McGraw Launches First-Ever "Fanticipation" Program With
Tumblr In Each Market
Debut Big Machine Records Album "Two Lanes Of Freedom" Set For Release On Feb 5
Nashville, TN- Jan. 15, 2013-  Country Music Icon Tim McGraw announced today that his TWO LANES OF FREEDOM 2013 TOUR, presented by Pennzoil, will crank up this summer in Birmingham, AL on May 2 and continue on to 30 cities through July.   The U.S. trek, will also feature emerging artists Brantley Gilbert and Love and Theft.
McGraw has partnered with Tumblr to create the "Fanticipation" program which will allow fans, for the first time ever, to announce through Tumblr when tickets will be available in their own hometown.   Beginning in early February, McGraw will call a fan in each market who is selected to participate in "Fanticipation" and personally tip them off, so they can share the information with their friends and other McGraw fans first.   For more information on "Fanticipation," click here: http://timmcgraw.tumblr.com/
After more than two decades on the road, McGraw's ability to entertain and command a crowd continues to be a defining characteristic of both his artistry and superstar status.   Earlier this year the Tampa Tribune described McGraw's live show as "effortless" while the Atlanta Journal Constitution remarked "he's so casually cool onstage" and OC Weekly said "It's a bold claim, but McGraw could and should be poised to reign as king of country music…"
"This album marks a new sense of excitement and artistic freedom for me, and I really wanted to extend that same feeling to the tour and create a cool vibe for the fans," explains McGraw.  "Let's leave anything that might be weighing us down out in the parking lot and spend a few hours together feeling alive and free.  We've started working up new songs from the album, and there's some really cool stuff we'll be able to pull out this summer. My band is just kick-ass…there's nothing these guys can't play!  We'll be counting the days til Birmingham!"

On Feb. 5, McGraw will release his first album on Big Machine Records, TWO LANES OF FREEDOM The album follows his record-shattering career, selling over 40 million albums and dominating the charts with 32 No. one singles.  Since the release of his debut album in 1993, he has won three GRAMMY’s, 14 ACM Awards, 12 CMA Awards, and 10 AMA’s, while simultaneously maintaining a parallel career as a successful actor in such films as the Oscar nominated The Blind SideCountry Strong and Friday Night Lights—as well as hosting Saturday Night Live, a rare honor for a singer in any genre.  Nielsen-BDS recently certified McGraw as the most-played Country artist of the past 20 years (1992-2012) with more than 10 million spins detected and Mediabase recognized him as the most-played Country artist in the history of their tracking service.
Brantley Gilbert has already earned a striking set of “notches” on his industry belt, including four No. one singles and impressive album sales of over 1 million.  Rising duo Love and Theft celebrated their first No. one song "Angel Eyes" last year from their self-titled album.
For Tim McGraw and Pennzoil, cars represent freedom, which is why both have teamed up for the second year to celebrate the love of music and cars.

NASHVILLE, TN – (January 15, 2013) – Carnival Music’s newcomer Brent Cobb is fueling the fire with the exclusive online debut of his latest installment in “The Fireside Sessions,” a unique live music video series that launched in December 2012. The new video features an intimate look at Brent’s fan favorite tune, “Diggin’ Holes,” co-written by himself and Casey Wood. The Ellaville, Georgia native’s witty and spirited song comes to life on Country Music Is Love today, Tuesday (1/15).
Watch The Fireside Session for “Diggin’ Holes” now via: http://www.countrymusicislove.com/2013/01/brent-cobb-fireside-sessions-diggin-holes.html
Directed by Reid Long and filmed at dusk around a roaring campfire on a farm just outside of Nashville, TN, the video captures Brent’s gripping, passionate vocals, rhythmic melodies and laid-back personality.
“Casey and I wrote 'Diggin' Holes' the first time we got together to write. We were both sort of in the dog house at that time in our lives and trying to make ends meet,” said Brent to Country Music Is Love. “Casey shared that his brother, who could play music, never came to Nashville. He chose to stay back in Kentucky to work in the coal mines ... because he was 'pretty good at diggin' holes.' The phrase stuck and we combined that idea with not being great in a relationship. The outcome felt honest."
Brent has quickly become known as one of Nashville’s most promising tunesmiths with his songs recorded by the likes of Luke Bryan, Little Big Town, David Nail, Kellie Pickler and the Eli Young Band. With the release of his debut single “Love On Me” to country radio airwaves and self-titled EP produced by Matthew Miller and Oran Thornton, Brent is turning the tables and bringing country music fans his first recording as an artist.
Currently, Brent is out on the road visiting radio and playing shows nationwide with upcoming dates in Starkville, MS (1/17), Tuscaloosa, AL (1/18) and Oxford, MS (1/19).

Greg Duckworth, Wendy Williams, and Brian Duckworth of Taylor Made
with Governor Earl Ray Tomblin and his wife Joanne.

CHARLSTON, W. Va. (January 15th, 2013) - In their first official performance of the new year, country recording trio and West Virginia natives Taylor Made provided the entertainment at the black-tie inaugural ball for Governor Earl Ray Tomblin on Monday, January 14th at the Clay Center in Charleston. The show, during which Taylor Made performed their current single That's What Life Is, also included several other West Virginia-based acts. Earlier that day, the former President of the Senate was sworn in for what will be his first and only four-year term on the state capitol's south portico steps.

"We're proud of our home state and love an opportunity to support it," said Greg Duckworth of Taylor Made. "Being asked to perform at the inaugural ball was an honor. We look forward to supporting our governor in bettering this great state."

That's What Life Is is currently at #52 on the Billboard Indicator chart and #56 on the Music Row chart. The trio is working to finish their yet-to-be-titled second album with Little General Records, as well as gearing up for their 2013 tour season.

About Taylor Made:
Born and raised in Grafton, West Virginia, sibling trio Taylor Made has been performing together since childhood. With a background in church and back porch singing, the trio reformed as I-79 for the Colgate Country Showdown. It was only a matter of time before their sibling harmonies caught the attention of Little General Stores owner Greg Darby, who signed them to his West Virginia-based Little General Records under the new name Taylor Made (after their Taylor County upbringing). In 2011, they released single Good Love off of their EP of the same title, which topped off at #42 on the Billboard Indicator chart and #28 on the Music Row chart. Their next single, Things You Don't Grow Out Of, took them into the top 40 on Billboard Indicator (#37) and the top 20 on Music Row (#19). For more information on Taylor Made, visit www.taylormadecountry.com.

About Governor Earl Ray Tomblin:
60-year-old Logan County Democrat Earl Ray Tomblin has spent the last 36 years in politics. His service includes chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, as well as an 18-year run as President of the Senate. He became acting Governor when former Governor Joe Manchin was elected into the US Senate and, in 2011, was officially elected as Governor. Earl Ray is credited with saving taxpayers millions by revising the state pension system and privatizing workers' compensation, stabilizing state finances by establishing West Virginia’s rainy day fund, reforming the state’s medical system, keeping doctors in this state, and implementing a plan to eliminate the state’s food tax. The Native Nations Inaugural Ball will feature music, dancing and native cuisine. Funds raised will support the educational programs of the National Museum of the American Indian.

Located on the National Mall in Washington D.C., the museum is one of three facilities operated by The National Museum of the American Indian. It offers exhibition galleries and spaces for performances, lectures and symposia, research, and education.

Chris Young will Rock the U.K. & Ireland

Heading to the U.K. & Ireland with the CMA Songwriter Series

January 15, 2013 – Nashville, TN – Chris Young will be honored on January 29th by the CMA with the coveted Triple Play Award for his #1 hits “Voices,” “Tomorrow,” and “You.”  The award recognizes songwriters who have written three number-one songs within a 12-month period.

As a Triple Play honoree, it is a natural fit for CMA to select Chris as a featured artist to help further the popularity of country music overseas.  In February, Young makes his inaugural trip to the U.K. and Ireland as part of the Country Music Association’s Songwriters Series with stops in Dublin, Belfast and London. The series is set to be recorded and broadcast at a later date on BBC Radio 2.

“I Can Take It From There,” Young’s latest single from his highly acclaimed third album NEON, recently released to country radio and is already Top 20 on the radio charts.

ABOUT CHRIS YOUNG: 2013 is off to a great start with Chris Young not only continuing as headliner of his Liquid Neon Tour stateside, but also taking his music to an international level with performances slated in Ireland, the U.K., and Australia.   The Grammy nominated vocalist continues to accumulate more career milestones with last year's highlights including TV performances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Talk, and the 47th Annual ACM Awards on CBS, appearances on the Grammy Nominations Concert Live on CBS, and CMT Artist of the Year special, a sold-out tour with Miranda Lambert, ACM nominations for Male Vocalist and Single of the Year and his fifth consecutive chart-topping single.  He also added PLATINUM and four GOLD RIAA certified singles plus a GOLD album for his sophomore release, The Man I Want To Be to his accolades. Young won Breakthrough Artist of the Year and Single of the Year at the 2011 American Country Awards, racked up four ACA nominations in 2012, and was named People's Sexy Man of the Week. With his rich, warm baritone and penchant for writing relatable, slice-of-life songs, Young, as described by Entertainment Weekly, clearly “has a long, lucrative future ahead of him.” For tour dates and all the latest information on Chris Young, visit http://chrisyoungcountry.com/ and follow him on Twitter @ChrisYoungMusic.

"Bleeding Out" Named iTunes Single of the Week
Band to Make Their Television Debut Performing on Conan Jan. 22nd
The Lone Bellow
click /embed interactive image
Hailing from Brooklyn via south of the Mason-Dixon, THE LONE BELLOW has signed to Descendant Records, a division of Sony Music Entertainment.  Their self-titled album will be released at iTunes and independent retailers on January 15th with a wide release on January 22nd. Additionally, "Bleeding Out" will be iTunes "Single of the Week" this week.  The Lone Bellow has received some impressive early attention - most notably a January 22nd appearance on Conan, NPR's "First Listen;" and heavy rotation on  renowned taste-maker station WFUVBillboard calls the band "one of The Next Big Things for 2013," with NPR's Bob Boilen saying, "The world of acoustic music is about to get a new household name. The music of The Lone Bellow is born from tragedy and told with heart and simplicity."

Featuring lead singer and principal songwriter Zach Williams; singer and mandolin player Kanene Pipkin, and guitarist Brian Elmquist, The Lone Bellow have made a name for themselves with their acclaimed live shows in New York and across the country during their stint opening for The Civil Wars.  At the heartof it, Zach Williams is an intentional songwriter focused on growing a community, rather than merely finding a following.  The Lone Bellow isn't just a group of musicians; they are an "urban tribe," a family away from family.
Georgia-born Williams began songwriting in 2005, during a prolonged stay at Atlanta's Shepherd Center after his wife was thrown from a horse and paralyzed from the neck down. With a dire diagnosis of quadriplegia, there was nothing to do but sit vigil with his group of friends - also artists.  While they waited for healing, Zach picked up a guitar and taught himself to play.  His wife eventually recovered (her spinal cord, initially thought broken, was terribly bruised) and the couple and their group of friends moved to Brooklyn shortly thereafter.
Williams and the band's music evolved to reflect his Southern roots, incorporating elements of rock, gospel, country and blues that result in a unique and soul-searing blend of can't-get-them-out-of-your-head lyrics that spring from a deep emotional reservoirThe upcoming record is a complete work, a "collection of stories embodying tragedy, hope, betrayal and redemption." The first track "Your Never Need Nobody" is out now.  Tour dates below with more to be announced soon:
Jan 21 - Los Angeles, CA at Hotel Café
Jan 24 - Montclair, NJ at Wellmont Theater w/Dwight Yoakam
Jan 25 - Mashantucket, CT at Foxwoods Resort & Casino at MGM Grand w/Dwight Yoakam
Jan 28 - New York, NY in-store performance at Barnes & Noble in Union Square
Feb 5 - New York, NY at Bowery Ballroom (Album Release Show)

"Passionate and self-assured, this trio's debut treads a middle ground between Mumford bombast and neo-folkie navel gazing. They call it 'Brooklyn country music,' a rootsy brew flavored with close harmonies and light on hipster pretension." - Jerry Shriver, USA Today

"songs of survival and redemption, written out of necessity rather than opportunity." - Stephen Thompson, NPR

"Riding a strong reputation for heartfelt creations and an electric live show, Brooklyn's The Lone Bellow is set to make its mark on the music industry."
- Paste

"...you needn't look further than the country-fried soul of The Lone Bellow...the Brooklyn-based trio plugs into an old tradition of Folk Americana, and brings it to life in a way that should help keep you warm this winter." - Deli Magazine

"[The Civil Wars] had some competition in the harmony realm from The Lone Bellow, a Brooklyn-based trio cut from the same rootsy fabric." - Orlando Sentinel

Siblings Kimberly, Reid and Neil Perry quickly catapulted into the mainstream with the success of their Quadruple-Platinum, breakout hit “If I Die Young.” In 2011, the tune took the #1 position on both Country and AC charts as well as earned 2011 CMA Single AND Song of the Year. Their success continued with “You Lie” and the Gold-certified, #1 smash “All Your Life.” The Band Perry has won multiple ACM, CMA and CMT Music Awards as well as GRAMMY, TEEN CHOICE, AMA, ACA and Billboard Music Award nominations.

Yahoo! Ram Country Currently Premiering Exclusive Live Performances of “Only God Could Love You More,” “Shinin’ On Me” and “Lover, Lover”
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Country music singer/songwriter Jerrod Niemann wrapped up his Jägermeister Presents Tour Friday night, Jan. 11 in Chattanooga, Tenn. at Track 29 after performing nearly 30 dates with the imported liqueur sponsor since early October 2012. "The Jäger tour has been an absolute blast," says Niemann. "I'm sad to see it come to an end, but we're looking forward to keeping our own tour going and bringing our new music to fans in Texas, New York and everywhere in between!"
Moving forward, Niemann and his band commence a solo tour performing at large clubs and festivals in 2013 in hopes of surpassing their touring precedent of over 200 shows per year. Upcoming stops include Abilene, Texas (Jan. 17), Nacogdoches, Texas (Jan. 18), Katy, Texas (Jan. 19), Oxford, OH (Jan. 23), and Columbus, OH (Jan. 24), among others. Ram Country. Click here to watch.
As reported by Yahoo! and Rolling Stone, Niemann says, "I feel like ['Only God Could Love You More'] has connected more than maybe any song that I've ever had the opportunity to record. Through hearing it, maybe somebody will find their way back to the person they love—or maybe they'll realize it's time to move on. Either way, hopefully it's a message that'll connect."
Viewers of Yahoo! Ram Country will also get to take in a behind-the-scenes interview with Niemann about where his out-of-the-box ideas on current album Free The Music came from and how he depends on his fans when it comes to road-testing new songs.
