Falling for You        3:49 Breaking Down      4:34 Another Day 4:36
Be With You   5:10        Here and Now       3:38

This Album begins with Falling for You it’s a nice soft melody. It’s a sweet ballad, if you believe the “American Heritage Dictionary”(a slow usually romantic song with simple stanzas and poetic lyrics), minus the poetic lyrics; simple yes, poetic lyrics no. Probably it was written for a girlfriend, or better yet exgirlfriend. Actually, the words sounds a bit scary. It may just be the ultimate stalker theme song. I could envision William Shakesphere writing a different version of Romeo and Juliet with Romeo kidnapping Juliet, then killing her.
Maybe, it just gets off to a bad start. Nope, Breaking Down keeps it going. I may have been wrong, I think Romeo may be about to kill himself. I guess the kinapping plot didn’t achieve its goal.
Another Day is a bit more upbeat. I seem to think that he should stick to these type of songs. It still has that ‘love theme’ but the lyrics and the rythms are a great deal different. I’m beginning to think that someone else picked the first two songs. It could be a groupie, a friend, a bandmate, who knows maybe there is a stalker lurking in the shadows around him.
Be With You starts off differently with a nice acoustic guitar, a keyboard, and a snare gently tapping. He definitely has a good voice, maybe just too many problems with girls. It seems like every girl he’s singing about either is leaving him or has left him. This guy should get one of those self-help books about keeping a girlfriend.
Here and Now must have been written back in the 80’s because it’s definitely not here and now, and another girl left him.
There are three ways you could convince me to get this album:
1.)    I was a girl during that ‘time of the month’. I had just gotten dumped by a boyfriend, and I lived in a fantasy world where his make-believe feelings, I imagined were in these songs and they somewhat comforted me.
2.)    I had to take some serious hormone medication because I was about to undergo a sexchange.
3.)    I had a teleportation machine that could transport me back to the 1980’s while at the same time fixing my hair so I had a mullet.

JASON ALDEAN AND OVER 60K FANS BRING DOWN UGA STADIUM TONIGHT IN HISTORY MAKING CONCERT

Georgia Native Aldean Tailgates With Fans And Brings Ludacris On Stage For A Special Surprise Performance

Nashville, TN- April 13, 2013- ACM Male Vocalist of the Year Jason Aldean headlined the first ever concert at the University of Georgia's Sanford Stadium for over 60K fans tonight.  The monumental country music event started early with Aldean's fans taking tailgating to a new level, and when the Georgia native himself made a surprise appearance in the parking lot, hysteria ensued.

Aldean's 90 minute set showcased hit after hit including "Hicktown," "Big Green Tractor" and "My Kinda Party," as well as his current single "1994," on one of the biggest outdoor stages in the nation with high resolution video panels, pyrotechnics and a helicopter flyover.  Luke Bryan jumped on stage to perform the reigning ACM Vocal Event of the Year "The Only Way I Know," then the stadium erupted when GRAMMY award winner and fellow Georgia native Ludacris surprised the crowd by joining Aldean for "Dirt Road Anthem."  Current tour mates Thomas Rhett and Jake Owen were also on the bill.

"Seeing everything come together the way it did tonight and feeling the energy of the crowd is something I will never forget," said Aldean.  "When my mom got here last night, we took a walk around the stadium, and it was really emotional for both of us. This place has always meant so much to me, but when I was a kid, we were flat broke and my mom couldn't afford to buy tickets for us to go to a game.  So I watched on TV and dreamed about one day seeing it in person.  Tonight was beyond my wildest dreams…the whole thing has honestly shaken me a little bit…it's has been a night I will never ever forget."

The 2013 NIGHT TRAIN TOUR has sold out every show so far this year, and his next stadium stops include Boston’s Fenway Park (7/12 and 7/13) and Chicago’s Wrigley Field (7/20).

Ireland & UK Tour Dates April, May & June 2013

Ireland & UK Tour Dates April, May & June 2013

Rising folk star Sarah McQuaid sets out on tour across Ireland and the UK -- see details of dates below.

This tour sees the acclaimed singer/songwriter/guitarist taking part in several exciting collaborations. In Scotland, she’ll be performing a series of four concerts “in the round” with fellow songwriters Bill Adair & Richard Grainger in Farncombe, Surrey, she’ll be backed on a number of songs by the
Godalming Community Gospel Choir and later in June, as part of the Golowan Festival, she’ll be supported by three secondary school students from the Music MixX programme at Mounts Bay Academy, where Sarah gave a songwriting workshop earlier this year.

“Being a solo artist, I don’t often get the chance to perform with other musicians and singers,” says Sarah, “so I’m really happy to be doing so much collaborative work on this tour. “I know the gigs in Scotland with Bill and Richard will be great -- I’ve done a couple of ‘in the round’ gigs previously over in the States, at the Bluebird in Nashville and at Anderson Fair in Houston, and it’s really nice to be able to exchange ideas and harmonies in a really off-the-cuff, informal way onstage. “And when Julian Lewry at Farncombe Music Club asked me if I’d like to try working with a gospel choir, I got really excited -- I sang with a children’s choir for many years and still sing with my local church choir, and it’ll be a real honour to have the choir in Godalming joining me on songs I’ve written!”

Sarah McQuaid’s voice has been likened to malt whiskey, melted chocolate and “honey poured into wine” (Minor 7th). A captivating performer, she seduces her audience with cheeky banter and stories from the road, as well as with stunning musicianship; in her hands, the guitar becomes much more than merely an accompanying instrument. Her musical output reflects her own eclectic background: Sarah was born in Spain, raised in Chicago, holds dual US and Irish citizenship, and now lives in rural England. Refusing to be pigeonholed, she spans the genres with both her beautifully crafted originals and her interpretations of material from around the globe and down the centuries. Sarah’s third solo album The Plum Tree and the Rose has drawn critical acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic: “Impeccable,” wrote fRoots (UK), while Midwest Record (USA) called it “low key but glorious and incendiary” and Hot Press (Ireland) said it “should feature on many end-of-year best-ofs.”

Part of the Golowan Festival

Renowned for her warm, engaging stage presence, Sarah McQuaid is a versatile and beguiling performer. Her unique voice delivers a powerful emotional punch that's matched by her distinctive, eloquent guitar style. In addition to her own elegantly crafted originals, she interprets traditional Irish and Appalachian folk songs, Elizabethan Ballads, 1930s jazz numbers, surprise covers and lively guitar instrumentals. Her earthy voice delivers a powerful emotional punch that's matched by her distinctive, eloquent guitar style. Add this to a real rapport with her audience, and you have all the ingredients of a great night out. Sarah is also the author of The Irish DADGAD Guitar Book, described by The Irish Times as "a godsend to aspiring traditional guitarists," and has presented workshops on the DADGAD tuning at festivals and venues around the globe.

The Plum Tree and The Rose has drawn critical acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic: The UK’s fRoots called it “impeccable,” Ireland’s Hot Press said it “should feature on many end-of-year best-ofs,” and Germany’s Folker wrote “Diese Frau hat Stil” (“This lady’s got style”). In the US, Seattle’s Victory Review hailed it as “truly profound and deeply emotive .... This is one for the keeping,” while Midwest Record described it as “low key but glorious and incendiary.”

The album was No. 3 on the Folk-DJ Chart for March 2012, and by April was No. 5 on the Euro Americana Chart; in June, it was No. 6 on the Roots Music Report Folk Top 50.

Produced by Gerry O’Beirne (Midnight Well, Patrick Street, Sharon Shannon Band) and engineered by Trevor Hutchinson (Waterboys, Lúnasa), The Plum Tree and The Rose represents a departure from Sarah’s previous albums in that nine of its thirteen tracks are originals.

Although a thread of personal experience is woven into the material, Sarah truly shines as a teller of parables. Whether she’s recounting the life of 16th century businesswoman Bess of Hardwick or standing in Derby Cathedral and pondering the immortality of the soul, the specific detail subtly manifests a universal truth. These are songs that linger in the listener’s imagination.

Zusätzlich wurde Aldean von der Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas als Male Vocalist of the year ausgezeichnet. Auch trug er die Trophäe für den Vocal Event oft he year für seinen Nr. 1 Song „The Only Way I Know“ nach Hause.
