Features Artifacts from Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean and Many More

Rockology Stages Largest Privately Owned Dolly Parton Collection;
Features Artifacts from Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean and Many More

NASHVILLE, Tennessee — The largest privately-owned collection of Dolly Parton stagewear and memorabilia is just one of the exciting exhibits awaiting visitors to the 2013 Country Music Association’s CMA Music Festival 2013, set for June 6-9 in Nashville, TN.

The exhibit will be staged by Rockology LLC, one of the entertainment industry’s leading authorities on the collection, appraisal, brokerage and exhibition of music and pop-culture memorabilia. Rockology has been commissioned to serve as the Master Curator for CMA's AT&T U-Verse Fan Fair X,
located in Nashville’s new Music City Convention Center which will greet the estimated 300,000 die-hard fans from 50 states and 41 countries.

The Parton collection will feature stage wear dating from the early part of her career to current, along with clothing worn on album covers, personal items and an elaborate king-sized bed.  The clothing will be worn by custom-made Dolly Parton mannequins that “include her most famous assets,” said Rockology President Stephen Shutts. “This collection is so impressive that Dolly herself has even visited the collector’s home to see it.”

Also key to the FFX exhibit are items from contemporary Country Stars Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, The Band Perry and more.  Vintage Corvettes belonging to Steve Wariner and also Kix Brooks will be displayed.  Also featured will be paintings by Wariner and photography from Ronnie Dunn.

Intriguing interactive exhibits will include a guitar-luthier workshop as well as an exhibit featuring custom-designed leather  items  from Ethos Custom Brands, during which fans will be allowed to watch the intricate design, patterning, hand-tooling and finishing of guitar-straps, cuffs and boots similar to that which their favorite stars wear.

“These items show that there’s more to these stars than simply the music,” says Shutts.  “They are real people with real lives who share common interests with their fans.  It’s a terrific way to connect with their audience. We’re excited to share some of our most unique memorabilia and artifacts to those who will appreciate them the most. ”

In addition to countless exhibitions over the past 15 years in large fairs, festivals, hotels, casinos and other venues, Rockology’s memorabilia exhibits have been featured in recent years with Rascal Flatts ’“Flatts Fest” and Brooks & Dunn’s “Neon Circus Tour.” Shutts, an esteemed member of the music and pop-culture memorabilia community, was the driving force behind the $1 million sale of Elvis Presley’s Audubon Drive home, as well as Elvis’ beloved Memphis roller coaster The Zippin Pippin.

Shutts and Robert Reynolds (Grammy-winning founder of country super-group The Mavericks) will star as the undisputed kings of music memorabilia in their CMT reality show, Raiders of Rock. With the first 10 episodes already produced and scheduled for a summer debut, Raiders of Rock features the duo traveling across the country in search of (and bargaining for) rare and unusual pieces of music and pop culture memorabilia.

An Audiostationen hört man Tondokumente.

CASEY DONAHEW BAND WHISKEY FOR BABY

CASEY DONAHEW BAND PREMIERES
WESTERN–THEMED VIDEO FOR “WHISKEY BABY”
ON MULTIPLE CMT PLATFORMS

NASHVILLE –(May 29, 2013) -- The Casey Donahew Band strapped on their six guns and stepped back in time to the Wild, Wild West for their latest video for their brand new single, “Whiskey Baby,” which premieresTODAY across CMT platforms including; CMT Pure, CMT.com and the mobile app CMT Inside. The new clip can also be viewed here.

The video is also the first to feature the new "Lonestar All-Stars" graphics on CMT Pure noting popular Texas country artists. The Texas native and his band mates look right at home fighting tyranny and injustice on the plains in the clip, which was directed by Evan Kaufmann, (who also directed Casey’s hilarious “Double Wide Dream” clip as well.)

The video follows the theme of Casey’s latest CD, STANDOFF, which was inspired in part by spaghetti Westerns of the past and features a vintage Western movie poster cover starring Casey and the band as the “six gun defenders of the doomed plains, outcast into the badlands for crimes they didn’t commit – forever in a standoff with tyranny while serving justice to the guilty.” In the clip, the boys run into trouble against some evil forces and end up rescuing a damsel in distress in a standoff, and if Casey looks right at home brandishing that iron and mounting up to ride off and save the day, it’s because the native Texan grew up roping and riding in his Burleson, TX hometown, the place he still lives and works today on his own spread when he’s not burning up the roads selling out shows across the country.

STANDOFF was released April 16th and quickly landed in the Number One spot on the iTunes Country Chart, and at Number Eight on the Overall Chart iTunes. Casey penned every track but one on the hot new collection, including the new single “Whiskey Baby,” which is climbing the mainstream country and Texas radio charts.
