Nashville, Tenn. (July 10, 2012) - GRAMMY Award-winning country music star Billy Dean can add a check to his bucket list.  This past weekend at the Grand Ole Opry, Dean was asked to join the Old Crow Medicine Show onstage to help sing on the group's smash song, "Wagon Wheel."

"I'm such a huge fan of those guys," says Dean.  "I'm so honored to have been asked to sing with them on one of my favorite songs.  I'm not kidding... 'Wagon Wheel' is the ringtone on my phone!"

"Backstory: Kenny Chesney"

"Backstory: Kenny Chesney" -- Football's Loss Was Music's Gain

BIODOC INCLUDES NEVER BEFORE SEEN PHOTOS FROM PERSONAL COLLECTION
(NASHVILLE, TENN.) July 9, 2012 – “It was literally like the hand of God going, ‘Okay, this is why you can’t play sports anymore,’” says Kenny Chesney when he redirected his drive and ambition from sports to music as a college freshman. Backstory: Kenny Chesney, premiering Thursday, July 12, 10:00 p.m./ET on Great American Country (GAC) tells Chesney’s remarkable story -- through those closest to him including NFL coaches Sean Payton and Jon Gruden and tour mate Jake Owen -- of a football fanatic and the detour that led him to become one of the most successful artists in contemporary music. Many never before seen photographs from the singer’s personal collection are included in this one-hour biodoc.
Although Chesney scored his first Top 10 hit in 1995, what followed was valuable time spent on the road and in the studio learning his craft. “I had a greatest hits album with 17 songs on it and nobody knew who I was,” he recalls. “But they knew the songs.” After some soul searching Chesney admitted to himself that he was not going to be one of his heroes. “There were a lot of guys trying to be George Strait at that time and I was one of them,” he says. “I can’t be somebody else and still be successful. I had to get better as an artist, a songwriter and a musician because if I didn’t, I was going to have my little run and that was going to be it. There was something inside of me that was not going to let me settle and it’s still there.”
The lifelong sports fan began treating everything he did like an athlete, even taking a trainer on the road with him for two years. It was a metamorphosis that affected every aspect of his career. “My song sense changed, the way Buddy (Cannon) and I recorded our records changed, the way we mixed them changed.” The island influence in his lifestyle translated into his writing and performing and it suited him well. The amazing transformation grew with the release of the quadruple platinum LP, No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem in 2002. By 2004 Chesney was selling out stadiums and remains one of the few artists in any genre to still be doing so today.
“This is definitely a more intimate look at how Kenny Chesney rose from a being a member of the pack to one of music’s top superstars,” says GAC GM/SVP Sarah Trahern. “We appreciate his willingness to share his stories and his personal photographs with our viewers.”
It’s been 17 years, but the eight-time Entertainer of the Year winner shows no signs of slowing down. He recently released Welcome to the Fishbowl and continues to sell out stadiums on his Brothers of the Sun tour with Tim McGraw. “I’m not going to sit here and say I want to win two more Entertainer of the Year awards or sell another 30 million records, but I do. But I’m not going to tell you that’s incredibly important to me. I want to get better at what I do; I just want to write the best songs I can and put on the best show out there and that other stuff will take care of itself.”

Love And Theft Is Available For Pre-Order

Love And Theft's Self-Titled Forthcoming Record Is Available For Pre-Order Now

Nashville, TN - ACM-nominated country duo Love and Theft (Stephen Barker Liles and Eric Gunderson) are anxious for people to hear their self-titled RCA Nashville debut album, due out July 24. To preview tracks and pre-order the new album, click on this link: http://bit.ly/OZyKO0
“This record represents the way we sound live,” says Stephen. Eric adds, “You get the warmth and the emotion of the players vibing together in the room. We feel like we have made the record we’ve always wanted to make and we can’t wait to find out what people think about it.”
“Angel Eyes” is Love and Theft’s lead single from their forthcoming record. The song, co-written by Jeff Coplan, Eric Paslay and Eric Gunderson, jumped into the Top 10 last week on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and Country Aircheck and is climbing the charts. The track has sold over 350K digital downloads and the music video for “Angel Eyes” has received over 1.2 million views on VEVO.com.
Love and Theft are out on the road this summer with Brad Paisley’s Virtual Reality World Tour. “We’re playing on the ‘Virtual Opry’ stage,” Eric says, “which is a pretty real depiction of what the Grand Ole Opry stage looks like in Nashville. It’s been great fun.”
Stephen adds, “We’ve learned a lot from the artists we’ve opened for over the last few years like Brad, Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw, and Taylor Swift. It’s been a really cool experience. Hopefully, one day we’ll be able to show other artists the same generosity that’s been shown to us.”

HAYSTACK – Irish Folk and more

HAYSTACK – Irish Folk and more

01. Cunla / Eina / Cacak: irisches Volkslied in ursprünglicher Form, dann in
  2. The Harvest Set: drei Jigs
  4. The Nightingale: ein schönes Liebeslied.
  5. Flat World / Zelda: zwei bretonische Tanzstücke
  7. Die Mezinke: ein chassidischer Hochzeitstanz
  8. The Spanish Lady / Kesh Jig: Irische Traditionals
  9. Wou is daham / Mazurka Augurka: der erste Teil stammt von der österreichischen Band “Aniada a noar”, angeschlossen eine bretonische Mazurka.
  10. Polka Set: drei irische Polkas
  11. Follow me up to Carlow: traditionelles Lied von den Aufständen in Irland
  12. Heyser Bulgar: ein Klezmer-Tanzstück aus Bulgarien
  13. The Star of the County Down: irisches Liebeslied.
Jhd,. in Nordamerika.

Wynonna Judd – The Other Side

Wynonna Judd – The Other Side

1. When Love Starts Talkin' 3:09 2. The Other Side 3:55 3.Love Like That 3:58 4. Kind of Fool Love Makes 4:34 5. Troubled Heart and a Troubled Mind 3:12 6. Don't You Throw That Mojo on Me 3:27 7. Come Some Rainy Day 3:15 8. Love's Funny That Way 4:46 9. The Wyld Unknown 3:34 10. Why Now 4:50 11. We Can't Unmake Love 3:30 12. Always Will 4:52

Packed with solid production, resonating lyrics, and addictive melodies, this debut is sure to hit home with country fans across the U.S.

Radio and industry critics are giving Reggie rave reviews, including earning the DisCovery Award from renowned music critic, Robert K. Oermann.

“…This pulsing country rocker boasts a tight arrangement, a clear production and straightforward drive.  His vocal about facing a complicated romance rings with conviction. A winner.” – Robert K. Oermann, Music Row
--------------------
“Reggie Shaw is an outstanding talent who understands how to connect with an audience… This song could be the start of something special.” – Adam Smith, Music Director at KRVN, Lexington, NE
--------------------
“Reggie Shaw has a star quality not found in many people. He is a unique talent.  We have seen his music ‘move the meter’ so to speak in our market!” –Scott O’Rourke, Program Director at KRNY, Kearney/Grand Island, NE
--------------------

Reggie Shaw, raised in Overton, Nebraska, found his passion for country music during a life changing event. At the young age of 14, Reggie was hit by a car while riding his bike. After nine surgeries, he was introduced to the "powerful and meaningful" message of country music through Garth Brook’s hit, “The Dance.” With a full recovery and encouragement from his family, Reggie pursued his musical talent and discovered his uncanny ability for songwriting and performing. During high school, he entered such competitions as Galaxy of Stars Talent Search and the Colgate Country Showdown where he was awarded glowing media recognition for his talents. Reggie moved to Nashville soon after graduation, where he had the fortunate opportunity to meet songwriter and future friend, Eric Durrance. The meeting proved beneficial as Eric and Reggie have wrote over 48 songs together, many of which are featured on the Wynnesong Records debut album, Living in the Fast Lane.

INTERLAKEN Party bis der Arzt kommt!

GO WEST – GO INTERLAKEN
19. Internationales Trucker & Country-Festival Interlaken (Schweiz)

Tanya Tucker / USA
Terri Clark / CAN Interview Terri Clark
Burns & Poe / USA Interview Burns & Poe
Marco Gottardi & the Silver Dollar Band / CH
Kim Carson & Ron Hotstream (USA)
Scooter Lee (USA)
Ralph & the Therapists (USA)
Country Sisters/CZ ( Country Sisters - You Can Make Me Happy  ), Heavy Load/D, Big Dig/D, Rodeo Ranchers/CH, Andy Martin/CH, The Fires/CH, Daddy and the Willyshakers/CH und viele mehr.

- 30. Juni 2013 das 20. Internationale Trucker & Country Festival in Interlaken/CH stattfindet.

Keep it country!

Intervew with Flynville Train, Nashville 07.06.2012

Intervew with Flynville Train, Nashville 07.06.2012

H.D. Where did the name Flynnville Train come from?

Bryan: The Name comes from the last Name Flynn, me and my brother Brent Flynn, we come from Central Indiana where there is a lot of rural towns, a lot of farm communities around. The last Names of the Towns have a lot of „villes“ in it. Like Joseph, our Bass player, is from Portville Indiana, that’s just a good example. The Train part came from rehearsing at my house at the Outskirts of the Town. The Townspeople could hear us rehearsing all thru the Town. They always told us at the Grocery Store, it sounds like a Train coming thru Town when you guys are rehearsing. Thats where Flynville Train came from.

H.D. Have you known each other for a long time?

Bryan: Flynnville Train has been together for 12 years.

H.D. Are you still under Management from Toby Keith?

Tommy: No, not since about three years. Trisha Walker is our current manager.
We had a good working Relationship with them, it just wasn’t the right situation for us. So we stepped out and tried to venture on our own, which is what we’re doing now. We created another album about two years ago, so now we are working on getting it out to the People. We put a new team of People together and we feel really good about it. People that will allow us to be ourselves and let us express what we have to express and give to the world.

H.D. Are you still performing with or for Toby Keith?

Bryan: No, we don t, we’re just good friends.

H.D. Tell us something about your Music Style.

Brent: It’s pretty much up tempo, Southern Rock Guitar oriented most of the time, it just depends on the song. Everything we do, be it lyrically or musically, we belive in it. We try to do mostly good time stuff, something that makes us feel good. We figure, if it makes us feel good, hopefully it will make everyone else feel good too.

Tommy: We try not to bind ourselves with Genre, we have a lot of different
Influences, from Classic Rock to Classic Country to Bluegrass. When we put
our music toghether, we don’t have any conversations or think about what
Genre this would fit in. It’s us, that’s what you get.

H.D. Who are your musical Influences?

Brent: Mine started when I was just a little kid, I listened to tons of Elvis, the
Beatles, their guitar influences, Scotty Moore, which was Elvis’ first guitar
player. Me and Bryans Father, Marty Stuart, George Jones, and of course, since I grew up in the 70’s and 80’s, Classic Rock, stuff you don’t hear today as much.

Tommy: For me, my first musical Influence was my Father. He’s a Drummer as well.
I grew up watching him play. We all can say that, we all come from
musical familys. But that was my greatest Influence. I fell into Classic Rock,
then I lived in the Blues World for a while, I really got into traditional type Blues Music and the Shuffles. Then I landed with these guys.

Joseph: My Influences where Rush and Lynyrd Skynyrd

H.D. How do you experience the CMA Fest?

Brent: Lots of Traffic! Seriously, we enjoy it a lot, this week we’re playing several
Places, from Tootsies to Lime Light, Honky Tonks, just Downtown
Broadway. We were in the Parade and really had a good time there.

Tommy: The greatest part of what CMA Fest is, it is all for the Fans. The Country
Music Industry is the greatest, we have the greatest Fans of all, and we are
here to celebrate that and give something back to them, because without
our Fans, we would be nothing. There wouldn’t be any CMA, Nashville
would be only a dot on the map.

Bryan: Yesterday, we were in the Parade. We’ve been gone for a couple of
Years, but when you are going down in the Parade and there are People
standing there holding Signs with your Name on it, with Question
Marks, when are you coming to the UK, that kind of thing. We’ve made
a few Fans over the last few Years and they haven’t forgotten us. I got
Goosebumps watching that. It makes you feel nice.

H.D. You have been at CMA Fest before?

Tommy: Yes, this is our sixth time here, it’s always a blast.

H.D. In July you will appear at a Festival in Poland, are you going anywhere
else in Europe?

Tommy: Last year we played at Craponne, France, that was our first Experience
outside of the United States. It was such a wonderful Experience, we
found we had a whole Fanbase there that we didn’t even realise existed.
We are very excited about exploring that even more, playing Overseas,
in Europe, wherever Internationally. We are so blessed, to have the Opportunity to do that.

H.D. You are working on a new CD, when will it be released?

Tommy: Well, we have the CD that we finished two years ago, but it hasn’t actually
Been released or marketed, we still have a few technical things to finish it
up in the Studio, so we are looking at early 2013 for it to be released. I’ m sure you’ll see a single released from it this Summer. Of course it is ailable
online, if somebody wants to check it out for a Review. On I-Tunes, or go to Flynnvilletrain.com to Review the Music.

H.D. Can you say something about the Songs on this CD?

Bryan: We wrote a lot of these Songs about our past Experiences, our Lives, Family, Fathers, Grandparents, just growing up. We don’t pretend to be great Songwriters but I think if you write honestly about yourself and the People around you, you can write Songs. Instead of trying to make up Ideas coming from nowhere. I found it very comforting and exciting to write about an Experience, whether it’s your Father, your Grandfather or Grandmother or just anybody in your Family or Friends. We put a lot of work into it, but it was very gratifying for us to write all these Songs that are on this Record. And I’m excited about writing some more. I can’t wait for the whole World to hear it.

Tommy: This Record kind of sums up where we are, who we are and where we
come from at this point of our Careers and it is very personal to us.
We did put a lot of work into it and like Bryan said, we can’t wait for the
whole World to listen to it.

H.D. Do you have any other Projects for the Future?

Tommy: Yea, actually, the Album we were just referring to, is actually done for the
most part. But we are currently working on the next, we’re always
working on new Material and getting ready for the next Round. I look to
that sometime next Year to have another Album to present or at least a
single.

H.D. Are you going on a Tour here in the US before you go to Poland?

Tommy: Yes we are, we’ll play at a lot of Fairs and Festivals, we’ll go to Jordan
New York, week after next. We play a lot on the East Coast, we are from
the Midwest but it seems we get a lot more work on the East Coast. We
have a lot of Fans out there and we like it there too.

H.D. Is there anything you would like for People to know about you?

Bryan: We’re just regular People that love playing Music and we would like to
Entertain the way we would like to be Entertained. We’re just Blue Collar guys from the Midwest and we are fortunate enough to be playing Music
and to be living a Dream that we always wanted. That’s Success in itself.

Brent: It’s pretty much like Bryan said, outside of that we do our own thing, like me, I like Cars, get my Hands dirty.

Tommy: I like to Fish and just be out in the Woods.

Bryan: Me and Joseph like to ride our Harleys, and I like to Fish with Tommy,
we have not had the chance yet this Year, so we are looking forward to
that.
