Lacy Green Is Ready “For The Summertime”

Lacy Green Is Ready “For The Summertime” With Debut Single Release

North Carolina native marks first release with racecar sponsorship at nationally televised ARCA race

(Nashville, Tenn. – June 22, 2011)  SwanGate Records recording artist Lacy Green is officially ready “For The Summertime” with her debut single, out at Country radio now.

Green’s “For The Summertime” is a breezy, bluegrass-tinged Country track that reflects the young singer’s upbringing in the small town of Pilot Mountain, North Carolina.  Green recorded the song while finishing college this spring at UNC-Chapel Hill.  “For The Summertime” was produced by renowned singer, songwriter and producer Ronnie Bowman and written by Heather Lynn Morgan and David Thomson.

“I loved this song the minute I heard it because it immediately painted this familiar portrait of the summertime and growing up in North Carolina.  I think the imagery in the lyrics is beautiful, and I hope that other people can relate to it as well,” says Green.  “When we started playing the new songs at our live shows, ‘For The Summertime’ was always one of the ones that people - young or old - loved to hear, and the timing to release it now couldn’t be more perfect.”

To help kick off the promotion behind its release, the “For the Summertime” single artwork was featured on one of the cars at the ARCA Pocono 200 race on June 11.   Up and coming rookie driver Brennan Poole drove Venturini Motorsports’ No. 25 Toyota during the event, prominently displaying the artwork on the hood of the car.  Poole finished fifth in the race, televised nationally on the SPEED Channel.

Green is currently embarking on a national radio tour in support of “For The Summertime.”  In between visits to stations, Green continues to work on her debut album for SwanGate Records, due out later this year.

About Lacy Green:
North Carolina native Lacy Green grew up surrounded by the sounds of Country, Bluegrass and Folk music in the small town of Pilot Mountain, N.C.  A recent graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, Lacy released her debut single, “For the Summertime,” to national Country radio in June.  Her debut album, produced by renowned songwriter and producer Ronnie Bowman, is scheduled for release later this year.  For more information, visit www.LacyGreen.com.

MILOW – vergoldet seine Single „You and Me (In My Pocket)”

SIMBA JORDAN TO RECORD NEW MUSIC WITH PRODUCER LONNIE WILSON

SIMBA JORDAN TO RECORD NEW MUSIC WITH PRODUCER LONNIE WILSON
Jordan enters studio June 25th and 26th; new single out this fall

(Nashville, TN – 06/22/2011) This weekend Ohio native Simba Jordan returns to Music City to enter the studio with producer Lonnie Wilson, who is known for his work with Joe Diffie, to record 3 songs that originally came to him in the early part of the 2000’s.

Simba Jordan states about why he feels that Lonnie is the perfect fit for the producer role on these songs, “Lonnie was an artist, is a top songwriter and session musician who will bring your A-game out of you as a performer.”

Jordan will record the songs titled “Country Thang,” “Goodbye Eyes” and “Hand Me Down Heart.”

Wilson along with Jimmy Yeary wrote both “Goodbye Eyes” and “Country Thang,” which was recorded by John Michael Montgomery. “Hand Me Down Heart,” which was recorded by Clay Walker was written by Wilson and his co-writer Zack Turner.

Producer Lonnie Wilson says of these songs and why they are a perfect fit for Simba Jordan’s style and voice, “Simba has been performing these songs live and feels like it shows the energetic side of him with the songs "Country Thang" and "Hand me Down Heart" plus the smooth vocal abilities he has with "Goodbye Eyes.”

Jordan will spend the rest of his summer on the road bringing his music, including these new songs, to live audiences at several fairs and festivals and will release a new single, which has not been selected yet, this fall to country radio.

MOODY BLUEGRASS TWO...MUCH LOVE
All-Star Bluegrass Tribute to the Moody Blues Available NOW
Produced by David Harvey

Moody Bluegrass Two...Much Love
Nashville, Tenn. – Following 2004’s critically and commercially acclaimed tribute to the legendary Moody Blues, the GRAMMY nominated Moody Bluegrass, along with the highly successful Moody Bluegrass Live, Nashville’s finest have come together again to honor the Moody Blues with Moody Bluegrass Two…Much Love released nationwide this week!
“We have had so many cover versions of our songs over the years, but none have stood out like Moody Bluegrass. Nashville's most outstanding musicians have once again brought a new dimension to our songs, “ said Ray Thomas, co-founder of the Moody Blues.
Producer David Harvey returns for this second volume, which perfectly blends the brilliant songwriting of the Moody Blues with the bluegrass sounds of mandolins, banjos and even clogging. The collection of bluegrass covers includes Moody Blues members Justin Hayward, John Lodge and Graeme Edge, as well as band co-founders Mike Pinder and Ray Thomas and a wide assortment of Music City’s finest including Vince Gill, Ricky SkaggsSam Bush and more.
The record spans the entire Moody Blues catalogue, and includes fan favorites such as "Tuesday Afternoon" and "I Know You're Out There." Moody Bluegrass Two translates the Moody Blues’ original songs seamlessly and much like the first bluegrass tribute, the beauty of the original Moody Blues music shines.
Moody Bluegrass Two also features the talents of Tim O'Brien, Harley Allen, Peter Rowan, Jan Harvey, Ronnie Bowman, Emma Harvey, Larry Cordle, John Cowan, Jon Randall, David Harvey, Tim May, Andy Hall and Andy Todd.
