The band’s debut album, Ain’t Goin Back to Jail, premiered in September of 2010. The album produced three Top 20 singles on the Texas Country Radio Charts including, “Perfect Girl,” “Whiskey Days,” and “Love Don’t Let You Decide.”  With over 60,000 digital downloads and an average of 1,500 downloads per week there are no signs of slowing down.  Since their debut to radio, JB and the Moonshine Band has had over three Top 10 songs to date (TEXAS Country Radio Charts). JB serves as the band’s lyricist, writing/co-writing all of the songs on their albums.

ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC PLEDGES $2.5 MILLION TO COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME® AND MUSEUM’S CAPITAL CAMPAIGN

ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC PLEDGES $2.5 MILLION TO
COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME® AND MUSEUM’S CAPITAL CAMPAIGN

The Academy of Country Music Contemporary Gallery Will Spotlight
Emerging Artists and Current Superstars

NASHVILLE, Tenn., July 11, 2012 – The Academy of Country Music has pledged $2.5 million to Working on a Building: Country Music Lives Here, the capital campaign that will finance the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum’s expansion from 140,000 square feet to more than 350,000 square feet. The museum’s expansion will include the ACM Contemporary Gallery, which will examine modern developments and current trends in country music.

For years, the Academy has been a generous supporter of the museum’s mission. In 2009, the ACM donated a lead gift of $300,000 to assist with the institution’s acquisition of four instruments integral to the creativity and cultural legacies of the late Maybelle Carter, Johnny Cash and Bill Monroe. The Academy has also provided support for the institution’s All for the Hall Los Angeles benefits, and the ACM is currently one of the sponsors of the museum’s new major exhibition, The Bakersfield Sound: Buck Owens, Merle Haggard, and California Country. In addition, the Academy has donated usage of their entire photo database to the museum for exhibits and special installations.

“It is the Academy’s honor to help ensure that the history of country music can be told for generations to come,” said Bob Romeo, CEO of the Academy of Country Music. “We are able to make this kind of contribution only because of the incredible country music artists who give of their time for Academy charitable endeavors; we can’t thank them enough for the impact they have on our industry.”

“We are deeply indebted to the ACM for this wonderful gift, which will help us continue to fulfill our educational mission and serve our worldwide audience,” said Museum Director Kyle Young.  “The genre we chronicle is a living thing, constantly evolving; country music history is being made every day.  Great museums must remain relevant, and the ACM Contemporary Gallery will allow us to not only expand our examination and celebration of modern stars, important background players and new developments in the genre, but also to spotlight new artists, trends and issues as they break.”

With Country Music Hall of Fame member Kris Kristofferson and Ford Motor Company Executive Chairman Bill Ford as honorary co-chairs, the museum launched its Working on a Building campaign in late July 2011; to date, $70 million in cash and pledges have been secured. Designed by Tuck-Hinton Architects, the expansion is expected to be completed in early 2014.

The Killers
The Killers veröffentlichen neues Album "Battle Born" am 14.
The Killers legen am 14.
Songs wie "Somebody Told Me", "Mr.

Carrie Hassler Two IBMA Awards

Carrie Hassler Celebrating New Album, THE DISTANCE
Candidate for Nomination for Two IBMA Awards

Mike Terry (WSM Radio) and Carrie Hassler during her recent WSM Radio's Station Inn Sessions

We are proud to announce Carrie Hassler is a candidate for nomination for Female Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year for the 2012 International Bluegrass Music Association Awards.  We sincerely appreciate your considerationwhen casting your vote.
Carrie Hassler's new Rural Rhythm album, THE DISTANCE includes the current chart track, "Get Me Over You" that is currently #4 on SiriusXM Bluegrass Junction's Most Played Tracks with the album landing in the Most Played Albums this month.  This popular new song is also on this week's Bluegrass Today Top 20 Airplay Chart with another track and first single release, "Luxury Liner" also appearing on the chart over the last few months.

You can click here to listen to samples of her new album, but we thought you would like to see what folks are saying about her incredible voice ............
The Distance is a great way to end a strong album that
definitely positions Carrie Hassler as one of the best female vocalists in all of the roots music genres.”
ROUGHSTOCK
“As always, Hassler’s powerful voice is front and center, and she is assisted by some real heavyweights in the studio. Ron Stewart is on banjo, Alan Bibey on mandolin, Tim Stafford on guitar, Justin Moses on fiddle and Mark Fain on bass.”
BLUEGRASS TODAY
"Wow! Luxury Liner is a fantastic performance by Carrie Hassler. It's great to receive new music by Carrie and hear her beautiful voice on such fresh and engaging material."
Kyle Cantrell – SiriusXM Radio

This Bluegrass singer rounded up some of the best musicians to play on this eight song album.  Hassler also has an amazingly angelic voice that makes you want to listen to more and more! The standout song on this album is Get Me Over You, which was written by Jennifer Strickland, Craig Market and Jenny Lynn. Great musicianship, great songs and a great voice make this album one to hear.”
POWER SOURCE MAGAZINE

“Alison Krauss fans might want to check this one out: an introspective/romantic set of countrified bluegrass, with understated picking and heartfelt vocals."
DJ Joe Sixpack, Slipcue Guide To Country Music

“Maybe the gem of the collection is the stunning Catch My Breath, which sounds like something that could be straight from the pages of Connie Smith a la 1967. Hassler has been paying her dues and growing as an artist for a long time now, and with The Distance, I think it’s obvious she’s ready for that next step!”
MUSIC NEWS NASHVILLE

"Carrie Hassler's Luxury Liner carried me away. Super tempo, superb vocals, and top of the line pickin' plus a nod to Emmylou's version.
Gram would've loved it."
Barry Tashian (The Original Flying Burrito Bros., Emmylou Harris' Hot Band, Barry & The Remains, Holly & Barry Tashian)

JOHN ETTINGER AND EMERSON DRIVE DEBUT THE TALENT ASSOCIATES

JOHN ETTINGER AND EMERSON DRIVE DEBUT THE
TALENT ASSOCIATES

MUSIC COMPANY TO FOCUS ON MANAGEMENT, CONSULTING AND CREATIVE SERVICES

Toronto, ON - Veteran label executive John Ettinger is thrilled to announce the launch of The Talent Associates (TTA), a full-service management and creative company based in Nashville, TN. Key members of the team are founders of the group Emerson Drive - lead singer Brad Mates, and guitarist, songwriter and producer, Danick Dupelle. In addition to Ettinger continuing as management for Emerson Drive, The Talent Associates plans to bring a number of services to artists and companies in North America.

"We're putting together a terrific group of 'Associates,' and we plan to be very active from all angles, including production and publishing," said Ettinger, known for his successful work with Emerson Drive, Sugarland, Shania Twain, Terri Clark, Toby Keith, Bon Jovi, Love & Theft and Billy Currington. "There is plenty of confusion among artists as the music business shrinks, as radio continues to tighten and as new business and marketing options arise. We offer a one stop option for ideas and acumen, from almost every angle required."

"I'm so excited to start this company with John and continue helping artists in this business," says Mates, who formed the award-winning Emerson Drive in Alberta in the 1990's. "All the experience I've gained with major and indie labels, booking agents, producers and others will be put to good use as we dive in and work with the terrific talent in Canada."

In addition to representing Emerson Drive, TTA is proud to work with management client Matt Gary and consulting client Momentum Label Group, which is led by noted artist Jamie O'Neal, and features flagship artist Rachele Lynae. A TTA publishing entity will begin operation immediately. Through TTA, Ettinger continues his longtime partnership with founder Chris Allums in label services company Quarterback Records.
