Rural Rhythm Records is proud to announce the new music video and radio single release of “Trailblazer” by bluegrass duo, THE ROYS.  The song is currently on the Bluegrass Today Weekly Airplay Chart and appears on their album, LONESOME WHISTLE which debuted at #7 on the Billboard Bluegrass Album Chart. 
 
The “Trailblazer” video was shot on location in Hermitage, TN just outside of Nashville with additional scenes filmed at Percy Priest Lake, and features  Elaine Roy, Lee Roy (Mandolin), Clint White (Fiddle), Zac Hardin (Bass), Sterling Masat (Banjo, Dobro), and Harry Clark (guitar).  It debuted this morning on Cybergrass and is now available for viewing on numerous other sites including: The Roys’ official website, youtube and Rural Rhythm Records.  The video was filmed and directed by Sammy Passamano III with Anthony Passamano serving as Assistant Director. 
 
The Roys, who were just named in Roughstock's 2011 In Review: The Best New Talent of the Year list, have kicked off what plans to be their biggest year yet. They taped an upcoming PBS Special that celebrates the music of Laura Ingalls Wilder last week, and will embark on their first tour of Australia next week.  The Roys recently announced joining Vietti Foods to extend the Vietti Vinyl campaign, with the duo’s image appearing on 500,000 cans of the brand’s Family Style Beef Stew available at Family Dollar stores in 25 states through 2012.  The duo has also signed a new production deal with ValCom Studios for a 13-episode weekly, music-driven variety show called "Roots And Music With The Roys."

More than a decade since Jack Daniel’s last worked closely with a major music artist, the Lynchburg, Tenn. distillery is teaming with Zac Brown Band for a campaign that combines Southern gourmet food, the band’s genre-bending music and the pleasures of good ol’ fashioned Tennessee whiskey.
“There are so many synergies between the two,” said Dave Stang, Assistant VP, Brand Awareness, Home Place, Jack Daniel’s. “We get calls all the time: ‘Sponsor our band’ or ‘sponsor our tour.’ For years we didn’t do it, but then this fell in our lap. There is nothing phony about Lynchburg. And with Zac Brown there is nothing phony about him. It works real well.”
It all began more than four years ago when Zac Brown Band signed with ROAR management and Brown began thinking about brands he might consider as partners. One was Jack Daniel’s, so over the next two years the band made several trips to Lynchburg, while the company’s representatives saw their live shows. The band met with distillers to watch the whiskey-making process and to learn the Jack Daniel’s history and traditions.
The partnership, launched in September 2011 with sold-out concerts at Red Rocks Amphitheatre near Morrison, Colo., includes advertising, social media campaigns and promotions across the U.S. and Canada as well as a responsible drinking campaign. It has a commemorative bottle program featuring whiskey from the band’s unique barrel; proceeds support Brown’s charitable organizations. Brown has even incorporated the whiskey into his famous eat & greet events, where he offers concertgoers original culinary creations prepared by Southern Ground Executive Chef Rusty Hamlin. In addition, Jack Daniel’s is rolling with its "Lynchburg on Wheels,” a mobile Lynchburg museum of sorts that appears at the band’s select tour dates, Southern Ground Music and Food Festivals, ticket giveaways and other activities.
“There are just some brands out there that are uniquely American, that speak to all of us in a way that is hard to explain sometimes,” said Bernie Cahill, a partner at ROAR. “Jack is one of those iconic brands that exhibit all of those pillars of authenticity that are so important to consumers these days.”
Part of the appeal of Zac Brown Band is the demographic of the group’s fan base, which tends to be on the younger side of legal drinking age, according to Stang. He also sees strong similarities between the artist and “Mr. Jack,” as the brand’s now-deceased founder is known around Lynchburg.
“Jack believed in fraternity and Zac also believes in fraternity,” Stang said. “They’ve got Southern roots, and that’s the epitome of Americana. Mr. Jack and Zac are both free-spirited people. And if you look at it in their trade, they do things their own way. Zac has his standards and sticks to those standards, and certainly Jack does. What we see is what we get, and we’ll not change our ways.”

Nashville, TN (January 17, 2012) - Hot Bluegrass duo, The Roys, recently taped a PBS Special celebrating the music of Laura Ingalls Wilder.  Lee and Elaine Roy joined Randy Travis, Ronnie Milsap and numerous other stars for the event, which raised the rafters of the Loveless Barn outside of Nashville last week.  Check out great behind-the-scenes footage and hear the music of Charles "Pa" Ingalls at MTSU Helps Revive Great Old American Music with "Pa's Fiddle" Project - YouTube.
The PBS Special, "Pa's Fiddle: America's Music," is the brain-child of Dr. Dale Cockrell, director of MTSU's Center for Popular Music and scholar of the songs embedded in the "Little House on the Prairie" books.  He was joined by MTSU professors and students who worked behind the scenes to capture video for the documentary, titled "Inside Pa's Fiddle." 
MTSU is playing a key role in keeping the old-time fiddle music alive for future generations. Some of the more popular songs were featured in a recorded PBS pledge-drive special that will begin a two-year broadcast run in June.

This fun party song tells of a girl's night out and was tracked in Nashville at the Sound Emporium and mixed in the House of Blues. It also features one of Natalie's favourite guitarists Jedd Hughes. Video Clip for the single was filmed by Rusty Gate Films in Sydney and is airing now on the Country Music Channel(CMC), Australia's 24 hour Pay TV Country Music Channel. 


There are cameo appearances by other Australian country artists who party in a Pink Hummer Limousine.
Two of Natalie's previous video clips 'The Long Night' and 'You Never Knew Me' were #1 hits on the Country Music Channel Top 30 Countdown.
Natalie's debut album 'Yesterday's Makeup' produced two award winning songs, 'I Can't' which won Natalie the Australian Musicoz Best Country Artist Award and 'I Don't Want To Live Like That' won the Independent Music Awards Country Song of the Year' in USA.
