NO JUSTICE CONTINUES THEIR WINNING STREAK OF ACCLIAMED RECORD RELEASES WITH AMERICA’S SON DECEMBER 4TH
FANS CAN ENTER TO WIN
AUTOGRAPHED GUITAR AS AMATUER MUSIC CRITICS
Nashville, TN-(December 4, 2012)-When asked “what is the best music advice you have ever been given?” Steve Rice quipped, “Don’t quit your day job.” Taken in the literal sense, Rice would have coveted his caution from the wind and settled down into the normalcy of forty hours a week permanently engraved on a time card. Luckily, Rice’s literal sense mapped a far greater landscape of normalcy heading one of the top ranking bands in the independent music scene whose broad style and catalog is as robust as the hordes of fans that span the country and a decade. On December 4th AMERICA’S SON will be delivered to eager fans that will have the chance to give birth to their journalistic skills as music critics. The band is offering an autographed electric guitar to the best fan review posted on their Facebook page. The contest will run for one month ending on January 4th. The winner will be notified via Facebook.
Hatched from the Red Dirt music mecca of Stillwater, Oklahoma and adopted into the live music epicenter of Texas, No Justice has cultivated a powerful brand built on unforgettable melodies, miles of solid comprehensive songwriting, and adorned with four
acclaimed record releases with combined record sales topping over 100,000 units, two #1 hits and eight Top 10 singles on the Texas Music Chart, and a demand for live performances that keep them on the road over 200 days a year. To succeed in chartering a career with this kind of longevity today is not fundamentally based on awards or chart action or even sales stats, though No Justice has all of that and more in spades. The absolute key, the very core of any successful music career depends ultimately on the quality of the music and the continuity in which that music is produced. To put it simply, you have to create a pool of music that people want to swim in and No Justice has done
just that, now five records deep.
AMERICA’S SON is a family affair with a repeat performance from producer Dexter Green (Collective Soul) and released by Smith Music Group, longtime friends and partners who are responsible for the release of three previous records. Newer fans that found themselves addicted to the rock infused sound of their previous 2010 release SECOND AVENUE might be caught a little off guard by this lighter fix, but long time No Justice fans will be quickly transported back to the early days and immersed in the country music sound and heartbreaking melodies that No Justice is most revered for. Brand new songs cloaked in the gains and losses of a nomadic life are wiser for the wear here and the nuances of a greater appreciation in life do not go unnoticed. The record also features a star-studded cast both on the recordings and behind the scenes including guest vocal performances by Elizabeth Cook on “Songs On The Radio” and Rebecca Lynn Howard on the rejuvenated piano soaked “Don’t Walk Away.” Jason Isbell, previously of the Drive By Truckers, provides brilliant slide guitar and backing vocals on the record’s first single “Never Gonna Be Enough” and Texas music fans will pleasantly
discover a couple of tunes co-written with Casey Donahew as well as Trent Willmon and Clint Ingersol. By going back to their roots No Justice has taken a huge step forward much like the bravest of us who venture out of our comfort zones and then return home with a stronger sense of self having faced the new and unknown with audacity. No Justice is Steve Rice (lead vocals/acoustic guitar), Armando Lopez (drums), Cody Patton (lead guitar, vocals), Justin Morris (bass, vocals) and Bryce Conway (keys). AMERICA’S SON is all of us who laugh, cry, live and love.

Lisa Matassa's New EP, SOMEBODY'S BABY, Resonating With Radio & Fans
Available Today At Amazon, iTunes & CDBaby
With a voice that FAME writer Mark S. Tucker calls "big, brassy, clear and confident" that "takes no prisoners, no guff," Lisa's EP "rocks the block, fills up the neighborhood and starts heading for the outlands to make converts to the cause." Tucker adds, "Lisa Matassa can count herself a lead member of the pack of arena country anthemic rockers."
The enhanced disc, comprised of seven songs and a bonus music video, was produced by Tony Bruno (Rihanna, Enrique Iglesias) and recorded in Nashville and New York. The Long Island songstress contributed three tracks: "Wouldn't You Like to Know," "Girl with a Rock 'n Roll Heart" and "Learning as You Grow." Other writers include Bryan Adams, Kelly Archer, Dolly Parton and Don Rollins.
Billboard.com's Chuck Dauphin notes that Lisa's "vivacious spirit" comes across on SOMEBODY'S BABY. "Whether it be the up-tempo sheen of the title cut or the warmth exuded on ballads like 'Heaven' and the stirring 'Learning As You Grow,' she is a star on the rise."
Matassa's first single from the disc, the title track, is moving steadily up the Billboard/BDS Indicator Chart ( #49 ) and is a Top 10 hit in Europe. Her "Somebody's Baby" video has already garnered nearly 2 MILLION YouTube views. The visually-enticing piece, directed by hotshot Traci Goudie (Hunter Hayes, Merle Haggard, Emmylou Harris, Patty Griffin), is included on the enhanced EP. Fans will also find another special bonus: Matassa has included the audio track for her favorite holiday number, "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire)." The Christmas Song video was last year's #1 Holiday Video on CMT. It will air again on the network this month, as well as on GAC and TCN. Radio can catch the holiday spirit via PlayMPE and can access the full album at AIRPLAY DIRECT.

Gary Allan offers a story of hope in the video for his new single, Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain). And the country singer hopes to use the video, premiering exclusively at USA TODAY, to encourage fans to donate to the Red Cross for victims of Hurricane Sandy.
Allan was supposed to play Atlantic City the weekend the hurricane hit. "Obviously, that got canceled," he says. "Two weeks later, we shot the video, and it all seemed to make sense."
Allan wrote Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain) with Matt Warren and Hillary Lindsey, who sings harmony on the track and is part of Allan's band in the video. "She's one of the most creative people I've ever been around," Allan says.

Pete Kennedy Wraps Up His International Tour With Impressive Company
(Nashville, TN) Irish Singer/Songwriter Pete Kennedy brought his international tour to a close earlier this month after a 3-month stint opening for incredible pop icon/composer Neil Sedaka and Philadelphia soul group The Stylistics. It was the experience of a lifetime for Kennedy, who played 27 shows to an audience of nearly 36,000 people across the UK between October and December. Kennedy also was invited to join national and regional radio stations, RTE (Ireland) BBC (UK), along with a number of local stations in the UK.
“Pete Kennedy was truly a crowd pleasing warm up act and a delight to have on tour,” Sedaka says of his experience with this burgeoning country artist.
After spending several busy months in Nashville this year filming his debut music video and performing at the fan-filled CMA Fest, the opportunity to tour closer to home was a welcome one for Pete. With the holidays fast approaching, he’ll use his newfound downtime to rejuvenate for what is sure to be an eventful new year.
“This tour has been amazing and I am so grateful to have been a part of it,” said Pete. I am taking away many new fans that I would not have been able to reach if not for the Sedaka/Stylisitics tour.”
Pete Kennedy is the walking, talking, singing embodiment of how the world sees the people of Ireland—repeatedly bouncing back from tragedy and finding inspiration in music. After a lifetime of working solely to support his family, Pete was finally able to pursue his love of music in 2008. Foraging his path by playing local pubs in Germany and the UK, Pete began to make a name for himself in the world of country music. His entrepreneurial style resulted in the formation of his own label, KEMC Records and his first EP. From there, he caught the eye of CMR Nashville’s Lee Williams, who brought Pete to Nashville to play his first show at Cadillac Ranch as a representative of Ireland for the International Artist Showcase prior to the 2011 CMA Awards. He has since released his first album, The Nashville Sessions Volume 1, which has received critical acclaim and was named UK Album of the Year at the 2012 British Country Music Awards. The music video for his British Country Music Award nominated single, “I Am The One,” can be viewed here.
