Tune in Friday, June 22!

(Nashville, Tenn., June 21, 2012) Tune in Friday, June 22, when country Star Lee Brice returns to the “Today” show to help fulfill a dream come true for co-host, Hoda Kotb. Brice will perform his current hit single, “Hard to Love,” which is rapidly climbing Billboard’s Top Country Songs chart and is sitting at #13 on the iTunes Country Top 100 chart with 190,000 digital downloads sold to date.

This past spring, Brice co-hosted the “Today” show with Kotb and performed his #1 hit, “A Woman Like You,” which was just certified platinum by the RIAA for 1 million digital downloads. In April 2011, Hoda Kotb selected Lee Brice’s hit single and Billboard’s Most Played Song of 2010, “Love Like Crazy,” for her “iHoda Playlist.”

Brice is currently touring throughout the United States throughout the summer.

Please visit www.leebrice.com for further information and a list of upcoming tour dates.

About Lee Brice
Hard 2 Love is the highly-anticipated follow-up album to Brice’s 2010 debut release, Love Like Crazy.

Love Like Crazy’s title-track was named Billboard’s 2010 Most Played Country Song.

In 2011, Eli Young Band’s hit, “Crazy Girl,” co-penned by Brice, was Billboard’s Most Played Country Song of the Year and picked up the 2012 ACM for “Song of the Year.”

Brice’s media blitz surrounding his album release included his late night debut on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, appearances on Fox & Friends, the Today show, CNN Show Biz Tonight, Imus in the Morning and more.

Wynonna Judd Marries in Secret Ceremony

A BIG Congratulations goes out to Wynonna Judd who was married in a sunset wedding Sunday, June 10 on her farm in Tennessee. via Us Weekly:
For her third walk down the aisle, the country crooner, 48, donned a Houri Barahimi dress — and no shoes! A drummer in Judd’s band, The Big Noise, 55-year old (Cactus) Moser was cowboy chic in his tuxedo, which he accessorized with a vest, pocket watch and holster.
“I felt a joy that hasn’t been there before,” Judd gushes to Us of the intimate bash — where attendees included her kids from previous marriages Grace, 16, and Elijah, 17. (Her sister Ashley Judd and mom Naomi Judd were not on hand for the bash.)
Dating since 2009, Judd and Moser announced their engagement last December. Judd divorced her second husband, D.R. Roach after four years in 2007, and split from businessman Arch Kelly III — with whom she has two children — in 1998.

Lonestar Starts “The Countdown” to July 17th

WHO ELSE IS EXCITED for the 20th anniversary Lonestar?   It is already underway and fans will be excited to hear that the release of their new single “The Countdown,” has been confirmed for July 17.  A new album–on their own label, 4 Star Records-is expected in October.
The recently reunited quartet kicked off 2012 with a hugely successful and acclaimed European tour on a multi-artist bill with Reba McEntire and Ricky Scaggs.   Lonestar also recently performed at the CMA Fest in Nashville: an invitation-only sold out show for their fan club at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum as well as on the Riverfront Stage for CMA festival attendees. The group debuted “The Countdown” for the standing-room-only festival show, as well as another new song, “Pretty Good Day.” “It was a blast” says Sams.

Gloriana Celebrates First Top 10 Single

Gloriana celebrates another career milestone as their latest single “(Kissed You) Good Night” grabs the #9 spot on the Billboard Country Singles Chart, making it their first single to land in the Top 10 and the fastest rising single of their career. “(Kissed You) Good Night” is from the band’s much-anticipated second studio album A Thousand Miles Left Behind, which is set for release July 31st. Gloriana is currently out on the road performing headlining dates across the country as well as a few select dates opening for Alan Jackson.
“Between finishing up the new album, performing across the country, and now seeing how much this single has really connected with country music fans, we have really had an amazing year so far,” said Tom. “We are extremely grateful for all of the support and can’t wait for our album release.”

Toby Keith Strikes Again as the Incognito Bandito at Nashville Benefit

Just as advertised, the Incognito Bandito (aka Toby Keith) rode in from the trail Tuesday night (June 19) to delight a door-busting crowd at Nashville's 3rd & Lindsley nightclub with an hour-long program of cover tunes.
The Bandito was there to help pay medical bills for Jan Grantt, the cancer-stricken wife of Keith's bass player, Kevin "Swine" Grantt.
Also singing for the cause were Josh Turner, Craig Morgan, Darryl Worley, Josh Thompson, Ashton Shepherd, Trent Willmon, Carl Jackson, Larry Cordle, Jerry Salley, the Sisters and Curtis Wright.
The singers were backed by members of Keith's road band and various Nashville session musicians.
The crowd began gathering when the doors opened at 6 p.m. By 8 p.m., when the show started, every street, alley and parking lot surrounding the club was thick with cars.

B. Killing Time, Blue Moon Of Kentucky, Bad Moon Rising, I Saw The Light, If Tomorrow Never Comes, Fishing In The Dark, Leavin’ On A Jetplane, und ein schönes Instrumental >Harmonica Jones< von Charlie McCoy, bei dem Peter Klee voll in seinem Mundharmonika-Element war.

WICKED WILDCATS, temperamentvoll wie immer, spielten u. a. >Trail of Tears<, >Folsom Prison Blues<, etc.

Band kam noch RAILROAD COMPANY, 6 Mann/Frau-Stark: >Two Pina Coladas<, >King Of The Road<, >South Of The Border<, u. a.

Kleiner Auszug aus dem Gehörten: >Cover of the Rolling Stone<, >Bad Moon Rising<, >The Rose<, >Come Together<, >Summertime<, eine sehr flotte >Sexbomb<, >Wish you were here< (hier durfte ein Gast den Refrain mitsingen), >Georgia< (sehr gefühlvoll gesungener Blues), >Have you ever seen the Rain< - ebenfalls bestens!
