincides with Dr. Stanley’s 67th anniversary as a professional performer. He began his career in 1946 with his older brother Carter, touring and recording as the Stanley Brothers. Carter died in 1966, after which Ralph moved to center stage as a solo artist.
“What an honor it is to be a part of a musical legend and to work with my all-time hero’s final musical journey,” says Josh Trivett, Stanley’s co-manager. “Dr. Ralph is an American and an international musical icon who has influenced so many modern stars with his trademark mountain sound. Man of Constant Sorrow Tour: The Dr.'s Farewell will be a fantastic celebration of the life of Dr. Ralph, the mountain music he’s made famous and his legacy that will endure through the course of time.” (Photo by Will McIntire)
Over his historic career, Dr. Stanley has won virtually every honor America has to bestow on its master musicians. He has three Grammy awards, one as best male country vocalist, a category in which he competed with Tim McGraw, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash and Lyle Lovett. His was the distinctive sound behind the seven-million-selling O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack album. He was the first performer to be inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in the 21st Century. Dr. Stanley is a member of the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and a recipient of the National Medal of Arts.
As a bandleader, Dr. Stanley mentored the careers of Ricky Skaggs, Keith Whitley, Larry Sparks and Charlie Sizemore, among others.
The following dates for the opening weekend of the Man of Constant SorrowTour: The Dr.'s Farewell are:
Oct. 18 The Dunn Center - Rocky Mount, NC
Oct. 19 Morehead Center - Morehead, NC
Oct. 20 The Birchmere - Alexandria, VA
Oct. 21 The Arts Center - Carrborro, NC

Nobody Loves Me Like You comes next. Now, put that title in the past-tense and those are the messages I’m receiving ten years later. You’d think that time would’ve ended this girls pure insanity. At least so far I really like the album. Once in a While seems like it’s been playing for ten years on this girls turn tables.
Easy Lovin’ is much more my style. I can just picture the RCA microphone in some seedy bar in the red light early hours. Let’s Go, Let’s Go, Let’s Go, is just as its titled. The following song, To Be Loved(Forever), is like a lot of these Doo-Wop songs. That is in today’s world these people would be thrown in a nice cozy cell.
Will You Love Me Tomorrow? I think that the singer already knows the answer and this is a rhetorical question. Everyone knows This Magic Moment so I think I can skip writing too much about this one.
I’m not sure if I know Besame Mucho, Pt.1. Its name makes me a little curious. Let me see…… Nope, I don’t like it. Back in 1960 maybe people were trying to feel cultural. With that I need a break……………………………..Okay, break-time over. Oh my god! Will someone please pass the razor- blade? I seriously do not suggest anyone who has suicidal tendencies to listen to Who’s Loving You. After skipping a few songs across the puddles of teardrops, suddenly, Somewhere Over the Rainbow comes up and seems to clear them all away. I Know seems a little too religious to me. Maybe, it isn’t. I actually like it and I’ve never heard this one before. Diamonds and Pearls makes me picture an old man on a rocking chair sipping on lemonade through a straw. Charlena turns out to be one of my favorites. It has that street corner, saxophone, blues guitar sound. The Teacher, Valarie, Mama Loochie all add to my feelings about Charlena. The songs in the beginning are those memorable songs that everyone’s heard, but I think the songs later on attract me to this collection most. Aside from all of the joking around in this review, out of the two years of Doo-Wop that I have reviewed, the 1960 collection I would have to say I like best. I still have a few more years to go so we’ll soon see.
