“The Other Life” Album and Short Film slated for March 12 Release

Nashville, TN (February 6, 2013) – APA Nashville has signed Outlaw Country royalty, Shooter Jennings.  Jennings’ new album, THE OTHER LIFE (Black Country Rock/Entertainment One Nashville), and its short film will be released on March 12, 2013.
“With Shooter’s multi-talented interests in music, film, television and merchandising, there is a virtual franchise of opportunities everywhere you turn,” commented APA Nashville’s Stu Walker. “We could not be more excited to be working with him.”

The only child of country music icons Waylon Jennings and Jessi Colter, Shooter debuted on the country music chart with “4th of July” from his 2005 critically acclaimed album, PUT THE “O” BACK IN COUNTRY.  He has since released four other albums, including his upcoming THE OTHER LIFE.

Jennings also continues his 7-year tenure on Sirius XM’s Outlaw Country channel with his signature show, “Electric Rodeo.” He has worn many hats throughout his career as the self-described "son of a rebel saint," the hell-raising vigilante minister of the revival of true country music, a radical prophet who uses rock ‘n’ roll as his medium, and the guiding light for an ever-growing army of young musicians who, like Shooter himself, are outsiders in today's music business.  For upcoming tour dates, visit

(Nashville, TN-2.6.13) Century II Recording artist Bobby G. Rice is enjoying a new resurgence in his always successful music career. This Saturday Night, February 9th, he will be appearing on a Special Midnite Jamboree to celebrate the 99th birthday celebration of Ernest Tubb.  You can catch Bobby’s performance beginning at midnight on WSM/650AM.

On Sunday morning, February 10th,  Bobby will be making a guest appearance on Cowboy Church.  Services begins at 10AM, and is broadcast into over 110 countries, reaching millions through WSM Radio, Sirius/XM Satellite Radio, and WWCR (World Wide Country Radio).

He continues to climb the U. S. and European charts with his two stepping new single “Down In Texas.”  Bobby’s tour dates will make 2013 one of his best years to date.  That old cliché of “he’s back in the loop,” comes with this great new record making new fans for his music, and since the release of his current single he is enjoying more radio and media attention, plus he is going back in the studio with some great new music.  A second release is in the works as this time.

Bobby G. has kept his recording career and touring schedule always moving in the direction of upward and forward, which has allowed him to keep pace with today’s country music by staying current with his music.  He would like to thank all of the DJ’s worldwide for playing his music, especially his new single, and invites you to visit his website and send him a message.  From “You Lay So Easy On My Mind to Down In Texas, and much more on the way.”

Kenny Chesney’s NO SHOES NATION 2013 Tour in Full Ramp-Up

Guitar Players, Report for Spring Training Feb 13

Kenny Chesney’s NO SHOES NATION 2013 Tour in Full Ramp-Up
“Pirate Flag” Waves Hard as His 8th Top 25 Debut!
Nashville, TN: They’re doing it all over Florida and Arizona… Getting the equipment, loading up the gear and digging in. And for Kenny Chesney and his No Shoes Nation, it’s no different. As February finds its legs, the 4-consecutive Academy of Country Music and 4-time Country Music Association Entertainer is already waist high in video footage for an even bigger video presence and sorting through lighting designs, and on Feb. 13, the band reports to an undisclosed location to begin musical rehearsals for what promises to be Chesney’s biggest tour to date.
“I used to say we’re like a baseball team: six months on, six months off, because I love baseball so much,” Chesney says. “But the truth is, what we do to create what people see from a show this size out there on the road really does take a lot of work, a lot of thought and a lot of practice. And the great thing about my crew is they get as much a charge seeing the fans respond to what goes into all this work as the band and I do when we’re on stage.”
With “Pirate Flag,” the swaggering anthem of rebellion right where you are, being Hot Shot Debut, Breaker, Most Increased Audience and Most Added at Billboard this week, where it hit the charts at #22 marking his 8th Top 25 debut. The next closest Top 25 chartbreaker is the iconic Garth Brooks who’s done it four times.
For Chesney, who appears at the Musicares’ Person of the Year dinner honoring Bruce Springsteen as Friday’s Grammy kick-off event, he’s been in edit bays and looking at schematics of lighting rigs since January. But for the songwriter/entertainer, it all gets a little more exciting when the band reports for rehearsals.
“That’s when the music really starts happening, and everybody’s playing and catching up,” Chesney offers. “These are my brothers of the road, and we live to get out there and be a part of everybody’s summer! So when we’re working up the new songs – and ‘Pirate Flag’ is gonna rock – or maybe something people haven’t heard in a while, we’re already imagining how the fans are gonna respond!
“The No Shoes Nation are the best music fans in the world – that’s why we named the tour after the fans! They love these songs like they live their lives in’em, and we take that serious. They come out every summer and throw everything they got at us so hard, that’s why we rehearse – just the band – for a couple weeks before we even think about production! The music has to be right, so we’re gonna make sure we’re ready.”
Kicking off March 16 at Tampa’s Raymond James’ Stadium, home of the Buccaneers, the No Shoes Nation Tour plays a mixture of NFL Stadiums, basketball arenas and outdoor amphitheaters across the country. With “Pirate Flag” named USA Today’s Song of the Week before release and Life On A Rock due April 30, it looks like it could be the No Shoes Nation’s best summer…ever.

Gin Wigmore
Gravel & Wine

Gin selbst beschreibt „Gravel & Wine“ so:

Ministry of Sound - Clubbers Guide 2013, Vol. 1

Florence Welch, Booka Shade, Sean Finn, Otto Knows, Sebastian Ingrosso, Swedish House Mafia u.v.m. Sie alle machen das Album zu einem absoluten Must Have unter den Club-Compilations!

Fall Out Boy
März in Berlin
Fall Out Boy melden sich zurück!

Schon mit ihrem Label-Debüt-Album „From Under The Cork Tree“ entfachten Fall Out Boy einen Sturm der Euphorie in der Alternative Rock-Szene.

My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up)“ ist dabei das erste Lebenszeichen der Band und bietet einen Einblick in das fünfte Studioalbum „Save Rock And Roll“, das am 03.

Hier gibt es das Video zu „My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up)“ zu sehen.
