Hayden recently shared with US Weekly that she’d love to record a full country record!
“I recorded an album when I was younger, and I always said that if I was going to go back to music, I would do country. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.” -Hayden Panettiere

Jonathan Edwards, Chris Hillman & Herb Pederson, Gretchen Peters To Appear on Mountain Stage Broadcast

Jonathan Edwards, Chris Hillman & Herb Pederson, Gretchen Peters
To Appear on Mountain Stage Broadcast beginning Oct. 26

Jonathan Edwards' recent appearance on the acclaimed West Virginia Public Radio program, Mountain Stage, is set to broadcast nationwide during the week of Oct. 26.

Recorded live at The North House Folk School on the North Shore of Lake Superior in Grand Marais, Minnesota, the show also features Chris Hilllman & Herb Pederson, Mollie O'Brien & Rich Moore, Gretchen Peters and Chip Taylor.

Jonathan Edwards, who topped the charts with the classic hit “Sunshine” in the 1970s, recently released his first album in 14 years, My Love Will Keep. “Jonathan Edwards’ voice sounds wonderful, maybe better than ever,” wrote Country Music  People’s Paul Riley. “He sings with purity and passion. Some of the huge talent, compassion,  passion and style of Jonathan Edwards should  not have a14 year gap between albums. The  world needs more Jonathan Edwards discs.”

Edwards remains one of the premiere troubadours of the past 40 years, who debuted in many hearts and minds with the 1971 release of his hit single, “Sunshine,” the first gold record for then-fledgling Capricorn Records. His debut album for Capricorn and subsequent releases on Atlantic Records and other labels (including his own imprint), showcased the Virginia-raised artist’s country, folk and bluegrass influences and demonstrated his penchant for writing songs of both honesty and poignancy.

THE NORTH HOUSE FOLK SCHOOL is a community supported non-profit destination that teaches traditional northern craft in a student-centered learning environment. Mountain Stage is honored to be a part of North House’s annual Unplugged fundraiser for the second consecutive year.

The Band Perry Gets "Shorts-Cited" By Headliner Brad Paisley

Nashville, TN - (October 23, 2012) -- The Band Perry fell prey to Brad Paisley's tour antics on Friday night (10/19) in San Diego, CA when Brad sent his crew out on stage dressed as "Lt. Dangle," from Comedy Central's hit show "Reno 911."

Apparently Brad thought the sibling trio needed a little "policing."  Kimberly, Reid and Neil took it all in stride and never missed a beat.

"We had just started our first song and we knew something was up when the audience started laughing," said Reid Perry.

"Brad, we've had a great time touring with you … don't worry, we're not planning any sort of a retaliation," innocently smirked Neil Perry.

"We're so grateful to Brad for inviting us be part of his touring family this past year and for being such a fun-loving host. We just hope on the next tour he can buy his crew members some longer shorts!" laughed Kimberly Perry.

The Band Perry will debut their new single, "Better Dig Two," during the CMA Awards on 11/1, airing on ABC at 8P ET/7P CT. Republic Nashville will take the new music to Country radio on 11/5. For more information, visit www.TheBandPerry.com.

PAM TILLIS THE MONSTER & THE BANJO

AOL's THE BOOT DEBUTS PAM TILLIS'
"THE MONSTER & THE BANJO" MUSIC VIDEO

Nashville, Tenn. (October 23, 2012) - Today, exclusively on AOL's The Boot and just in time for Halloween, Country music star Pam Tillis debuted her latest music video, titled "The Monster & The Banjo."

Tillis produced and stars in the bluegrass-themed music video, shot earlier this month on a hazy, erie fall morning on location in the Tennessee wilderness, just outside of Nashville.

"I've known about this song for a long time," notes Tillis.  "I was going going through my music library one day and it hit me that it would be a fun music video to make for Halloween!"

For casting the video, Tillis rounded up some of her favorite child musicians to perform, and recruited friends and family for the additional roles, living and dead.

Tillis adds, "It's all my friends and family. My mother-in-law played Granny although she's way prettier than she comes off here.  I was surprised at how easy it was to get zombies... watch for zombie cameos from my tour manager and publicist!.  I'm proud of my zombies but especially proud of all the incredible young musicians who are all between 10 and 14 years old.  Hope you enjoy and Happy Halloween!"
